I was sooooo overjoyed to finally find a Tastea in my hometown. I don't have to drive far away to finally have this. To be honest, this was my first time trying them and it did not disappoint. They have a pretty extensive menu so it can be overwhelming at first. I settled on the Strawberry Ecstatea and it was delicious. It came with herbal jelly. You can also adjust the sweetness. I also find it interesting that their honey boba is green. They have too many great drinks on the menu, I will definitely be back and try their other drinks. Tastea is inside of LBX shopping center so you won't be able to see it from the street. Regardless it's a nice place to take a stroll so I recommend it. Parking is ok here since it's a pretty popular area there are tons of people who go. You might need to take a small walk or might get lucky and park right up front. I don't typically like boba because it's just too sweet & I don't wanna drink my calories, but I LOVE Tastea (Ask my friends. They'll tell you it's true). That being said, I was overjoyed when I heard that there'd be a Tastea opening up in my hometown of Long Beach! I waited... forever because the opening date kept getting pushed further and further out. But finally, the doors of Tastea LB opened for its soft opening! Tastea LB has only been open for three (??) days, but everything is awesome. Back again for more. This place is great and the vibe is always welcoming. Staff members are friendly and the store is clean and fun. It is located by the Hanger, which is prime for all sorts of different businesses. When ordering, I signed up for their rewards club and they gave out but one get one free drinks. Although it seemed like it was giving out free 20oz drinks, the fine print said you had to purchase a drink prior to getting the free one. I was okay with it since that means I can try more flavors, but I can see someone getting a little frustrated since it does say red 20oz drink. I ordered the strawberry ecstasy, since that's my favorite along with the passion attraction because I like passion fruit. Both orders I added boba which was an extra cost ($0.60). I should have ordered it with light ice, because I would've gotten more that way. The strawberry drinks was bomb however the same can't be said about the passion attraction. Convenient location to grab boba and snacks in Lakewood/Long Beach. They get minus one star for no phone orders for pick up. The staff told me to place an order online, and when I tried to, their location isn't even listed yet on the website. So how am I supposed to place an online order when it's not listed and you have no phone order for pick up? If you're scared of people ordering by phone and not showing up, then just take the payment upfront. Problem solved.
