Several months later and the car is experiencing more and more issues due to the damage done by tasca. All rubber and plastic components are starting to crack, metal components that were left bare or didn't have the aircraft stripper fully removed corroding, etc. I just spent an hour taking the entire left rear brake system apart and removing all of the incorrectly applied undercoating from the brake pad ears, caliper bracket, brake pad shims, rotor, etc. I also found the pin boots to be swollen and damaged from the aircraft stripper and salt trapped under the coating has also caused the rear brake shields to rust alarmingly fast. I have been in contact with Kia corporate, who have confirmed this work is not correct. I have also been informed by corporate that tasca kia is not responding to them or communicating with them as they should be. I put in a request online for a very specific vehicle. They contacted me in the morning, telling me the car I wanted was available. Great! The car has been selling like hotcakes, so even though the dealer was about a two hour drive away, I figured it was worth it. We set an appointment in the afternoon. We make the drive down there, we're greeted by the manager... only to have them pull the wrong car out. Apparently the literal car I asked for -- and was listed online as available -- was sold. They put the wrong car under my name. They then tried to upsell me on a much more expensive car. When I declined, they THEN told me they were getting in orders of the (downgraded model) of the car, and I could put an order in to wait. I left at that point. I assumed that since most of the bad reviews were about the service department, I'd be fine. I was not. Don't go here. read more

If you want to waste your time then this is dealership for you! My husband, 3 kids and I took a drive to the Tasca Kia dealership in Johnston,from Massachusetts, early on a Sunday. We pulled into the lot at 11:30, 30 minutes prior to the dealership opened, to see the Kia carnival and telluride that were available. The lot was empty due to paving. I glanced in the showroom windows and was waived down by a salesperson. I went in and he was eager to help as well as his manager. I was shown a list of what was available and we were shown the lot where the cars were parked. We glanced at a few cars and decided the Carnival Ex that was on the lot was the one we wanted to test drive. We switched all the kids car seats into the Carnival and we were off. The car was great, fit all our needs and we were prepared to make a deal. We let the sales person know, gave him our information and what we were looking for.... There was one minor thing. The kids were hungry. So we asked him to run the numbers, gave him a few down payment and mileage scenarios and said we would be back in less than an hour to go through everything. We were in contact 3 times with the sales person via text and calls about mileage, vin numbers ect. Came back to the dealership and handed the salesperson our keys for an appraisal. We sat tight at the dealership for about and hour and a half waiting for the numbers. During the hour and half we were told numbers were being worked. Then the Sales manager came over and said I'm sorry we just sold the car! The reasoning being we left the dealership. At this point I was all set....it was a shady, slimy way to do business. If they were just honest with us upfront and were so dishonest I would have been more receptive to the news. We are all human and deserve respect. They were disrespectful and wasted our time! I will never buy from Tasca! Fast forward 2 weeks and I just signed the papers and drove away with a new Kia Carnival from Lev Kia in Framingham. They were honest and so easy to work with. DO NOT GO HERE they took months to get my car fixed, never called me for any updates and when I called them they either took so long to answer (over an hour) so the hold timed out, or they LEFT when I called at 5, and they kept me on hold till after 6 when they left. They were horribly rude on the phone anytime we got somebody on the phone (besides the main man for service who directs you to your provider he was very nice) and when i picked up the car they disconnected anything aftermarket in my car. They are horrible, they basically refused to work with my warrantee company, and in the days after I got my car i got many calls and texts on how I should come back to get more work done. So I'm posting this review on behalf of an experience my girlfriend recently had with Tasca Kia. Both she and I have Kia vehicles that we're leasing. We typically go to the one in Swansea for our routine maintenance because that's where we got them from. We live in Warwick, and we were lazy on our most recent check up and decided to go to Tasca Kia instead of going out to Swansea. Big mistake. She was having issues with one of her tires losing pressure. We had them take a look at it. They supposedly patched the tire and did a tire rotation. One week later, it's losing pressure again on the same side that the tire was previously losing pressure. Odd right? How is it possible that a tire on the same side is losing pressure again? We checked the pressure, 27 psi.... We checked the other tires... 40! The manufacturer recommends 32. 40 is way too high. I spoke with a family member who is a mechanic and he said that's over inflated. So they over inflated all the tires which is not only bad for the tire, but also dangerous. I will never go to this Kia again for service on our vehicles. I don't think they did a tire rotation or patched the tire. They did over inflate them though, which made the low pressure notification go away for a week until the tire lost pressure. read more

I have been with Kia for about 9 years and their service department was great. I always was serviced on that day with a smile- no matter how busy. Now it's Tasca and Now- don't go there!!! So rude. I approached the service area and they said you got an appointment? I said I never needed one for an oil change. He said Ok I have 1 in a week. My response- 1 week!!! The the woman from the other desk rudely approached us and said you will wait four hours that is why you need an appointment. It's 2 pm and would not give me an appointment for a week. Like many others here, I am extremely disappointed with the Service Department. My interaction with Dennis the Service Manager, was not pleasant and honestly very rude. After purchasing my used car in May of 2020, less than two months later Tasca Kia had to tow my car to Johnston because it would not start, they replaced the battery. I received a recall in 2022 for Rav 4 batteries and had questions so I returned to Tasca Kia. After understanding the recall, Dennis informed me that they replaced my battery with something to "get me out the door". I was very surprised when they told me to come to their garage and then basically told me they were too busy to help me out... And they had no loaner cars available while my car would be at their shop indefinitely. Their only suggestion was to contact other dealerships in the area and see if they had availability! PART 2. TASCA GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND AND I'M NOT EVEN THEIR CUSTOMER Jenna at Tasca was super nice and accommodating. She told me my car could be fixed within 3 days. Because it was raining, Jenna suggested I leave my car at their shop and she offered me a loaner car for free. FREE! I drove the 2021 KIA Sportage for 3 days while my Soul was at the shop. I got prompt text and email updates. And my car was ready and fixed within warrantee within the promised 3 days. I'm amazed at the level of customer service they gave me without me even being their customer. I see a bunch of negative reviews on here. Worst parts department. Did not cover our key fob under out warranty package we bought for over $3000. Didn't cover our tires under warranty we purchased didn't cover turbo on car under factory warranty or the extended warranty we bought. Saying we didn't maintenance the car which was absolutely bull. Also sold us with no sticker on car. They had excuses after excuses. Said the tires was discontinued. How u sell me a tire package if the tires r disconnected u sold us on the car and u can't replace. Had to come leave a review because I'm honestly surprised with all the negative experiences. I've had nothing but good experiences with this dealership since they turned to Tasca. Emma in sales is so sweet, so accommodating. I recently had an experience where I went to Jiffy Lube for an oil change, which I will never do again. A few minutes after taking my car in they came out and told me they could not do might oil change because there was oil everywhere. All over the drip pan etc. I have no idea how that could be possible as I had no problems with my vehicle whatsoever. They basically topped my oil off and told me there was nothing they could do for me. I went into Tasca Kia the next morning as soon as they opened. I explain to them what had happened. Within 20 minutes they had me in a rental and out the door. They kept my car, did my oil change and told me everything was all set and no more leaking after they changed my oil. So obviously Jiffy Lube had screwed something up. The fact that they got me into a rental so fast and took care of everything for a problem that they did not even create, that's just good customer service to me. First off, friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Very down to earth. Though they sold the model I was looking for, she est me up with the same everything but better (higher) model. She's gone out of her way to bring my plates to my work and everything. Kept my in the loop about every detail. Then there was Maliaka, who did the financing part. Again, friendly, down to earth and very thorough. Everyone put my best interest first and helped get what i wanted with all posable saving available. This location has a great team. My 2014 Kia Sportage broke down on 11-20-2021. Engine was in safe mode, brought it the Tasca Kia and they told me it failed the engine test. It was still under warranty. The service here is awful. Every time we have come here there has been an issue. We came to service our car, they didn't have the part. That was fine, they told us that once the part was in, it would be an easy fix and would take less than an hour. After calling multiple times and being told they would check on the part and call back (they never called back) I brought my car there and waited over 4 hours for the part to be fixed. I was getting my car serviced and was told that there was a shuttle that could take me back to my home and pick me up while I wait. (Awesome right?) 1. They forgot to remind the driver to take me home. 2. When I got into the car(shuttle) the driver was so rude! My phone died while using my gps and I had asked him to use his phone and he said "No I don't have to this is my phone." So we're driving in circles and he's getting mad and then told me that he hopes I don't need a ride back because he gets out at 4:30. So I had to Uber back. I told my service guy and he basically wanted me to stay quiet and not say anything about it. I don't even want to give 1 star. They only care about sales. Not about customer satisfaction and do the bare minimum in effort.. Bought a used car in January 2021 promised scratches & malfunction with key would be fixed. Still not fixed even though it was sent to the auto body shop. At the auto body shop damage was caused to my vehicle. A work truck HIT my car. I was stuck in a loaner which gave them enough time to order the parts they needed to fix the damage they caused without telling me. Apparently no one knew what was going on..SNEAKY. I only found out they caused damage when I was fed up with being in a loaner and contacted the GM since my sales guy Chris did not step up. GM Alyssa, understood my frustration & helped work with me trying to make things right. Alyssa should have sold me the car. Her help was MUCH appreciated. Its sad i had to reach out to the GM to figure out what was going on and she got back to me about the problem and had a resolution within about 2 hours not even. Again, after this I was told the key malfunction to my trunk would be fixed per the sales person. Told it wouldn't take too long. I get there and I'm told it may take hours. Mind you I am told to go in on a day by my "sales guy" & ITS HIS DAY OFF. This puts me at a major inconvenience and I'm not allowed a loaner. Still stuck with scratches malfunction with key and damage to my rims from whomever drove it. The dealership or auto body people. This was my first time purchasing a car at a dealership and I am DEFINITELY not satisfied i don't recommend coming here. The sales manager NEVER introduced himself or apologized seeing what he could do to resolve these issues. I am still in the process of getting everything fixed. Unprofessional. read more

I can't begin to tell you how unprofessional Tasca Kia is after a terrible incident with their Connecticut store letting me drive two hours to look at a used vehicle after I specifically asked if the radio and air-conditioning worked because Of known issues they told me yes and allowed me to drive two hours and both were broken. The owner contacted me after a terrible review I left told me they would take care of me if I gave them another chance when my wife's vehicle was ready to trade so I called the sales manager two days ago and was told they would call me back in 20 minutes and take care of me I have left multiple digit messages with no response they unreliable and unprofessional to say the least. Then a little while back we brought a vehicle in for an oil change and inspection and 4 hours later They told us they replaced a part that had a recall before they did the inspection so now we had to drive the vehicle over 100 miles before it would pass the time spent was with an appointment this is all ridiculous and this is how they take care of someone they gave their word they would take care of. I'm not one to leave reviews but the inconvenience I had to endure by taking my car to KIA on Bald hill is making me write this. I took my car to Tasca last week to have my defroster/ac looked at because my car was building up condensation. Before taking my car, I checked air cabin filter to see if it was dirty. Upon removing it (those things are a pain to remove) I damaged it. was contacted by Bella who told me my filter was damaged and needed to be replaced, told her I did that. They couldn't replicate my issue so it might be filter. Either pay for filter or a 130 diagnostic fee. So I had to get the filter. Asked Bella if they checked my ac hose to make sure it want clogged. She stated "everything they did is on the sheet they sent you. Told her it wasn't on there, her response "not all things they check are written down" got car back, still having issue. Texted Bella, told her this is why I asked them to check AC hose. She told me "they did check AC hose amd I could make another appt. so we move to today, car is now at another KiA dealership. Get a call. Guess what people....ITS MY AC HOSE! it's clogged. Call Tasca, cause now I need ANOTHER cabin filter cause the moisture damaged the new one and I'm not paying for it. No ownership on their end, just "you can come in a grab a new filter. Told them I wasn't paying for a second one. Oh and second thing my car is two years old, under warranty. Shouldn't have to pay for a diagnostic fee. So I got bambozzled into paying for the filter cause I wasn't paying 130. peace out Tasca. read more

I recently inquired about a new KIA Soul I spoke with the salesperson and gave them the details on my trade a 2016 MB C300. I sent pictures, vin number and miles. I was given a price of $28,900 , all in with my trade including any negative equity. I confirmed the price with the sales person. I was assured this was the price. I received a text, followed up by an email with the window sticker of the car I was going to purchase. I gave a deposit on the 2020 Soul to secure the car. This was at the start of the week. I was coming down on 10/26 (Saturday) to take delivery of the Soul. Friday afternoon I receive a call from the Sales Mgr who reported that he made a $10,000 error and would not be able to sell me the car at the price I was originally given . Regardless of the agreed on price stated in their email and texts. I find it hard to believe that a dealer can issue a price on a vehicle and not stand by the price quoted. I was given a price at the start of the week , was in contact with the sales person throughout the week giving her information regarding the sale of the car along with my trade in. Last minute to find out they would not honor their price. I would be extremely hesitant to conduct business with TASCA KIA in the future. read more
