Food was fresh and piping hot! My favorite is the oreo shake. Ice cream is so creamy and delicious. The girls that work there are so helpful and sweet. The girl that helped me with my order was named Lexi and she was so kind. And now a days that's so hard to see teenage workers with positive attitude. I have returned every week since my kids love the burrito special and the chili cheese fries! My personal favorite is the bacon avocado burger! I wish they had some music playing in the restaurant sometimes having some tunes in the background while we eat seems like it would help the atmosphere and vibe. read more

First Time at Tasty Buns in Sanger Definitely Coming Back! Tried Tasty Buns for the first time and it did not disappoint! The drive-thru was pretty busy when we pulled up, so we decided to park instead. The main parking area is a bit limited, but there's good lighting, which made it feel safe and convenient. Inside, it wasn't crowded with dine-in guests, but you could tell the staff was hustling hard with the drive-thru. Even with that, we were helped right away. The team was super friendly, attentive, and knew exactly what we wanted great customer service all around. The menu has a wide variety of options from banana splits and desserts to burgers, corn dogs, and chili cheese fries. Something for everyone! The restaurant itself was very clean and had a nice mix of seating (tables, chairs, and high-tops). There's one restroom for the facility--it's coded, so you'll need to ask staff for access but it's spacious, handicap accessible, and very clean. One thing I actually liked: the soda machine is behind the counter. Refills are free, but you do have to ask. It keeps things more controlled and honestly more convenient. As for the food everything came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. No complaints at all! Overall: great food, clean environment, and friendly staff. We'll definitely be back! read more

2/6/26 Grand Opening! Getting lunch! They have drive-thru. Long line. Moved at medium pace. Greeted by nice worker. #16 ordered. Combo with onion rings & Diet Pepsi. A lot more waiting. Busy! They are also giving away free ice cream for the opening! Woo-hoo! Checked order, upon leaving and they gave fries instead of onion rings. Go back. Avoid long line. Go in and the manager was GREAT and gave a full refund. Unexpected & very kind! Appreciated! Great business! Lunchtime! Great soda with crushed ice! Even better!! The food is ok. I really like it. But the customer service is HORRIBLE. I ordered a #6 single bacon cheese burger. I got a jalapeño burger. I took it back. The young lady at the counter looked and me rolled her eyes and said I will take care of it. Took my recipe. Went to the cook and replaced my order. The cook remade it. She brought it up to me and said sorry. The bag I returned the jalapeño burger had my fries in it. I asked can I get my fries. More eye rolls, she went to the back and told the cook. He wants fries now too. The accommodated and made it a large. Then I asked for my receipt back. She said you want your reciept... then proceeded to get my receipt. Sorry tasty buns. I rarely eat hamburgers. Over the years, the classic "burger" has gotten so small, so misshapen, and so cold. Sometimes you just crave a good American HAMBURGER. The Tastey Bunz has refurbished an older restaurant. I have not been inside. The outside is clean and repainted. I have only had 2 different menu items. The first item was a small dipped cone. Vanilla dipped in a chocolate shell. The serving was huge. The ice cream was creamy and delicious, and gave you one minute to begin licking it before it dripped down your hand. This cone was huge and was priced reasonably at $2.99. The next time I drove through the Tastey Bunz, I ordered a hamburger combo. This was priced approximately the same as the national chain a few businesses down the street but well worth the price. The burger was very hot. The lettuce was very cold. The tomato was very ripe and cold. They have a secret sauce and delicious dill pickles, and were happy to add catsup to my burger, as well at my request. They serve old-fashioned thick, crinkled fries, which were too hot to eat, seasoned with just enough salt. The staff has been efficient and friendly the three times I have been there. I have only one problem. The hamburger combo has been so good, I have not wanted to order anything different read more

First time here we ordered twisters and they were amazing. This time I got food and went inside to order, the restaurant was very clean, the girls at counter were friendly. From when I ordered my food to when it was done was just under 20 minutes, I ordered food for 5 people. We got chilli cheese fries, nuggets, chicken strips, milkshakes and a burger. All of the food was great, and portions were large. Def enjoyed it and will be back. Glad we have a good burger place now in town. read more

I'd like to preface this review by saving that I was a big fan of the establishment that originally resided in that building. I won't name them, but I'm sure if you are local, you know who I am speaking of. Pretty famous ice cream spot, nobody really payed attention to their food though. At least that's what I think. Now, on to the actual review of this fine establishment. When I first saw it completed before opening, my first comment was, "Wow! This place looks awesome!" And it made me a lot more excited to try the food. On that fateful day that the grand opening took place, I did not get any food. Because I wasn't in the area. That's irrelevant though. I tried a cheeseburger, regular fries, curly fries, the pastrami sandwich, and a large drink. My order was correctly given to me, and I promptly went home and tried the food with my family. The food was really good. The burger completely blew away my expectations. I thought it was gonna be your average burger. It definitely wasn't! Juicy and flavorful. Now on to the pastrami sandwich. Pretty good! There is a whole lot on the menu here, and I know that making a decent pastrami sandwich is quite the task. However, it turned out great. The curly fries were awesome too. Reminded me of Jack In The Box. I'd also like to say that I tried the food maybe a couple weeks ago, but my phone ran out of storage and I had to delete Yelp unfortunately. That's it. So decided to go to tasty buns and try it out since it's new to town.. the drive-through took a while more than usual I would say. When you got up to the speaker I ordered two combo meals that were 1499. And a regular hamburger for eight dollars. When I ordered the combo meals, I was asked if I wanted a medium or large. I responded with what is the difference in price and the female employee said to me. " I don't know." so I said OK I'll stick with medium.. then I was asked do I want regular fries or curly fries?? and I said I'll have curly fries please. And that was the completion of my order when I got to the window I was advised that my order was $46... for two combo meals and a hamburger. $46.!! I said I've never ordered anything that so expensive why is it $46 the combos are $15 apiece. Where did the extra $15 come from? The employee proceeded to tell me that she added cheese to the combos without asking if I wanted to choose on them and that was extra! And the curly fries were extra because it was a substitution! I then said to her, you didn't know the price of the combo from medium to large, you didn't ask me if I wanted cheese or advise me that it would be extra, and you neglected to tell me there would be a up charge from going from a regular fry to a curly fry.. so with all those extras it was an extra $10 plus tax it came out to $46. Needless to say I will not be going back to support Sanger new business. Back to the Burger chains it is. read more

Missing item from order. I called the location a few times, and wasn't able to get a hold of them at first. I called the number on the receipt, and I was able to get the issue resolved.
