Service: Came here on New Year's Day and wouldn't come back. Theres so many other boba places in the area that I would rather support. Walked in and was not greeted by any of the workers (there was no line and no one else in there) so my boyfriend and I stood there chatting with each other. The worker finally came up and gave a bunch of attitude and acted like we were interrupting her day. Told her we had a pick up order and she pointed us to the pick up area. It was our first time here so I didn't know to go straight to that section. We walked over, picked it up and then left. She never said another word to us. This is my least favorite Tastea location. The food and drinks are not as good as other locations. The drinks were ok, the boba was hard, and the popcorn chicken was salty. Also, check your order to make sure it's correct before leaving. I've been here about 3 times now. It's a new location so maybe they will improve or not? Today 10/26, I placed an order on the Tastea app and went to pick it up. There was no customer when I arrived and only two employees working or chitchatting. I tried to call them to get their attention but no luck since both of them were facing the wall (one of them had water running and busy chitchatting with the other employee). Finally, a third employee walked in and saw me waiting at the pick up area. He called one of the employees name to get his attention, but he still didn't hear him so the third employee had to walk over to get his attention. Anyways, that is fine with me. However, when I got home, my popcorn chicken didn't come with the weak sauce or the stick/skewer. How am I supposed to eat? With my hand? Great drink offerings ! Non-dairy menu here, which is awesome since I'm lactose intolerant. I like the matcha green tea latte (both hot and iced) & the Jasmine green tea iced with boba. The cafe shares the unit with a Vietnamese restaurant but they each have their own bathroom. Service can be hit or miss, and the cleaning crew can do a better cleaning job... Best customer service out of all the Tasteas I've been to. Came in to order a drink near closing time on a Thursday and when it was served, the manager, David noticed that it was slightly on the bitter side since I chose less sweet. He offered to make me another one and even gave me a sample to try before he gave me the new one. Now that is 5 star service. Other boba shops seriously need to take note or steal the Tastea manager. 3.5 stars i've been here a couple of times and for some reason the service isn't the greatest. i came here recently to try the new holiday drinks: caramel craze and chillin mocha. the drinks were super sweet so i recommend adjusting the levels to either medium or lite sweet. they tasted good nonetheless. aside from that, when i came in i wasn't greeted by any of the workers on the floor and as i proceeded to place an order, the person at the register seemed pretty rude. i'll give them the benefit of the doubt because it was kind of the end of the day and they were about to close. i was also there to pick up an order and noticed after that they forgot to add boba. i wished they were more on top of it for future instances. the store is overall super cute! it was decked out with christmas decorations for the holiday season. i just hope they better their customer service by welcoming people that come in with a "hi, welcome!" and make sure their orders are correct. read more

Their staffs wear mask, requires customers to wear masks and social distancing is enforced with stickers/labels all over the store. Most of all, their staffs are amazing and friendly. They have a huge selection of drinks from milk teas, coffee drinks, smoothies to slushy freeze drinks. In a span of two days after learning about this place, I've tried their Cantaloupe Crush drink, Peach Me Sweetea and Sunset Peach. I LOVED ALL OF THEM but between the 3, my favorite would be their Cantaloupe Crush drink. Definitely a must try!!! read more

I just found a piece of plastic in my drink today. I'm absolutely appalled at this. I've never had instance where plastic was found in my drinks whenever I would come here. Thankfully the worker who gave me the drink offered to give me a free drink and it was a bit uncomfortable. Honestly I can't believe I spend $9 on that. I placed an order through the app and realized I added an extra sample I didn't want. I tried to cancel it but the app said to call the store. Called the store and they said they aren't able to cancel, when I KNOW it is possible as I've done this at other stores before. I tried explaining to the cashier what had happened, and it just didn't seem like a refund was possible here and not worth the hassle. I ended up taking the drinks (but was missing the sample that I still ended up paying for btw). The drinks were made really good, but I would just suggest that staff know how to handle app cancellations in the future. read more

This used to be my go-to spot when I lived in the area. My all time favorite is the peach me freezie! I tried there matcha milk tea which was so silky and creamy. Its hard for me to stray from my peach me freezie but it was so good I might have to switch it up next time. I also tried their matcha coffee which was good as well but I prefer the sweet tea. I suggest ordering on the app while you are on your way to pick it up. It has always been ready for me by the time I get there with no waits. Everyone who works there is so friendly. We came home to realize that they did NOT in fact give us a Vietnamese coffee as a replacement, but a mysterious pink drink that isn't consumable since 1) we do not know what it is 2) it doesn't have any label. Tastea is a solid boba chain all over Cali. They're most known for their peach me sweet tea and boo tea shaker. I personally love their milk teas here specially the horchata MT. Topped with sea foam and cinnamon toast crunch goodness. I appreciate that Tastea has "wellness" options where you can sub for stevia and of course your non dairy options. This location is adjunct to THH. So go ahead and get a bahn mi sandwich to go perfectly with your boba drink. Also make sure to sign up for their rewards program to get alerted for their deals! The workers make this a cool place. As I was waiting for my drinks to be made (which took quite awhile) one of the workers started a conversation with me and she was very chill and funny. They usually hire young, cool, fun, enthusiastic people here and they really make the experience better. I got this drink in medium sweet level and it was still very very sweet. There was definitely a lot of cream but it tasted like heavy cream to me. In a way I felt like I was just drinking cold milk with heavy cream and added sugar. I wouldn't get this drink again especially since they have a better horchata blend. Watermelon Heaven: I also tried the watermelon heaven with no added sweetness and it was delicious! The watermelon is already nice and sweet and it is very refreshing for the summer.
