We found them to be thorough, incredibly affordable, and have delicious food. Their price was unbelievable and what they offered was unmatched. Deciding on them was an easy decision and even easier once we tried their food and found it to be great! We had the following: Chicken Marsala- everyone raved about this dish from the chicken not being dry and the sauce well-seasoned Roast beef- heard lots of good things in regards to it having excellent flavor Roasted red potatoes- these were a hit and very yummy Caesar salad- your standard Caesar but was well dressed Mixed green salad with cheese and fruit- just as good as the Caesar Sautéed veggie medley- this included zucchini and bell peppers which were perfectly seasoned and not mushy! The veggies were perfectly cooked and was something that I was fearful would be ruined cause it is hard to not overcook veggies in those serving trays! The meal also came with bread, water, and iced tea. We opted to order a fruit and cheese display for the cocktail hour. It was a selection of melons and everything seemed to look well presented. The fee we paid included the cost of a cake from Creative Cakes and for EA to cut and serve our guests. You can read my CC review but we had NO cake leftover! The servers were friendly and took care of everything. They came ready to get everything set up and we didn't have a single issue aside from one table saying that they wished they didn't take their plates so fast because they wanted more food! Hardly a "complaint!" I highly encourage anyone to check them out and use them for their catering needs...especially if you are getting married at The French Estate. The package and deal they offer is truly incredible and the two work together so very well!

Despite giving a month's notice, it took two weeks to get a quote. Initially quoted $10 per person, we expected to pay $400 for 40 people. Later, Raul, Bassel's assistant, said they couldn't do the date, but Bassel assured us he could, raising the price to $700. Despite agreeing to the higher cost, my daughter was ignored when trying to confirm details. Two days before the party, Bassel canceled, leaving my daughter very disappointed. The service was unprofessional and unreliable. We do not recommend Cham-ya Catering to anyone.

The food was packaged so beautifully and were ready for us when we'd come to pick them up. My guests always wanted to know where we go the food from. The best we tried was the chicken tuscany on croissants! I used to come here every so often to enjoy the Sunday brunch buffet. I have used her before for corporate event with a headcount of 300+ and it was always phenominal! This time we were needing catering for a Celebration Of Life for my wife's grandpa, It was small ~100 people. We wanted just appetizers, drinks and desserts. After selecting our appetizers, drinks and cupcakes we were sent the invoice. She included full service for two hours, she didn't want us to worry about anything. We have someone who is allergic to gluten and Carolina was more than accommodating. The day of service the caterers showed up EARLY!!!! How awesome! They were ready to go and I showed them where to set up and reminded them about the allergy. The display was amazing, it was so beautiful and more than we could ask for (pictures). The servers were on top of it, the food was being plated as people took it to make sure it was fresh (no chaffing dishes)! When the allergy plate needed to be made they changed thier gloves and went above and beyond to serve. We got rave reviews on the food from everyone! 10/10 for these guys! They are rock stars. It was served with salad, chicken fried rice, edamame and veggies. Plenty of food and so delicious! The company sent 3 employees. 2 chefs and 1 helper. They were so friendly and attentive. They set up quickly, the presentation looked wonderful, and all the guests had a really good time. I was nervous as I chose this company from looking online and didn't know anyone who had personally used them. I placed a $200 deposit and then they sent me a form to add in the details of the event, with final details (head count, allergies, etc.) due 10 days in advance. I never heard from them so I just sent it in. Which they acknowledged receiving. And then full payment is due 3 days before the event. Never heard from them. Two days before the event I had to reach out and ask for the invoice, which they promptly sent. I was nervous with the lack of communication although they always responded if I reached out. But they showed up early, surveyed the space in the backyard and figured out the table set up within the space available. One of the chefs did a lot of entertaining while cooking, where we noticed the second chef on the other grill didn't do as much. The helper was fantastic but I can see how the experience varies depending on the chef. The clean up was fast and thorough. There was zero clean up for us to do. We had a great experience and will absolutely use them again for special celebrations.
