All the Boba drinks are delicious & the staff are all friendly and helpful. My grandkids love it

I am a regular that averages 6 drinks per week year round. I don't understand why there is a consistent issue with incorrect and improperly made drinks. This is the only establishment/business i have ever been to with this insanely high level of poor inconsistency. One in five drinks are made grossly incorrect. I am tired of this. I will not be returning. Wushiland is down the street. Their drinks might not be better when tastea makes its drink properly but atleast it's consistent. Tastea has become just terrible. Edit: i ordered a light sweet peach me sweet tea but it definitely is full sweet. I get it 90% of the time. It is quite obviously made incorrectly. read more

Asked for less ice and I get this much less in my drink because they don't top off the drink. The worker said it's because the empty space would be filled with ice. Mind you, the classic milk tea has regular ice, yet it barely has the same ice. Oh and topping off the drink will cost about the same as boba. Doubt that I'll come back to this location unfortunately. read more

Consistent with their other locations! Tastea is one of our favorite boba franchises because their drinks are super fresh and flavorful. Their menu is the same as all their other places and we've never had any problems with our drinks. I highly recommend any of their Specialteas since they come with fresh fruit! * Passion Attraction: 9/10 - fresh and comes with coconut jelly * Bootea Shaker: 10/10 - refreshing and the black jelly is a nice addition * Matcha Milk Tea: 8/10 - decent matcha flavor * Honey Boba (Topping): 10/10 - soft and chewy * Crystal Boba (Topping): 9/10 - good but portion was small The interior is spacious and they offer a couple of tables and benches to sit at. The shop itself is located in a plaza with Stater Bros so parking should be pretty easy considering there are always people going in and out. The workers were nice but took a while to make our drinks even though we were the only ones in the shop. I ordered delivery and got The popcorn chicken bowl with corn and furikake rice - which was good and liked that. I did not care for the 32 oz matcha strawberry. It was so bland towards the second half. I loved loved the chamango and wished that's the one I got the 32 oz instead of the 20. I would order from here again. read more

I love a Peach Me Sweetea (has peach and strawberry bits in black tea). This location has fast service. Staff is always quick to greet you and take your order. There's an outside window for mobile order pickups. There are tables with bench seating and stools inside. There are a few outlets near the seating but not all tables have access to the outlet. The tables also have purse hooks (always a plus). read more

Stopped in for a treat after dinner and had a great experience at Tastea in Costa Mesa! I ordered the Tiger Milk Tea (medium sweet), and my partner went with a Strawberry Tea with honey boba (full sweet). I decided to try something new this time, and while it wasn't my favorite, it was a good tea. Next time, I've got my eye on the Coconut Blueberry Smoothie - it looked amazing, but I didn't see the sign until after I ordered! They also have a few food options on the menu, and I'm definitely going to try the ranch flavor fries on my next visit. Service was quick, and there was plenty of staff on hand, which kept the line moving. I also appreciate that they're open late and have both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for a late-night hangout or grabbing a tea before your class at Orange Coast College. Tastea shops are usually designed the same with a half wood wall and seats but it still cute place for people to have a seat and drink their boba. The staff were nice and really quick to make our drinks. We ordered a Thai milk tea and horchata crunch. I absolutely LOVE horchata crunch and go back for this particular drink. It usually has a smoothie like texture of horchata with Cinnamon Toast Crunch as a topping. I did rate it lower because the consistency was more watered down but still enjoyed it! read more

One of our favorite spots for boba - simply because of the Honeydew option. So good and very few places have it currently and this is our now go to spot each time! Love the different varieties of milk tea they have here. Mango Milk Tea and Strawberry Milk Tea were the drinks that stood out to me. Here the Strawberry milk tea actually has tea in it as in some places it's just strawberry milk from what I have tasted. The boba here were fresh and chewy and even my nephew gave it a thumbs up. If you're craving some snack as well they serve chicken and fries and some other items as well. They have nice inside seating area that is air conditioned well specially for a hot day. Both the Mango and Strawberry Milk Tea tastes great. I had my tea at 75% sweetness and it felt like just the right amount of sweet. Staff was friendly and attentive which is a great thing these days. I was in the area and wanted milk tea and of course I had to check Yelp before trying a new place and Tastea got good reviews so I decided to check it out. Tastea is located in the Stater Bros shopping center on the corner of Baker & Fairview. What I immediately noticed as I parked and walked up is that it is really set up for the pandemic where you order inside (or online) and then collect your order from a window outside. They even have a little refrigerator right next to the pick up window. I went with my daughters and I ordered my usual Jasmine Milk tea, cold but no ice and add honey boba. My daughters each got a smoothie with honey boba. We all liked the Strawberry Bananza smoothie A LOT. Honestly I think their smoothies are better than their milk teas! The Mango All the Way smoothie with mango, mango chunks and raspberries was also good but not as good as the Strawberry Bananza Smoothie. As for me I actually did not like my Jasmine Milk Tea with boba. To be honest, I didn't even finish it (which is a rarity!). The reason why I didn't like it was because I couldn't taste any of the Jasmine green tea - all I could taste was the milk and it was very creamy. I thought it was ironic that this store is named Tastea when all I tasted was milk and not any tea! Also what I didn't like was that it cost $20 + tip for only 3 drinks and I think that is a bit steep in price so it'd better be delicious and the Strawberry Banana smoothie was worth it but not the other 2 drinks. At $6.80 the Strawberry Banana (Bananza) Milkshake with boba was the most expensive, followed by the Mango Smoothie with boba $6.55 and then lastly my Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba costing $6.00. The order of price also corresponded to the order of taste with the most expensive drink tasting the best in my opinion. One other interesting thing to note was that the honey boba was green! The employees are friendly and I see the ease of ordering online and picking up at the window outside. If I was craving a drink while shopping in that center I would totally buy the Strawberry Bananza (aka Strawberry/Banana) Smoothie again because it was delicious but with so many tasty milk tea places in the area I would for sure pass on Tastea for milk tea because I literally couldn't taste the tea! read more

I've ordered a couple times here and drinks are made to perfection. I also did mobile ordering here sometimes as well and drinks are made fast! Menu is easy to read and staff gives recommendations base on what you like. I love getting the karate chicken here as well. They make it consistent every time. Service is fast and easy. Food takes a bit longer to come out but it's tastea. I love the strawberry drinks and avocado avalanche. Not all locations have the chilling mocha on the menu but they still offer it. Love that they have Stevia as a sweetener . It has no bad after taste it tastes so good I can barely tell specially because I'm always avoiding sugar being an actress and a Nutritionist . I always order a passionfruit green tea and you'd be surprised how much this simple drink can vary between locations but this one always gets it right. Not too sweet and the tea isn't astringent. Mee & my hubby got out free samples of my Fav refreshing drink. Peach Me Sweetea but with Stevia was being offered on the app for the new year.1.02.23 I don't really care for the stevia edition. My fav is the original Peach me sweetea. It's a black tea with strawberry & peach bits. Really refreshing. The Hot matcha milk tea sample was good. They have an ipad kiosk for you to order off of if you're paying card. I like that the kiosk was able to handle substitutions. We also tried their food - the popcorn chicken was a miss for me. The "mild" had no spice to it at all. And this is coming from someone who is spice sensitive. The fry seasoning was good though! I'd come back for that.
