I had a very disappointing experience with Emy's customer service. My 13-year-old son was denied access to the restroom, even though we were in line and about to make a purchase. When I spoke to her and explained that we were actively waiting to order, she insisted on seeing proof of purchase before allowing him to use the restroom. What made the situation worse was her attitude--she was dismissive and appeared to be laughing during the interaction, which felt very unprofessional and disrespectful. Today could have been a total disaster, but this team completely turned it around. I stopped by to grab drinks as a mid-day pick-me-up for my girlfriend and her coworkers. Just a small surprise to brighten their day. After loading everything into my trunk, I somehow managed to spill ALL of the drinks. It was one of those slow-motion, heart-sinking moments where you just stand there watching sticky tea and boba go everywhere. I walked back inside embarrassed and fully expecting to just reorder everything since it was 100% my mistake. Instead, the staff immediately met me with kindness and understanding. Without hesitation, they remade all of the drinks for me. On top of that, they even gave me towels to help clean up the mess in my car. They absolutely didn't have to do that, but they chose to. That kind of genuine care and customer service is rare. What could have been a frustrating and expensive mistake turned into a moment that honestly restored my faith in people. Tastea is great, this location has a self ordering kiosk, and cashier service. Be aware of that so if you see a line you'll know you have options :) there's also the Vietnamese food you can try in the same building. So it's a little loud sometimes as people eat there or you'll hear the kitchen and music etc. The employees here and nice and quick at making drinks. Took me a while to find my favorite drink here, to me it felt like any other boba shop until I tried their strawberry milk tea. Ooomg I'm obsessed and no where else's strawberry milk tea compares. What I ordered ~ Shark Bite is good & not too overly sweet or taste the energy drink in it. Which is what i love. You can't even notice the carbonation on the drink, the lychee has a hint to it and the strawberry. Really refreshing. ~ Green Mamba is also great. Got it for my teen son who's playing a tennis match. Took a sip and the mango added a great touch to the drink. Along w the mango poppin boba makes the drink yummier. Has a subtle taste of the orange flavor n peel on top. Also highly recommended. These new drinks are new and good during the summer. ~ Peach Mee Sweetea is a must and usual for mee. Never disappoints and it's so refreshing. I ask for 75% sweetness. So they add more black tea to even it out. Really good still and not too sweet. Love the small dives of peaches, mango bits in my drink. I wish they would have Food here meaning their yummy karate Chicken aka Popcorn chicken. My favorite drink spot ! I order on the app and less than 10 mins later my drinks are ready ! I love how they use real friend and put chunks of the fruit in the drinks ! Before vs Recent... I haven't had Tastea in a while and I was craving their Strawberry Matcha, a drink I used to order often during my study days. I'm not sure what happened, if the recipe or ingredients changed, maybe the employee didn't put too much effort into it, but this might be the worst drink I've ever had. The drink looked like swamp water, the matcha was so grainy and bitter. It was heavy and chunky with every sip. Ignore the ceremonial grade matcha description and do not order this. I included a photo I took a year ago of what the drink used to look like, I'm disappointed. We did order a Tiger Milk Tea for my dad and he seemed to like it. I couldn't even taste the tea at all because it was basically all sugar and syrup in water. I also got a Vietnamese coffee, no ice to go and the legit just filled half the cup. Didn't expect them to fill the whole thing but at least make it look full-ish! The coffee was pretty decent but again, way too sweet with too much creamer. I'm very glad I changed my sweetness from 50% to less sweet, because it was still quite sweet with the addition of boba to the drink. My friends drink was also delicious, fruity with mango chunks. The server was patient and friendly and the drinks were served almost immediately. The default is a nondairy creamer, but there are other nondairy options, such as oat milk available for an additional charge. I love tastea the best boba shop HANDS DOWN. I have been to tastea near my OC area. I introduce my boyfriend to this place and he is literally obsessed with it. Their menu has good eats, drink jugs, featured menu, specialteas, coffee simple teas, slushy, and smoothies. I recommend their slushy and teas. Today, my boyfriend got the lychee freeze and I got the strawberry ecstasy. I personally had both of these drinks and I love them since those two are my go to drinks. My boyfriend loved the lychee freeze it was pack with lychee flavor, boba was soft and chewy, and jelly was soft. He would give this drink a 5/5 and his only go to order. I got the strawberry ecstasy and it was delicious, great aroma of strawberry tea, and grass jelly was smooth. I would give this drink a 5/5 as well. I also try their free sample jasmine oreo milk tea and it was okay, and it reminded me a cookies & cream moment. I would give it a 3/5 since I don't like milk tea in Oreos. The service was fast & the employee is so nice and friendly. The store has a great atmosphere, spacious, and clean. This Tastea is one of the best ones in OC! It's connected to the THH Banh Mi shop which it makes it super convenient to grab drinks and food at the same time. There's a decent amount of parking spaces here. The staff here are very nice and welcoming. Wifey and I have been trying all of their new drinks and the Matcha A Go Go with matcha and mango is definitely a hit! We came here on a Friday night and service was quick! I got the tiger milk tea and I loved it! The quality of the boba is excellent and it has just the right amount of sweetness and chewiness to it. The milk tea was delicious as well. The shop itself is spacious and it's shared with a Vietnamese restaurant. There are a few tables on the side if you want to sit and enjoy your drink but I'd imagine the seating gets very limited during busy hours of the day. It was also pretty dark inside, but I'm not sure if it was because the Vietnamese restaurant was already closed when we were there. Tastea was supposed to be my staple boba place, but I was deeply disappointed on my latest Tastea midnight boba run around the corner of the block. On this visit, I ordered the matcha strawberry - a drink made with ceremonial grade matcha poured over oat milk and topped with real strawberry bits. Sounds fancy, was not in reality. The supposed ceremonial matcha tasted like Costco's Sencha Matcha Green Tea Powder that was prepared on a whim with large matcha chunks not only on the bottom of the drink but all throughout. I love that you can customize the sweetness and ice levels. I've been to this location a few times. The workers are friendly, the boba is cooked perfectly, and my drinks have not disappointed. Such great service. The lady took our order was very small but sure does have a very charming, loud and sarcastic voice. Don't know what happens to her that force her to speak that loud in such small space which make it felt kinda like being in an interrogation room :). The person that picked up answered promptly and I was relieved that they'd still be open. I ordered my usual favorite, the peach me sweet tea.
