The worst service I've had in my life. Warning do not bother. [[HIGHLIGHT]]first thing I had an appointment they didn't answer the phone a month ago. Finally, I had to call back again. Leave another message talk to somebody they made an appointment and then they changed the appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was from 12 to 4. They didn't show up till about 3:45 PM when the guy gets here, I had already told them several times that there was roof access. I had spoken to the maintenance ahead of time roof access in a building. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Well, the guy sends a picture of a glass access with a brick on top and I told him there is a door he decides to not bother looking and just leaves does not come back to the unit does not say anything just leaves the job and I'm on the roof waiting and wondering what is going on they don't answer their cell phones.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They just don't even know How UPDATE AFTER BUSINESS RESPONSE Thank you for your response, but several key points in your reply are not accurate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The appointment was originally difficult to even schedule, as I had called and texted multiple times over the course of about a month with no response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I finally reached the owner, we agreed on a 12-4 PM window, which was later rescheduled by your team to the following day. Your technician arrived at approximately 3:45 PM, which is within the window, but what happened next is the issue. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Roof access was clearly communicated multiple times in advance and again in real time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] * I informed your team ahead of time that access was through Building A * I confirmed this with maintenance before your arrival * When your technician went to the wrong access point, I immediately texted and called explaining there was a standard door access in the same building These messages were ignored. Instead of making any effort to locate the correct door (which was nearby), your technician sent a photo of the wrong access point and then chose to leave. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was actively trying to reach him while physically at the correct access point, and even had a neighbor assist. There was no attempt to meet me, no knock on the door, and no communication that he was leaving.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I later saw on camera that he left around 3:57 PM -- meaning the total time on site was only about 10-11 minutes. I have ring video to prove this exact time Your response states that you could not proceed due to unsafe access and that you were asked to force entry. That is simply not true. At no point did I ask anyone to force entry -- I directed your technician to a normal, accessible door that he chose not to locate despite being told multiple times. This was not a safety issue. This was a lack of effort and communication. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Additionally, after multiple calls to your office during this time, I was told I would receive a call back, which never happened.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I understand things can go wrong on a job, but the way this was handled -- from lack of communication, to leaving without resolution, to misrepresenting the situation in your response -- is why I left my original review. I appreciate DT's honesty and workmanship. Our mini split A/C system was not cooling properly. I contacted DT and they were able to come out the same day to check it out. Upon first inspection, no issue was detected. However the issue persisted. DT had suggested that the unit may not be large enough for the area it was meant to cool. I proceeded with contacting them to replace the unit for a larger capacity unit. When DT came to deliver the new unit, they inspected again the existing unit and determined that a leek may be present. Instead of proceeding with installing the new unit, they determined that it was not necessary to replace and just needed to flush out the lines, Seal any leeks and tighten the connections. Now the A/C is cooling great! read more

Our A/C was blowing hot air. I initially called another company that wanted an hourly amount and couldn't come out for 3 days. My partner called DT late in the day, and they came out the next afternoon. Al and his assistant showed me where the problem was, fixed it, I had them clean the compressor, and they were on their way. The price was reasonable and the work was quick and efficient. Today the A/C was running for over 5 hours without turning off (the house cooled after a few hours but not reaching the correct temperature). Again, my partner called late in the day, and Al came out within 30 minutes, checked everything to discover the issue is in the ducting, without even charging the service charge again. First off, WOW. I chose DT heating because as Vet, I always try to support business that are owned or hire Vets. Albert responded to me within minutes of sending him a quote request in the evening. He was able to fit me in the next afternoon. He was very communicative and let me know what was needed to be serviced. Our AC unit is old and has a slow leak so he recommended we don't try to find the leak because it would cost too much. It's better to keep charging it ever few years until we can replace the entire unit. I appreciate his honesty and kindness during this inflated economy. I was a victim of vandalism. I had a transient come onto my property at midnight and turn on my water. She let my water run all night and it went right into my basement. Albert and his crew are consummate professionals, dedicated to helping you fix your problems in an honest, prompt, and kind fashion! Every year we'd have to have an AC person come out to look at our unit around fourth of July. Every year we were told "I just have to top you off with freon, but you have a small leak somewhere. It'll be cheaper for me to top you off than take apart the unit to find the leak." This year we called Albert who actually took the time to give us an honest opinion (he used nitrogen to test the backpressure in our unit, and found out there was actually no leak), AND took the time to see that our motor was wired into the "low" state (for no apparent reason). While he waited for a proprietary part to come in, he stayed in touch and never missed a beat. He didn't hold us responsible for the cost of the unused part and charged us a fair price for the labor and materials. While I don't hope to have to call an AC guy back anytime soon, if I do, I know it would be Albert. He is the kind of vendor that makes you never want to relocate because you found the best and can trash the rest! read more
