BEST PASTOR in the SGV!…read more I get mine in a burrito with cheese and tons of fresh cucumber. Their pastor is juicy and tender. The cucumber has a slightly spicy glaze on it, making it both refreshing and fiery. This taco stand tends to move around. They used to be on Arrow hwy in front of the Superior Grocers market but now set up shop nightly in front of the Sketchers store on Azusa ave.

This taco stand is located at the corner of Asuza and Gladstone. A friend who lives in Asuza…read morementioned it and invited us to try it. So our group of ten headed out and parked by the strip mall where Skechers is. Everyone didn't waste time in ordering. Most people in the group had tacos while I had burrito. Service was really fast. With the tacos, you put garnishing after they hand you the plate. With the burrito, they let you put the garnishing first before they wrap it. It ended up so big that I asked them to cut it in half. We also ordered some drinks which are either soda, water or frescas. I had the horchata which was very good but too sweet but there's nothing an additional ice can't fix. We ended up all full and satisfied. Everything was great. I could have easily given them five stars but we were overcharged. The next day my friend went and inquired about it. Although they acknowledged the mistake and gave a refund, I would suggest checking your bill before paying.

Yes, get in line. Yes, it is worth the wait…read more After my 2nd time, here it pays to arrive a few minutes before they open up shop. I am told Wednesday to Sunday 6pm to 12am only, so arrive a bit early get in line!!! The meat choice and options are ALL good!! Highly recommend the pastor, Im allergic to pineapple but it was worth suffering for for the bomb tacos. I absolutely loved the Costillas de cerdo (pork ribs) plate, it was enough for two people, but made for great leftovers for breakfast the next day shredded with some eggs!! The horchata is so delicious, definitely want to try the strawberry Agua fresco next time, and the melons!! Killer salsa bar, love the guacamole salsa the best, their salsas pack alot of heat (and flavor) and watch out for those cucumbers, they come with spicy chopped orange habaneros, don't mistake them for carrots Will definitely be frequenting their location, which is in a nice lil cul de sac across from the church. So beautiful mindful of the area, and the parking. They do offer a nice little seating area, with napkins, chairs and utensils. And while you're in line salivating the smells and being one with thr charcoal smoke, be prepare to get samples from the grill master!! Great marketing and to ease the anxiety of what to order! Absolutely try Jonny's!!!!

The food is really good and the short ribs are amazing. You can get a bunch of them or just ask for 2 or 3. They are really tender and tasty. I really love the staff and how they cater to the line. One of the staff who was chopping up some meat said, "would you like a try?" Of course everyone in the line said yes and he proceeded to give out small bites of the meat he was chopping up as a taste test. Now you have Happy Customers. My top choices are the short ribs and suadero which you can request to be crispy. I prefer it to be tender. It reminded me of carnitas. Please be courteous to the neighbors as it is in a cul-de-sac off of Barranca and Grand. Try to keep the line off the sidewalk as well so others can have a walkway. You can take your food to go or they do have some tables for seating.

Although I feel…read morelike prices have rose pretty significantly in the past couple of years this is an event I'm always excited for. It is peak summer where you are able to be out in a comfortable summer night and browse what feels like any and all food there is. I thought this year was especially great with the DJ and the location. Previous years they always had the DJ tucked away all the way in the back but having them front and center of the event was a great call. Always have that awesome music in the background added a lot to my experience. Some of the standout thing we got was Japadog which is a wagyu hotdog that will make you rethink what a hotdog can be. We got a truffle katsu sandwich there too which is as fabulous as it sounds. Also had salt bread which was especially exciting considering I have been craving them ever since visiting Korea. Lastly, I got a fried Reece's cup which I have been in the hunt for some time since they seem pretty rare, so of course that hit the spot. Overall, this was an awesome 626 night market better than previous years. This is something I'll continue to look forward to every year!

First of all, the festival's check-in went smoothly and quickly. I bought these tickets in advance about a month ago online, so we just showed the QR codes at the gate and walked right in. Secondly, the majority of the festival's food stalls were Asian or Asian-inspired. There were Korean BBQ, Japanese ramen, Thai street delicacies, Filipino lumpia, etc. We tried every little appetizer, noodle bowl, and rice concoction that could fit into our tummies. And every single food item was delicious! We would absolutely come back to this yearly gastronomical festival again. (626NM has been going on for 12 years.) Be prepared to come with an empty stomach. You will not be disappointed. Definitely come hungry. In addition to the festival's food being the main attraction, there were non-food stalls selling a variety of jewelry, clothing, baseball caps, toys, etc. The music artists and/or bands were all fantastic too. 10 out of 10

I usually order a burger, but since I had a heavy lunch, I thought I'd get some tacos this time. Tacos are not it. For $5 a taco, you are pretty much getting ripped off. On their menu, it clearly states guacamole is included. The taco is literally tortilla, asada, bell peppers and onions. I can make better tacos at home. I was expecting real, authentic style Mexican tacos. But no, I just wasted $25 for 5 skimpy tacos. I know we live in a messed up economy. But for small food trucks to cheat their customers, that some bull. I won't be returning.
