Saw this spot pop up when looking for coffee shops and thought to give it a try! There's a good variety of drinks so there's something for everyone here. I got the Earl Grey Matcha since I hadn't seen many places with that mix of flavors so got curious how it would taste. I would probably get it less sweet next time, but the flavors worked well together with the earl grey aftertaste from each sip. Also tried their einspanner, and that cream is thiiiick. After stirring it up, the drink did get more balanced, but also leaned towards the sweet end. We also got two pastries: spinach, bacon and cheese croissant and a guava mascarpone bun. This is a hidden gem as they serve what my wife called perfection in a cup with just house coffe with heavy cream. The experience built from their with the friendly staff and excellent service. They first produced the ham cheese jalapeño croissant that was delicate and the jalapeño had just enough pizzazz that it complimented the flaky crust and the ham and cheese were superb. I visited here late on a weekday afternoon, a half hour before their 4pm closing time. I ordered an Einspanner and chose a blueberry pastry from the small number of offerings still left at the end of their day. There are a couple of tables inside and a couple outside but I chose to sit at the window counter. The pastry was fresh and berry delicious (a nice surprise considering it was near closing time). The Einspanner was perfection. They serve it iced. A vanilla latte made with strong espresso (a couple shots I think) and a sweet cream on top...so good! Iced Shaken Espresso, adding my choice of brown sugar syrup (3/5): slightly disappointed since I've had delicious shaken espressos that were filled to the top of the cup before. This one kinda missed the mark for me, especially since it wasn't really brown sugary enough. The large amount of ice diluted the drink quickly, and since it wasn't very sweet or strongly flavored to begin with, I was left with a watery coffee. Maybe someone who orders americanos might like it. I'm split on service since the first time I went, the female staff were quite busy and showed it through their right-down-to-business attitude and rushed movements. The second time, it was a more relaxed environment, and they were friendly and accommodating. I understand things can get stressful during busy times, though. At least they're knowledgeable about the menu and are quick and accurate when making drinks.
