I hired Tassio to install a full Mitsubishi mini-split system (7 units) in my completely remodeled home. The work was finished in November 2023, and my family moved in January 2024. Since then, I've had repeated problems with the HVAC system: * April 2024: Leak in my son's bedroom unit. * August 2024: Kitchen unit leaked so badly it damaged my ceiling. The technician wrote in the service notes that the drain line was too short and that he incorrectly set the condensation pump to "high." * September 2025: The same kitchen pump started making loud noises. When I contacted Tassio, their Service Supervisor told me my "2-year warranty" had already expired--even though installation was completed in November of 2023. I later confirmed with the pump manufacturer (REFCO) that the technician's adjustment was improper for a 12K BTU unit. In other words, the issue was caused by Tassio yet again. Despite this, they wanted to charge me $610 for a service call. Instead, I purchased and installed a new condensation pump, which fixed Tassio's mistake. In less than two years, I've had four HVAC issues directly tied to Tassio's work (the 4th one was an installation mistake). I paid a lot of money for this system, and it has been nothing but problems. Therefore, I will never use Tassio again and will no longer recommend them. read more

This company managed to cause an explosion in my furnace while they visited to inspect my unit that was not starting. Technician was on the phone with his sr asking for advice, then started to install tape over the air intake of the unit. He kept putting tape until there was a very loud explosion sound from my unit. Despite documenting this incident via email and pictures and multiple calls on the day of the incident where they assured me im not on my own and they will be there to make it right. My options that they put on the table for me after was $4000 for labor only to replace my unit since unit was still under warranty, they said repair is not recommended. I was also told others had inspected your unit before and your unit was probably making this noise before but you didnt notice. After asking them for accountability, they walked away from this problem despite assuring me on the day of the incident that i wont be left alone. read more

My a/c stopped working. Electricity was fine and the condenser unit was fine. Tassio was able to trace it to a water blockage linked to my a/c unit at the front of my house. Apparently, the water blockage makes the a/c unit automatically turn off. Weird. Pretty happy that Tassio was able to figure it out. They cleared out the blockage and charged me the service call and nothing more. read more

I have been a long-standing customer of Temperature Control and now Tassio Temperature Control. They have done installations and maintenance work for me over several decades. Always excellent. This installation was no different. From the maintenance call and revelation that there was a bigger problem brewing to the consultation and installation of my new system, the communication and customer support were excellent. If they say they will show up within a certain time window, they do. Damian and his whole crew were so wonderful to work with. Very competent and pleasant. It was a two-day installation and they left my in-house work site very clean after each day. Being that it would be so hot in my attic on Day 2, I suggested that if they wanted to come a little earlier in the morning, that would be fine with me. They got the approval from their management and were here an hour earlier. This crew worked very hard and did a great job and my new system is working beautifully. read more

Temperature Control was a great company. Since being acquired by Tassio, not so much. A few years ago, I scheduled a service call, and waited at home for them, but they stood me up, explaining that an earlier appointment ran late. I recently decided to give them another try. Silly me. They didn't show up and said an earlier job was taking longer than expected, but they were still coming. Nope. They called at the end of the day to re-schedule which I did ONLY if they promised not to do this again. Fooled me twice - shame on me. Didn't show and when called, they said an earlier job was taking longer than expected. I cannot comment on their work other than to say that if all their appointments take hours longer than expected, perhaps I'm better off. I'm tempted to send them a bill for my time, but instead I'm writing this review to protect others from their complete lack of consideration. There are plenty of other HVAC service and repair companies. There's no need to subject yourself to this kind of unprofessional behavior. Big thumbs down and no option for the NO STARS they deserve. read more

Tassio is great when they are trying to get your business, then after payment, they turn into a whole different company. I wasn't going to review them, but I can't take the rudeness of the people that work there and feel that future customers should be warned. About 5 years ago I went with them for a whole A/C, furnace & new ductwork. The salesperson was great, the installers were nice (but botched part of the install, they left off a cap on the roof so rainwater went right in and dripped on the unit). I was promised 2 years of free service (2x per year). Just before the first service I changed the air filter myself and the tech threw out the new filter and charged me for one that he installed. The company offered me credit. The second tune-up was fine, then in winter the heater stopped working so I called it in and the person on the phone wanted to charge me for them to come out and look at it even though it was under warranty. They wouldn't come out until I paid their fee. The repair person fixed it and noticed that missing cap on the roof and admitted that it was an installation error. I called the company explained all my issues and the person I spoke to was super rude and tried to blame me and said "well you missed your last tune-up so it's your fault." What? When I told him that I was still waiting for my second year of free tune-ups, he said they don't do that. Unfortunately I miss placed my paperwork so I was out the second year of service and had to pay for a service call even though the service and parts were under warranty. That was it, I decided to not use them again. Fast forward to today (about 3 years later). They texted me and offered me a $59 tune -up, and against my better judgement, texted back agreeing to the tune-up. After texting back and forth for 20 minutes and scheduling a time, I got a phone call from a person at Tassio asking to schedule a time. When I said I already did that, she said oh I was texting their automated system that doesn't check their schedule and the time I selected wasn't available. So I said if they were using a system to schedule appointments that doesn't check the schedule, they should use a different system. Her response was over the top sarcastic, so I told her to just cancel the whole thing (I had hoped their company had changed, obviously not). Two minutes later she called back and said she talked to her supervisor and she agreed to send someone out at the originally scheduled time, so I asked to speak to the supervisor. I explained all of my issues and she cut me off, started talking over me and she asked me what I wanted (with more attitude). I said I was hoping she would give me a reason to stay with her company. All I heard was silence. So I told her to remove me from their list. This company has horrible customer service (after you give them your money). Beware. read more

We have used them for many, many years, but I think they might have changed owners (they used to just be Temperature Control) and it's not for the better. I scheduled an AC check for today. I made the appointment a week in advance so that I could clear my schedule. We set the appointment via text, and confirmed the 10-12 time slot. I have this in writing. The appointment was then confirmed via text yesterday...and I did not notice that they had the incorrect time listed (12-2). But it didn't matter because they called at 8:30 this morning to cancel my appointment. As another reviewer said...the company must have gotten a more lucrative job opportunity so they decided to cancel the appointment that I had planned my schedule around for a week. So if you want a company that will reliably show up when you have planned your day around them, look elsewhere. I also got a quote from them for a completely new AC system, and they wanted about double what others asked for. I miss the old Temperature Control. read more

Last year, I got an email asking if I wanted to check on my AC unit before summer. I made the appointment and the day before the appt, they cancelled it saying they had people who wanted AC units and just cancelled me instead since I guess they could make more money on others. This year they sent a text asking if I wanted the AC unit checked and since it got cancelled last year I said yes. I made the appointment from 12-2, as I had to pick up my kids. Technician didn't arrive till almost 2:30. It's unacceptable that they can continue treating me like trash and be so unprofessional that they disregard my time when I clear out my schedule for them.
