Amazingly, beautiful location I adore walking through the entire area. The artwork and installations are beautiful nook has amazing drinks. Their pastries are super good and the workers are always really nice. Absolutely recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

This is such a cute spot! Honey oat latte was delicious (I'm not normally a coffee drinker, and I couldn't stop taking a sip from my hubbys cup!) Tiny store with not much seating options Free parking Very quick service Highly recommend!

Nook is located in the Lab Anti-Mall, and while I was there I just watched the line stretch all the way into the parking lot, so expectations were high. Got two drinks but they were a bit of a mixed experience. Both had quite a bit of ice, which diluted them more than I would've liked in a short period of time. The Island Matcha stood out in a good way, offering a nice level of complexity and balanced flavor. The hojicha latte with whole milk, however fell short. It tasted watered down, lacked the deep roasted aroma you'd expect from hojicha, and ultimately came across as somewhat flavorless. Given the long wait, I was hoping for a bit more consistency and depth in the drinks.

3 words. Coastline Cold Brew. I'll be back for that. Just the perfect amount of sweet macadamia nut and coconut added to an oat-y cold brew. Perfect for a beautiful day. I've also enjoyed the Spanish latte from here. It's delicious. The vibes here are trendy and chill. I love the orange accents and how Nook embraces the area it's in. It feels very earthy and grounded.

Third time visit to the The LAB Anti-Mall and we been wanting to try this coffee shop, and today was the day finally lol. There was a line out the door but not so bad. Service was good, and the coffee was actually good. So happy we finally made it in. The place is small not much seating, but there is plenty of outdoor seating and space.

Great coffee spot here at the LAB anti-mall! Plenty of parking, service is nice and friendly, and the place itself is hip, and the coffee is solid! We tried their matcha latte and Spanish latte and both were good, and we just enjoyed walking around the LAB!

Ambiance was chill and subtle inside but the outside is more fun to enjoy I think. Went for an event and it was so much fun!

Tucked away in The Lab is where you'll find this great little coffee shop. And by little, I mean it's pretty small with just a couple of tables inside. It can get a little claustrophobic when it's busy but it's a cute shop and the vibes are good. They serve a little of everything including coffee drinks, organic tea, matcha and lemonade. They also have pastries if you're hungry. I just needed a refreshing drink so I ordered a Strawberry Lemonade ($5.50). I could see them making it and it came with an aesthetic garnish. It was well made and not too sweet or sour. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their matcha drinks when I need some caffeine.

Cute little corner spot with lots of light from the floor to ceiling windows. Very friendly staff who take their time to get your order right, while at the same time getting the drinks out fast They have an extensive menu and the drinks we had were all delicious.

** I'd give this spot a 3.5 stars. Was in the area so I decided to try the spot out since it's been on my list for a while now. Parking is shared, so it can get pretty difficult for an open spot, depending on time and day. Their space is cute with a good amount of seating to wait for your drinks and the shared outdoor seating space for tables. Service was also friendly and quick! Got the Strawberry Matcha Latte with regular milk. It's a basic drink that is decently done. There's no visible strawberry puree or syrup because they mix it when they make it. Matcha was smooth, tasted both matcha and strawberry that's well-balanced, but it is also subtle and not too sweet. I was happy with it! Overall, nice spot with decent variety of drinks for an average price. Service is pleasant and friendly. I do think that their specialty is more with coffee, so I'd like to stop by to try their coffee options if I ever get the chance again. A good choice for a caffeine stop!

Cute small coffee shop. The seating arrangement has changed since I'd been here last: the limited counter top seating no longer exists; instead, upon entering, both sides along the front window offer corner bench seating with a couple of small moveable tables; two 2-person tables are outside, as well as a variety of attractive communal seating areas within The Lab. Tasty coffees. Even if one dines-in, all coffee beverages are served in disposable cups; reusable cups are only available when ordering their Espresso and Cortado. Friendly staff.

Parking was a bit of a pain especially on a busy weekend and there was a short wait out the door when we went (Saturday afternoon). Our drinks came out quick and the service was good. I got an extra shot in my latte and it wasn't too strong so i felt like the latte would've been pretty sweet without it. My friend got the Spanish Latte which wasn't bad but the cinnamon was too over powering. I think I'd come back but probably make adjustments to my drink

Ask the Community - Nook Coffee Bar

Is this cafe a good studying spot (with wifi, welcomed to stay for a long-ish time)?

Yes! The lab has a lot of outdoor seating around Nook too. There's free wifi access there. Have fun!

Do you guys carry Onyx coffee beans, specifically Geometry? If so, how much is a 14oz box? Thanks.

Do you guys sell bags of matcha?

    We sell 80g tin / Traditional $35.00

Does anyone know if they use Oatly for their oatmilk? I think I saw Califia cartons in pictures.

I went yesterday and I saw Califia carton as they were making my matcha oat milk latte.

Is this place good for studying?

Yes it is! The Lab Anti Mall where we are located has a large selection of outdoor seating with tables and free WiFi.

Do they have plugs for outdoor seating?

Not right outside the place, but there's more tables in the middle of The Lab area where you can find a plug!

Is there any healthy coffee and food options here and what are they?

    Yes.

Does anyone know if they use Oatly for their oat milk?

I went yesterday and they had oat milk! I had oat milk latte and was super super delicious.

There is limited parking but the lot was mostly empty when I visited at 8am on a weekday. I was greeted with a smile upon entry and I got in a line of about 8 people. The line would whittle down rather quickly but then would go right back up to about 8, back & forth, during the entire time I was there. Only 2 gals were working but they were like a machine, taking orders and cranking out drinks in a perfectly synchronized barista ballet. I ordered a large hot Spanish latte and chose a chocolate croissant from the pastry case. I declined having the pastry warmed as the chocolate gets melty and gooey-messy all over my hands. She informed me that the latte would have 4 shots of espresso unless I wished otherwise, but I was ready for a good case of coffee jitters. The interior is very small with 6 two-tops crammed together and a window counter with 5 or so chairs. I sat at a table. The latte was perfectly made, served at immediate drinking temperature, with a great quality coffee and a cinnamon flavor that was exactly the right strength. The croissant was fresh with plenty of chocolate inside. By the time I finished it, I looked like a three-year-old; my lips were smeared with chocolate. This was an excellent pastry. I'm rarely in this area (my mechanic is a couple blocks away which is the main reason I was here) but this coffee place is definitely now on my map for a return visit in the future.

Got both the hot latte with 2% milk (12 oz) and iced latte with 2% milk + house made vanilla (12 oz). The house made vanilla was good, nothing special but did not have that artificial, alcohol-y taste you sometimes get from the store bought syrups. The drinks, however, tasted more milk than espresso forward. Not my personal preference but if you like your drinks on the milkier side this is probably better suited for your tastes. The flavor of the espresso was fine but I personally would have preferred to add a min additional shot or two for a more coffee forward taste, even with just the plain latte.
