All the stars aligned to make this a STELLAR experience. (heh heh) Beautiful, 75 degree weather on a Sunday afternoon. We came right before 5pm, before the kitchen opened so we ordered drinks while we waited. Husband was very impressed with their wine list, which is a good sign. He was excited to try different wines and it's awesome they offer half pours so he could try more. But oh-my-gosh. GET. THE. SANTORINI. I loved that drink. Milk punch, yoghurt ... it was so refreshing and milky. I felt like I was in south of France or in Hawaii, sitting on the patio with the slight breeze and plants around and quiet atmosphere. It was so yummy, I got a second. This is a big indication how good the drink is because 99% of the time I usually have my husband finish my drink and never order a second one...especially the SAME ONE. But omg, I need to go back to get another. I've been dreaming of it. Service was great. Esp since we were one of the only guests, they tended to us well. It can be easy to forget about the guests on the patio but their cadence in checking on us was good. Portion sizes for the food is quite generous. We're used to octopus dishes coming out really small as tapas, but they gave a lot. And I loved the fried kidney beans that came with it. I liked how the bluefin tuna crudo came in a light oil and not overly sauced or salty. Pork chop ... WOW. Huge portion, we were so impressed. Rich flavors, delicious. Tasting house exceeded my expectations from start to finish. I came here to celebrate my best friend's birthday along with 5 other friends. The food was immaculate. We tried brussel sprouts, steak, burger, mussels, and a few other items. I enjoyed everything from start to finish. The standout was not food, but the espresso martini. That is a dang good martini (and most places miss with this!) I'm not much of a "drinker" so that should stand for something! Ambiance It was the right type of moody, and I loved that people dressed their best and some were a bit most casual (in my group), and all felt welcomed. Though the lamps on the large table blocked our view or conversation so we did move it to the side but I liked the vibe of the table. Also, the bathroom is clean and selfie worthy (lol!). Service Incredible! Our server, I forgot his name but tall man if that helps. Incredibly knowledgeable, and this establishment does not write down your order, so it takes good memory skills to take so many orders! But even the greeter was so kind and sweet, a young gentleman with curly hair. They were so accommodating because at the last minute, we had some trouble in paradise and needed to push our reservation to an earlier time. They were able to accommodate us and I am extremely grateful! Now getting there, we had no idea that the roads on Santa Cruz would be so traffic heavy (dead stop and I believe an accident too!), so we were exceptionally late (I am a stickler for being on time so you can only imagine the stress I felt). They called to not only check and we were able to communicate our eta etc. I would have completely understood if they canceled our time slot, but instead, they went above and beyond. I just want to say again to the manager, each staff that assisted us, whether it be checking on our eta, hosting us, making our food, taking our picture, it left such a memorable impression and was the highlight our weekend trip. Tastinghouse has changed quite a bit since my last review. I love that they are now offering expertly crafted cocktails. Do not sleep on their Espresso Martini (5/5), which comes with a special foam. Their food is also more elevated. Their duck liver pate is to die for, and the Wellington, if you're lucky to snag one of the few they make each night, is worth the wait and price. Took my mom here for an early Mother's Day afternoon tea, and it was the BEST experience. We ran a little late because the traffic was insane and they were very sweet and accommodating about it. We did the traditional tea and got to choose from a long list of flavors and each got our own little pot (I got the milky blue absolu which was delicious). They also gave us tea sandwiches, scones and jam, and pastries, and they were all so good! Finished up with a hot towel and a sweet customized card. Was really pleasantly pleased with our dinner here last night. On the fence, this would have been a 4.5 stars if possible. Bustling vibe on a Saturday night. Every table and bar seat taken, a bit loud, but also because of the live music which was a nice touch and enjoyable. The food was quite good. Highlights were the gigante bean soup, which is a nice hearty bean soup with big chunks of ham hock and served with a shatteringly crisp epi which I loved. Great flavor and very artfully arranged. Def would order again. Also tried the mussels which came out with a heaping serving which was great. Only nits were a little more broth would have been nice and seasoning, the mussels were a little bland and slightly too much mustard tones. Also seemed like it could have been hotter. For dinner, I had the fish and chips and the fish was some of the most delicate fried fish I've ever had. Amazing! Mushy peas were ok, needed a little more salt maybe and wasn't overly a fan of the sweet potato chips. My wife had the burger which was top notch, excellent and her fries were the kind I love. Crisp, thin and salty. There was plenty for me to eat her fries with my fish. Dessert was a very nice chocolate mouse with salted marcona almonds on top. The combo of sweet and salty was excellent and a great way to finish the meal. Service was also excellent. Our server was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and noticed this morning I received a $20 off dessert if we come back in a month. Nice touch to have repeat customers. Lovely dinner and experience! read more

Came here for afternoon tea on a date, and the ambiance was lovely. We were seated by the window, with soft piano music filling the space, which created a very relaxing atmosphere. The service was good, and my husband and I took our time to unwind, catch up, and enjoy a quiet afternoon together. Unfortunately, the food was underwhelming. I've been to several afternoon tea spots and had high expectations, but this one fell short. The sandwiches were overly salty, and the pastries were excessively sweet so much so that it became overwhelming. There wasn't much to balance out the strong saltiness and sweetness. I ordered the Earl Grey tea, which was quite subtle and lacked the distinct bergamot notes I was expecting. We came here for my birthday for the multi course tasting menu, each course was beautifully presented with attention to detail, and the taste was layered and fresh. I love how the tasting experience involved seating at 5 different areas of the restaurant, and was very interactive. We also were shown a map at the beginning with the sourcing locations all over California of the ingredients which was a lovely local touch. All the dishes were themed based on the local specialities and chef's life journey, as well as the in season items of the autumn. Service was exceptional, nearly on par with some Michelin restaurants I've been to. Even though it's not that far from San Jose, I'm not as familiar with Los Gatos as I could be. I wasn't quite sure where to park, but there is a parking lot behind this place. It wasn't too hard to find and there was a lot of parking on a Saturday afternoon. I came for the afternoon tea. Apparently they do this every Friday and Saturday afternoon. This was one of the most luxurious teas I've been to. They had someone playing the piano in the background, and we were seated with footstools to put our purses on. Everyone in the staff was helpful and gracious with pretty much every weird demand my party had! The food was really good. The sandwiches were actually pretty unique, particularly the one that had a quail egg on it. I did think the scone was super tiny, like maybe a bite of scone! The clotted cream was larger than the scone. The desserts were pretty exceptional. They said they are from Fleur du Cocoa nearby - gotta check that place out. Oh and the tea they served was really great quality tea. I got the darjeeling and it was very velvety tasting. At the end of the meal, they asked us our names, and the hostess gave us each a personalized thank you card! I felt like they really went the extra mile to make this a unique and luxurious experience. With tax and tip, it is almost $100 which is a little pricey but I actually felt like it was worth it. We didn't do any of the add-ons but you could add on champagne or caviar. The cheese add-on sounded good, as did the fries. I think if you were extra hungry, that would be a good option. So I literally just stopped by 9pm today with my girlfriend and we were literally were the only ones there. I felt like we rented out the restaurant. Mark was super friendly explained to us about the food. Everything and the service was awesome. Give that man a raise the lamb the tuna oh my God, the tuna. The manager called to reinstate our reservation and agreed to put something as close as the tasting menu as possible. I'm super appreciative and had an overall good evening, but I'm not sure if we will return. The meal itself took 4.5 hours! We started around 7 and only finished around 1130 when all the customers had left and staff were cleaning, using the restroom, and getting ready to leave. We tried to be patient, but we were exhausted at the end of it. We actually had no idea of what the menu was and only got the printout at the very end. Not sure if it was meant as a surprise/mystery, but there were multiple points during the evening where we were waiting for over half an hour for the next dish to arrive. Some of the staff were really lackluster with service. They would just mumble just a few words really quickly (5 seconds max), plop the dish down and turn around to leave before even finishing their sentence. No eye contact or waiting to get any acknowledgement or feedback from us. It was difficult to get any staff attention to follow-up on what we were eating, and I got a sense some of them were getting annoyed as well. I ended up just getting the menu myself and following along from there instead. The picked mushroom was extremely pungent and sour. We were not a fan and were screaming and spitting it out of disgust. No staff noticed to help and when I gave feedback, the attitude was "well, others like it, I don't see the problem." I had really high hopes for this place. For the money you spend here, the food and service leaves much to be desired. Looking forward to see others review the new tasting menu that will come out next month. I hope others will have a better experience. read more

We went for Valentine's Day dinner and unsurprisingly it was packed. Originally, our reservation was for an outdoor table. However, it was rainy and super cold so we were very grateful they were able to accommodate us by moving us indoors. While we waited for our table we enjoyed drinks and the champagne bar. For our appetizer we tried the crab roll after salivating at a nearby tables order. We also ordered the burger and the wild boar rigatoni. Overall 3.5/5 This is our second time eating at the Tasting house. The food last time seemed to be better than this time. The menu changes seasonally and often so none of the items on the menu this time was the same as our first visit. Ambiance 4/5- we sat outside this time and it was not busy nor noisy at all. The street where Tasting house is located is pretty quiet. Service 4/5- attentive service, expected from this price range. Food 3/5- The corn soup was really nice. The steak was a let down, it was cooked to a rare to medium rare and it just seems odd for a skirt steak. I normally like my steak medium rare so it wasn't the doneness but more the texture of the steak being a bit on the chewy side. The fries was also not as "skinny" as I would like but that's ok since is rare to find bistro that serves the very skinny fries one finds in France. The octopus was good, nothing to complain about but for the price it was also not exceptional. The wine by the glass is on the pricey side. Their claim of flame seems to be having 65+ wines by the glass so not surprise, but still pricey! read more

We came here for Mother's Day afternoon tea. First time we've been here since it became Tasting House, though we used to come when it was Cin Cin Wine Bar. The food was all top quality and was delicious. They partner with Fleur de Cocoa for most of the sweet offerings. I honestly usually don't enjoy afternoon tea, my wife loves it, but I normally end up feeling like I ate a lot processed flour baked items. But this was much better than the usual. Three savory open faced "sandwiches" that were delicately seasoned and had nice touches like small bits of caviar with each bite. The scone and slice of denser loaf (I know that's a terrible description, but I'm not sure what the official name is) were both excellent. I only had a couple of the sweet items on top, because I got too full, but we're looking forward to enjoying them at home. We also ordered a side order of fries, which came with a lemon aioli and individual cute bottle of ketchup were great too, crisp and light, not oily. The tea selection was excellent as well. The food was one thing, but I'll tell you. What was really exceptional was the service. Everyone was so attentive, but in a nice, polite, friendly way. I'd imagine it's selecting genuinely nice, customer service oriented people, but the training program must be meticulous as well. We were just really impressed with the staff here and attention to detail. For example, when the tea comes out, they have one server per tea kettle to come out and pour the first cup for every member of your party at the same time. Such attention to detail is rare these days even at pricey places. They never seemed to take any customer for granted and even gave an individual thank you note to each person. They had a live string quartet playing music when we were there. Very skilled players too. Finally, the place was decorated in a very classy way, with attention to detail. Both the furnishings itself, the plates, the stool to let the ladies set their bags on. Whoever owns and manages this place is doing an exceptional job, as well as each individual who works here. I came to try their new tea service and it didn't disappoint! We ordered the tea for 2 and got a glass of champagne to accompany. They have a long list of teas to choose from, my only complaint is there were no descriptions for the teas so it was difficult to figure out what was what. In the end we chose two different teas, and they come out in the CUTEST square tea pots. The tower of food was good! I wasn't a huge fan of everything but I really enjoyed getting to try everything. The vibes were fancy since it's primarily for wine tasting. The service was above and beyond! They were so attentive and helpful and even gave us a cute little note. We had dinner at The Tasting House and walked into a lively, full restaurant with a live jazz band. Right away, we realized that sitting too close to the music would be overwhelming, so we requested a table in the back half of the restaurant. Throughout the night, the atmosphere was enjoyable, but unfortunately, the piano overpowered the singer, making it hard to hear the vocals. That said, we really enjoyed our experience. The service was excellent and quite attentive, very unexpected for this bistro environment. The only downside was the slow pacing. While we typically appreciate a relaxed dining experience, our meal--without a tasting menu--still took three hours. It truly reflected the leisurely French dining style. Most of the dishes were good, though a couple weren't quite to our taste. Next time, we'd love to return and try other options. The menu is quite small, so hopefully, they rotate some dishes. We also noticed many couples enjoying the tasting menu, which we'd consider for another visit. One thing to note--parking in Los Gatos at night can be tricky. Tasting House is a Los Gatos gem with an excellent wine and champagne by-the-glass list, so perfect for a special night out or celebration. We sat in the bistro seating by the bar on a Friday -- there is live music, so it can get quite loud as an FYI. The menu is from local growers but is very Northern European influenced, so be ready for some delicious, hardy dishes. The head chef was out sick for the night so we were unable to order the tasting menu, but the January 2026 bistro menu was quite fulfilling. To start, we had the crab roll (think lobster roll, but with Dungeness crab) and smørrebrød (a Danish open-faced sandwich with rye bread) with smoked sturgeon, including some exceptional wine pairing suggestions from the knowledgeable staff. For our mains we had the fish and chips and the wild boar rigatoni. The fish was moist yet flaky and crispy which paired great with the mushy peas. The 'chips' were large wedges of purple potato-- good but quite dense. The wild boar was filling-- some of the meat was dry while other pieces quite moist. The homemade rigatoni was flat (it's fresh so don't expect your perky round pasta) and a touch undercooked, but overall the dish had great flavor. To wrap up the meal, we had the sticky toffee pudding. It came out as a slice (dense bordering dry) covered in toffee and vanilla ice cream. The cake paired with the ice cream was necessary but balanced flavor nonetheless. We would give the restaurant a 4.5 (although you can't give halves here) because the quality of the food is great, the staff knowledge of the wine is exceptional, but the attentiveness and attention to detail could use some work (spacing between courses, waiting a considerable amount of time for plates to be cleared, having to take several minutes to hunt down leftovers...that shouldn't be the case. One time they didn't even bring us our leftovers which was half of a whole meal..not cool). All in all, great meal and wine. We look forward to coming back and trying the tasting menu along with the impressive wine selection available. read more

We've celebrated birthdays and anniversaries here, dropped in for impromptu dinners, pregame beverages - it's good for it all. Chef is a creative powerhouse with a solid team in the kitchen who continue to fascinate us with creative and delicious dishes. Because we had the tasting menu we had multiple servers, they were all amazing, not to forget the ambience was amazing lively, if you want someplace quiet this place is not for you because they have live music on Saturday . Since we had the tasting menu for 2 we sat on this beautiful round table on the corner by the wine storage window glasses, so it will be easy for them to come in and out to serve the food, the chairs were so comfortable, we felt like a superiour. Instead of doing the pairing we purchased a bottle od red, we both loved it. With a surprise they took us to the tea room to end the evening with a tea ceremony, we didn't expect that and handed a little bag of tea to take home. However, after sitting at the bar, I was encouraged to look at the food menu by Brandon, the bartender. He was so right! The Ham Hock Bean soup and artisan bread - it was so good. Then! My wife and I came here for the Valentine's Day special. It was supposed to be $150 per person, but since my wife was pregnant at the time, we were not able to get the first or second course just to be safe, so it was $120 each, which was fine. Our first course was the duck salad, was probably the best thing we had while we were there, and the Old fashioned was pretty good. The reason for the bad review is the main entrée: the prime rib. It was one of the worst my wife and I have ever had, and to be more specific, it was fatty, overly gummy, and quite literally cooked raw. There was no saving it. It was served with horseradish and mushrooms, but that was really all there was. There were no sides to go with it. It was a massive piece of prime rib that was completely undercooked and a low-quality, stringy, gummy mess. My wife and I theorized that because we had an early reservation on Valentine's Day, we may have received the first batch of prime ribs, which might have contributed to how undercooked it was. We tried to tough through it, thinking maybe our palates weren't sophisticated enough for something prepared this way or that this was the standard. However, after reflecting on the experience that evening and the next day, we realized it was simply a bad prime rib. To be honest, we wish we had just come for a regular dinner instead of the Valentine's Day special. That said, the service was great, and the dessert was okay. Still, considering we drove over an hour and spent about $360 on a salad, an undercooked prime rib, an old fashioned, and some tiramisu, I don't recommend coming here for special occasion like valentines day. read more

Wow! I only recently found out that the Tasting House was offering Afternoon Tea Service Priced at $75, the service includes: Sandwiches: Served on house-made milk bread. Scones: Freshly baked served with clotted cream and preserves. Pastries: made in-house daily, includes cream puffs, financiers, and petite fours. My photos don't do these delicious pastries justice. There's inside and outside seating. Inside seating is elegant and welcoming. There was a pianist that added to the ambiance of the restaurant. It was a beautiful day and we requested to be seated outside, they happily accommodated us though I think the preference is to setup the afternoon tea inside the restaurant. So big kudos to them for being accommodating. All the pastries were absolutely delicious. I have been to many high teas in England and in Indonesia and this can easily be in my top 5. The experience was a 10 out of 10. I'm especially happy that this gem is pretty much in my backyard. I could come here weekly if possible. Presentation is everything and Tasting House knocks it out of the park. I shouldn't give away their adorable surprise at the end of your dining experience but you get a lovely scented hand towel with the most delicate of flowers on the hot towel with a personalized handwritten note card thanking you for dining with them. I was not expecting that, as I've never experienced that at any other restaurant. Parking can be limited as there is a small parking lot very close by, but you can also find other parking if you don't mine walking a few minutes. read more

This review is for the afternoon tea specifically. My friend and I wanted treat ourselves to this experience after a year of hard work. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays and was so cozy inside. We got a great seat right by the front window in some very comfy chairs. The host and our server were both friendly and inviting. The chose our teas and after a little wait we received our tea and then our food set. There were a few things which unfortunately diminished our experience. First, I was a bit surprised that they serve tea bags and not loose tea- which didn't match our expectations at the price point of this service. Notably, the kettles the tea were served in were beautiful iron pieces. The food, which was kindly explained by the server, was mediocre. Some items we enjoyed like the huckleberry jam, the salmon toast, and the sturgeon toast, however the items that were said to have a japanese style milk bread didn't seem to have the soft fluffy texture that is traditional to this style of bread. Lastly the most disappointing were the scones, which we baked under and served to us with raw batter in the center. We let our server know and he offered to bring us out fresh ones. While the second batch were clearly baked more the center still had a bit raw, which at that point we were full so didn't feel like it needed to be brought up again. We were really excited to try this restaurant. With many of the other aspects of the experience being great, it's sad the main part - tea and food was a miss and not the caliber we were expecting. A few days ago, I finally was able to experience their high tea; Tea at the Tasting House is a must! Every detail from the tablescape to the menu, the grand piano being played in the lounge to the selection of teas served in cast iron pots from France, inspires joy and relaxation. I visited Tasting House last night for my birthday, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, Bryan made us feel incredibly welcome. He was attentive, friendly, and really made the evening feel special. It was my birthday, and he went out of his way to ensure everything was perfect. We opted for the tasting menu, and WOW, each course was an absolute masterpiece. The presentation of each dish was nothing short of stunning, showcasing the attention to detail and artistry of the kitchen. The flavors were exceptional, and the quality of the ingredients was evident in every bite. It's clear that this French restaurant doesn't just focus on taste, but on creating a complete sensory experience. Bryan's expertise and thoughtful wine pairings added another layer of enjoyment to the meal. He really took the time to understand our preferences and recommended wines that complemented each dish perfectly. The overall experience was seamless from the impeccable service to the gorgeous dishes and top notch wine. I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate my birthday. Had dinner with my family to celebrate my birthday last night. Food needs a lot of work: - Caesar salad had overwhelming anchovy flavor - chicory salad had far too much mustard/horseradish flavor and was over dressed - steak frites at $55 was terrible - a small tough piece of meat, 1 of the 3 we ordered was way over cooked and they had to make new one. They did comp that steak. All 3 steaks had lots of gristle/fat. Ewww.... - boar pasta was good - appetizer menu very limited - had 3 raw fish items and 1 meat (lamb tartare). If you don't test those items there's not much else but the bad salads we got. Service was mixed - staff is big but service isn't very coordinated among them. Example - we ordered a bottle of wine, then a different person came to ask us if we wanted wine. One of the waiters wasn't aware the wine list that was part of the dinner menu only had tasting portions and no bottles so was surprised when we asked for the bottle wine list. (The restaurant premise is all about the wine). And maybe that's the problem - great wine list but their food just doesn't taste good at all. Prices the usual over priced Silicon Valley restaurant but without the food at that level it's a terrible value. Will not return... what happened to CinCin that was there before? Miss it! read more

I walked in solo on a random Friday. Honestly I could write a novel just about the warm welcoming I received from everyone there. Dean was the star of the show, making sure I felt present in a bar surrounded by couples. A savory cream puff was the amuse buche. Beef carpaccio mmmm classic but so good which paired heavenly with my red whose name I don't recall unfortunately. The blanc de blanch champagne with the hamachi danced together with the smoke. The music was outstanding, so transient. The kicker was really the tea I was sent home with at the end of my meal. Although I wanted to have a third course, I was awfully full and ended it short. I long to return soon to try a dessert which I'm sure must be amazing. Go here with a loved one, you'll both love it. read more

Wow! What an incredible experience! JP was an incredible host. The champagne bar is quaint and intimate. Cindy was there as well and just brought such joy and energy into our experience. They were setting up for a big Oktoberfest extravaganza happening later in the day but treated us like royalty while having to do so many other tasks. I can't wait to go back! read more

Well this was pretty darn cool! Such a lovely and unique menu, great wine selection, cozy but not crowded vibe - it's great having such an excellent restaurant in LG. The service was impeccable and detailed without being intrusive. I could tell how proud they are. Chef is top- shelf in creativity and quality. We had 2 small plates that we shared and split a main dish. All yummy and unique- and at excellent prices. All the wines, we'll recommend by Riley, were excellent and also well priced. Enjoyed our meal at the tables outside, a bit loud inside with piano music. Menu of wines is extensive but watch out, they were out of the "value-priced" Cabernet so we ended up spending way more than intended ($150/bottle). Food was beautifully presented and tasty. I really don't like leaving a review like this. In fact, I reached out to the owner of the restaurant to provide some feedback before posting this and received a thoughtless response that he "would forward it along..." First, let's give credit to Chef Julian and the spectacular creations that come out of his kitchen. The food is so fresh and every aspect of every item is well flavored and so beautiful to look at. Sometimes It's hard to eat the art, but we do find our way. My feedback is around our overall customer experience. We've now visited 4 times. Visit 1: We enjoyed the Chef's tasting menu with wine pairing where we had this incredible experience of both food and service. (5/5) Visit 2: Picking up a to-go Wellington for a holiday dinner and receiving the package literally wrapped in a gift box was very special and memorable. The Wellington was amazing. (5/5) Visit 3: Midday pop-in for some patio drinks. The host sat us outside where we continued to sit without receiving a menu, seeing a server, being offered water, or anything for 30 minutes. We left. Boo. (0/5) Visit 4: Returned for a birthday dinner. We had planned this dinner for a couple weeks and it was something I was really looking forward to. It had to be the Wellington! (2.5/5) Let's focus on this visit for a moment. Dani was our server and we know her from previous restaurants. She's always very kind, helpful, and welcoming. I don't think the experience I'm describing below is her fault at all. It feels more like a lack of prioritization overall for the outdoor diners' experience. Recognizing that the Beef Wellington is not on the "Chef's Tasting Menu," I was surprised to learn it would take 1 hour to receive it once the order was placed. However, the restaurant knows this and there's an opportunity for the server to recommend something to start with and/or just have more of an overall experience in anticipation of this magnificent entree. Maybe some specific recommendations? Maybe something should be included like a starter/side--something to complement the entree? It seems like we would have just sat there for 1 hour waiting at this empty table, had we not pieced together some things to have in advance. There was a lot of waiting for service, it was a little hard to order wine, it took 4 people to figure out the heater behind us, flies were abundant, and someone could have stuck a candle in my Wellington to simply acknowledge this was a birthday. They did offer a polaroid photo, but we were not in the mood at this point. Even though we didn't order a dessert, after spending $500, one would think a complimentary something or other might present itself. Lastly, while people may choose to sit outside, they're getting an "annexed" experience and do not feel like they're part of the restaurant. We don't feel prioritized and our experience is not being prioritized. read more

First thing I will say is walking in with the live music, dark interior, white linens, wine storage, just all of it, perfectly designed to create an unforgettable atmosphere. Everything was good. This is now my new FAV spot when I'm in town! Met a gf here for some drinks and we definitely got more than drinks. We arrived at about 4:30pm and sat at the bar. The restaurant was not full yet. We ordered our glasses of wine, you can do a half glass or a full order. Then we ordered some food - oysters and tuna. Both are a must! Then we refilled our glasses and ordered more food - lobster ravioli and lamb, these are a must x2! Amazing flavors and perfectly cooked. Service was amazing Restaurant looks awesome, quaint and inviting. Pricing is good for the food and wine that you get. Perfect ambience. Had a wonderful experience at dinner this Saturday night. Ordered their tasting menu and a wine pairing. Everything was great, but the dinner was way too long. Not sure if they were just running behind but originally the lady waiting on our table said it takes 2-3 hours total which is a lot but sounded ok. It took us almost 3.5 hours and we took last two dessert courses to go as it was just taking way too long. There were total 15 courses. I felt like if they did maybe 9-10 and made them a bit larger portions and had them come out a bit faster the experience would have been better. Food was tasty, wines were good, service was good (a bit slow), tea service at the end was a very nice touch. That's also why i wish it did not take as long as it did so i could actually enjoy it instead of rushing as we couldn't be there for over 4 hours I would come back though to try their regular menu.
