For the 10.00 surprise baked goods 3 stars, was a box of 11 cream puffs that were not great, not worth 30.00 more like 12.00 to 15.00 For the Food: 5 stars a variety of soups, chile rienos, rice, tacos etc.. The food and bakery has really changed over years. I have been coming here for 30 years. For those saying the recipes are the same, they are lying. On some of the bakery items like the milojas. They seem to use little to no heavy cream and mostly sugar. It taste like pure sugar, extremely sweet. They have also cut it in half. It use to be 3 layers of fluffy whipped cream. Now its just one and very little on the top. The sheets they use to make this are rock hard. I couldn't bite into it. Most of the breads seem to have changed to more of a mexican recipe. The bolillos are slightly sweet. They use to make yummy cakes that the bread was soaked in some type of wine or liquor. They no longer make them like that. Not the central American bakery that we use to come to. They might change bakers and cooks but why change the recipes. Sadly will no longer be going back. read more
