I have a weakness for these types of locally owned establishments. I hadn't been here in a couple years mainly because it's about a 25 minute drive from work. Anywho, myself and some co-workers made the drive and enjoyed some delicious burgers! It actually looked like their menu had expanded since the last time I was here. They have about 20 or so burgers to choose from, chicken sandwiches, chicken platters, and even a small Mexican menu. I ordered the Western burger and fries okra. The burger was topped with pickles, lettuce, tomato, two onion rings and hickory sauce. It was one of the better burgers I've had from any restaraunt, I couldn't imagine getting anything else if their menu besides their burgers. I wasn't expecting anything really from the fried okra but I was surprised by how well breaded it was, very crispy, and a large portion- I couldn't finish it. A couple improvements I would suggest is the wait time for the food (we waited 30 minutes) but the food did come out very fresh, it wasn't like it was sitting under a heat lamp. I would also say they need to expand a little bc its always crowded, but I think that may take away from its "allure". They should also open for dinner. First off, be aware they are now charging a fee to pay with a credit card. The burgers were good. The curly fries, on the other hand, were very greasy and soggy. Never had fries that bad there. Probably should have complained, but I didn't. Will go back, but if the fries don't improve, it will be the last. read more

This place has good greasy burgers. Really good. Not very expensive. The homemade spiral chips are amazing. Everything is cooked to order so it's slow at times, but worth the wait. Hours are very limited. Mostly they are open for lunch and close at 3pm. Weekend hours are different. Seating is very limited. I have had to get my order to go because there was nowhere to sit. I've heard my great things about this little place so i decided to try it out for myself. It's small and only open through the week so it may be difficult to go there if your schedule doesn't permit. They have several specialty burgers and potato options including kurly fries, waffles fries and homemade kettle chips. I ordered the western burger (burger with western sauce and also an onion ring). There is a big sign at the register when you order saying all food is made fresh so be patient while waiting. Ours came out fairly fast! It was very good. I also had a side of cheese kurly fries which were also good. Good prices- $15 for both my husband and I. Why can't they wear food gloves, I noticed they would handle fridge door,countertops, broom handle and prepare food, that is disgusting. When my burger was delivered to my table I noticed finger and thumb print in the top bun where they pressed it down. I can't say if the food was good or not, paid the bill and walked out. Been to this little joint a few times here lately. I love that there is a good diner type burger joint close to my rural OKC home. The burgers and fries are incredibly good. My gripe about this joint. They have a sign on the register that states "we aren't a fast food restaurant we make out food from scratch, ~ it's worth the wait." That's fine, but the young blue haired girl that works the register hovers her hand over the card machine while you are trying to pay. Take it easy sister I've used my card once or twice before. The staff, menu, environment, and food is always great. The ONLY "complaint" i could ever make is that the fries aren't crispy enough for me, but that's just based on my own personal preference of fries. Family-owned small town feel. They take pride in their establishment, and it's obvious. I have been going there for 10 years. In fact, anytime I get company from out of town, I usually take them there.
