After work I was very hungry,I decided go to Tasty Choice it's been many years I haven't to this restaurant in years. The restaurant looks the same with different changes through the years. I step in the restaurant the interior looks the same I can remember. Then I look at the menu display they have a very good selection of burgers,sandwiches,Mexican and other items they also serve menudo on the weekend. I decided to orderca cheeseburger combo including fries and choice of fountain drink. Couple minutes later the cashier brought my meal to the table. The cheeseburger looks great and fries were crispy cook perfectly to nice crispy. I really enjoy the cheeseburger very much I need to come again to try to order a different items from their menu. read more

BOGO for their chicken burritos! They're surprisingly tasty BUT I got a few pieces of bone in mine. The teriyaki chicken is HUGE and nicely spiced with jalapenos but overly sauced and sweet. Their carne asada torta is good but may smell better than it tastes. read more

Ordered a quesadilla. Asked for extra sour cream and they charged an arm and leg for what looked like a regular amount. Then when I open it the sour cream just looks like a puddle of milk. Super runny. Tasted more like milk than sour cream too to be honest. Very disappointing. But other than that the quesadilla still tasted great. read more

Kind of a hole in the wall location, but worth the effort. Juan is one good cook, and Javier is accommodating and helpful. Nelson and Orange, careful as the street is old school and narrow and parking lot is small. If you do not go there, fine, that will leave me more to eat!! The service is absolutely amazing! Since this restaurant is in between some small streets, they get to know many of the neighborhood customers and are great in conversation. For the longest they had an atm which you had to withdraw cash from if you didn't have any. Fortunately they recently upgraded and accept debit/credit cards now; don't let the atm sign fool you. This place could use a makeover. The seats are torn up on many of the edges and the seating is a little inefficient. This place has been here for years and you can tell by how the infrastructure is pretty run down. If you come with a large family, don't expect to all fit in one table. You get plenty of food for the price, a standard cheeseburger meal runs just over $5. During my most recent visit there was a jug of what I thought was horchata sitting on the counter. Turns out it was a banana based drink: what?! After trying a sample, I was immediately convinced and bought a medium drink: it was delicious! While this place is located on the corner so it's easy to spot, be prepared to encounter a bit amount of traffic since there is construction on the main road (valley blvd) and this is a detour for many trailers and buses. Overall, mediocre hamburger stand food that satisfies but great and hospitable customer service and a great banana drink! read more

The food is great. Besides burgers the cook told me that the item ordered the most was the chicken teriyaki with the option of jalapeños. So i decided to go for it. It was delicious... The place is a little small . And could use a little facelift . But other than that this place gets the job done. Definitely will be coming back. read more

Went on a Sunday after partying the night before and I'm search of some menudo. I remember seeing the sign up in the front when I would go eat tacos and decided to try it out. They give you the option of if you want all the goods in it, the leg/hominy/meat. Sat down and the menudo was brought out about 8mins later. The young girl that works with her family is very sweet and attentive. Menudo was great tasting and they had handmade tortillas! That was the closer for me, especially since La Poblana is right across the street (it's normally busy on the weekends) and that's also a great spot for handmade tortillas. Will definitely keep coming to this burger joint now, still need to try out the burgers!!! read more

So I literally just left when I was there I ordered a number 4 chicken sandwich avocado they charged me $1.04 for that and $6.50 for the sandwich which I do think is a little pricey for a sandwich so I got home put in the movie that I just bought expecting to have a good lunch with my movie lol I took a bite of the sandwich and realized there's no avocado so now my movies ruined lol and I am a little bit frustrated so I went back because luckily it's across the street and when I got there I told her there's no avocado and to me if a restaurant makes a mistake they should sweeten the deal for example a free meal or next time it's 50% off but no what she did was just paying me back for the avocado and another thing is it was my first time there I have to say I am extremely disappointed will not be going back and I hope they read this so that they can fix their customer service read more

this was the worst service i have ever had. i called 2 hours to order for pick up being that it was a big order, but made it cleared that i would pick it up until 12. when i got there the girl had me serve my own sodas which were 25 sodas. i was really upset being i only have 30 minutes for lunch and i told her that. when i got to my work which is only a block away the hamburgers were soggy and disgusting. the fries looked like they had made them a day before and there was hardly and fries. other people order salads and the lettuce was old and dark and so nasty that they didn't want to eat it. we didn't get dressing nor crackers for the salad. we have order from there several times but have never had such a bad experience. i called to make a complain and the girl that answer didn't even want to pass me to her supervisor or give me his name, so i asked her for her name and she refuse. we paid for good service and we expected that. they acted like they were giving us the food for free. our bill was $190.52 and that was basically money down the drain. terrible service, terrible food and don't recommend it. read more
