We had lunch nearby in this same center and wanted something sweet to complement our savory meal. They have a large variety of teas, coffees, slushies, and smoothies on their menu. They also offer hot foods such as fries and popcorn chicken. The staff person was patient as we took a good look at the menu. We chose the Chamango and Lychee Peachee. We waited outside and they have a little window for us to pick up our order. We enjoyed our drinks!!

Consistent with their other locations! Tastea is one of our favorite boba franchises because their drinks are super fresh and flavorful. Their menu is the same as all their other places and we've never had any problems with our drinks. I highly recommend any of their Specialteas since they come with fresh fruit! * Passion Attraction: 9/10 - fresh and comes with coconut jelly * Bootea Shaker: 10/10 - refreshing and the black jelly is a nice addition * Matcha Milk Tea: 8/10 - decent matcha flavor * Honey Boba (Topping): 10/10 - soft and chewy * Crystal Boba (Topping): 9/10 - good but portion was small The interior is spacious and they offer a couple of tables and benches to sit at. The shop itself is located in a plaza with Stater Bros so parking should be pretty easy considering there are always people going in and out. The workers were nice but took a while to make our drinks even though we were the only ones in the shop. Nevertheless, it's still one of our favorite boba shops in the area and we can't wait to come back! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area and want some fresh boba drinks!

I ordered delivery and got The popcorn chicken bowl with corn and furikake rice - which was good and liked that. I did not care for the 32 oz matcha strawberry. It was so bland towards the second half. I loved loved the chamango and wished that's the one I got the 32 oz instead of the 20. I would order from here again.

Got here and there was no one but the people working wouldn't take our order, and we would make eye contact and it was so awkward lol. But we ordered and everything was okay, the area was nice. There were people there, sitting outside. They do have seats inside and outside, we didn't stay but I ordered my go to. Love Tastea in general.

Tastea shops are usually designed the same with a half wood wall and seats but it still cute place for people to have a seat and drink their boba. The staff were nice and really quick to make our drinks. We ordered a Thai milk tea and horchata crunch. I absolutely LOVE horchata crunch and go back for this particular drink. It usually has a smoothie like texture of horchata with Cinnamon Toast Crunch as a topping. I did rate it lower because the consistency was more watered down but still enjoyed it!

Was craving some boba! Did a search on Yelp and the rest is history. Tastea popped up with lots of boba drink options. I ordered the Mango all the way with boba. I enjoyed it. It was fruity and delicious. The boba was chewy and yummy. My partner ordered the tiger milk tea with boba. He didn't like his. I tried a sip of it and it tasted kind of bland/ boring. Maybe it needed something else added? Tiger milk tea with boba 7/10 Mango all the way with boba 10/10

Uhhh YUMMYYYY!!! I got the lychee freeze, (my go to) and it did not disappoint. It came with lychee jelly and I added boba. It was everything I wanted and more lol. There was no shortage of jelly and boba too. You do have to order yourself on the kiosk.

One of our favorite spots for boba - simply because of the Honeydew option. So good and very few places have it currently and this is our now go to spot each time! Great flavor and price for a good amount! The chicken has great flavor and definitely recommend adding some heat to it! Thank you - please keep honeydew!

Oh my god! So in love with the drinks they gave me, my boyfriend and my friend. Want to give a shout out to Jun for being a great barista!

Love the different varieties of milk tea they have here. Mango Milk Tea and Strawberry Milk Tea were the drinks that stood out to me. Here the Strawberry milk tea actually has tea in it as in some places it's just strawberry milk from what I have tasted. The boba here were fresh and chewy and even my nephew gave it a thumbs up. If you're craving some snack as well they serve chicken and fries and some other items as well. They have nice inside seating area that is air conditioned well specially for a hot day. Both the Mango and Strawberry Milk Tea tastes great. I had my tea at 75% sweetness and it felt like just the right amount of sweet. Staff was friendly and attentive which is a great thing these days. Definitely recommend and honestly the drinks were much better than I expected.

Are the fried shrimp gluten free?

Which Creamer has the least amount of calories? Non-dairy, oat milk, whole milk, etc..I am always looking for ways to reduce the calories in my milk teas. Does the non-dairy creamer already have sugar in it?

Hi Sinette, thanks for your inquiry. Our almond milk would have the least amount of calories. Yes, our non-dairy creamer does have some added sugars as well. We hope this helps! :)

Anything vegan? Can the matcha milk tea be vegan? Is the boba vegan?

Hi Magaly, yes the matcha milk tea can be completely vegan is you substitute the dairy with almond or the oat milk that we offer. Boba is vegan as well because it is made with tapioca starch.

    Best drink to get?

Hi Katherine! We offer many varieties of drinks. We are best known for our Peach Me Sweetea! It is a peach and strawberry black tea with bits of both!

Does the house milk tea use a dairy free creamer?

They can use the have options

Is the almond milk tea good here?

    Yes! I love it!

Is there a lavender milk tea?

Hi Kelsey! Our lavender milk tea is a seasonal drink and is currently not offered at this time. We are hoping to have it again sometime soon :) We hope this helps!

Are there any spicy or salty drinks? Thanks

We have our Salted Cream Jasmine Iced Tea! :)

Does their matcha Thai milk tea taste close to seaside bakery? Thank you

Our Matcha Thai Milk Tea tastes a bit different than the one from Seaside. Only way to find out is to come on in and try one! :)

Salty Horse is an Experience, & I Understand The Appeal…read more I find myself coming back to Salty Horse for the great ambiance and quality drinks. I came shortly after they opened on a Saturday and they had a line as per usual. It's always a crowd here! But, it feels trendy and charming. They have a seasonal menu and a concrete menu. On my two visits, I ordered the Dessert Glaze with whole milk ($7.50) and the Straight from Kyoto ($7.50) with maple walnut milk. Both drinks I ordered were $7.50 and the price doesn't include tax, so I paid ~$8 in total per drink. They don't add too much ice, so you get a good amount. The Dessert Glaze wasn't very memorable, but I really enjoyed their matcha with the maple walnut milk! The taste was similar to a hazelnut creamer, and the drink wasn't too sweet because their matcha is very strong and full-bodied. My friend ordered the Arnold Palmer, and it was kind of watery so I wouldn't recommend their lemonades. The drinks can take a while depending on how busy they are, but whether you can find a table or sit at the bar, there's usually somewhere to sit. The ambiance here is great, with a bathroom, trendy decor, and a community-feel. It has been hot lately, and they don't run AC, however. So, be mindful of that. We didn't try any food, but it honestly looked amazing. Some cafes make you feel a certain way, and I think Salty Horse has that it factor where you want to come bring your friends for brunch or a quick drink. It's simply a nice place to be. Parking can be tough but it neighbors a residential area, so street parking is available.

The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. Inside is a café inspired by natural accents with an industrial flair giving a rustic character with modern style. The vibe inside is chill with plenty of seating for groups or singles. They have an expansive list of coffee, tea, and lattes with several modifiers to choose from. To accompany your drink the menu provides options of sandwiches, bagels, and a variety of pastries. I had the smoked salmon bagel, featuring delicate slices of salmon layered over cream cheese spread, topped with capers and fresh chives. This is my go to for coffee houses that offer it. The bagel exceeded my expectations and I believe the chive's subtle flavor complemented the smoked salmon really well. For drinks we tried the chai and hot chocolate. The iced chai latte was smooth and not too sweet with a dusting of cinnamon on top, but I would rate it average in taste. The hot chocolate was deliciously velvety and detailed beautifully. I would rate it a five out of five! The difference at this coffee shop is that you can choose from a range of seating arrangements and have an opportunity to support the business by picking up clothing, a bag of coffee or other merchandise. The con for this coffee shop is that the beverages are somewhat undersized relative to the price point. In addition, the customer service experience fell short. We were greeted upon entering, but it was unclear where customers should retrieve their order or whether orders numbers were called out. With that said, those looking for a quiet morning coffee or a cozy place to catch up with friends, this spot can accommodate.

Despite being relatively close to two major colleges - OCC and UCI - this place wasn't as crowded as you'd imagine it would be. They serve coffee, matcha, breakfast foods like breakfast burritos, protein bowls, avocado toasts - but I didn't pick anything to eat since I already had lunch. I shared with the barista that it was my first time here, and he asked what type of drink I was looking for. I told him something iced and caffeinated - and he mentioned his favorite was the Honey Cinnamon Latte - which I opted for - iced, with oat milk. Total was $8.50 including tip. My iced Honey Cinnamon Latte was yummy, creamy, and fantastic! With the oat milk substitute, it sorta tasted like Cinnamon Toast Crunch in liquid coffee form. It wasn't overly sweet, definitely had a nice kick to it - love this recommendation by the barista! I checked out the rest of the space and used their restroom to wash my hands - it's really a neat space here. Lots of seating. Lots of space. Some of the other reviews mentioned no a/c - which had me worried considering we were having a bit of a heatwave lately - but to my pleasant surprise, A/C was on and cold! It was a great escape from the heat. Free wifi - fast enough for a zoom call if you need to hop into one - my speedtest reported download speeds of 17.5MB/s Restroom is clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking - of course, I stopped by a little after 2pm, so already avoiding the tail end of the lunch rush. Only downside is they close kinda early - 4pm - but open up at 7am. Great spot! I'm curious to try their matcha the next time I'm here, as well as possibly their breakfast burritos, since photos for that looks delicious.

Overall, I'd recommend this place and will return again.

It's been here a while, which as probably helped, and it doesn't fall into that design trap of being overly minimal or whatever. It's warm and inviting, but at the same time, it's not a place I would consistently stay at for my personal taste. I feel like because it's well-established, that's not a problem. I enjoy how they don't take themselves so seriously for a 3rd wave specialty spot.
