Incredible vegan food and deserts! The Philly Cheese and the Rueben make you forget they are vegan...

I was torn between 4 or 5 stars for this Tasty place because the food was amazing and the wine was good, and priced nicely. Very cool ambiance. I asked for a booth, which wasn't available and requested a cozy corner since it was so cold outside. We were seated in front of a giant glass garage door, so I asked to be moved to a smaller table by a little electric fireplace, which did the trick! Our waiter was really helpful with making choices and explaining the menu items he liked and my son may like (as a non-vegan) and really nice, but took quite a while longer than needed between orders of drinks and food to return and check on us and take any additional orders, etc...as it wasn't super busy. Those are easily corrected things and the food is most important so I rounded up my stars for this delicious dining place in Fort Collins! My Ricky Bobby was flat out amazing with the mashers and gravy, and the Seitan Fajitas were very tasty as well. read more

Was visiting the area & came in for lunch/dinner. I was able to sit outside with my pup (dog friendly). I forget the servers name, but he was incredibly kind & attentive! My order was the Ricky Bobby wrap. It was soo flavorful and filling! The buffalo tempeh and cole slaw balanced together really well. The fries were nice & crispy too. Super cute place! But their food is incredibly expensive considering the size of the portions and taste of the food. The wings appetizer had both hot and bbq wings on them - the hot wings were almost too spicy to eat, the barbecue were bland and disappointing. We also got the garlic fries - they were great, until about the third hair we found in our food. We got a free cookie for the trouble, but as we didn't really each much of our food to begin with, a refund would have been nice.... I want to give this place another shot, but it does seem like their selling point is more the fact that it's vegan, than that it makes good food.... Wish the price was a little lower too. read more

I really wish there were half stars. I would go with 3 1/2 stars for now. My fam and I went here for the first time... It was very excited about the reviews. I am a vegetarian who is almost vegan. My family is not but they were supporting me for my birthday. I tried the Samurai Bowl and it was pleasant. It didn't rock my world. Sad! I would want to try something different next time. One comment I wanted to make is... Maybe the wait staff could ask questions when they see something off... for example, someone in my party ordered the Ruben sandwich (which has seitan, a gluten protein) with gluten free bread.... He didn't know what seitan was and ordered when I wasn't there. It would be nice to get prompts from the staff on choices. Maybe a quick "hey, just checking.. your meal has gluten in it, are you gluten free?) Just a sidebar suggestion. He hadn't eaten it before and didn't know. The interior was pleasant and very clean. The bathrooms were clean which are appreciated. I would look forward to trying other dishes... Most everyone in my group found something they liked, even the non vegetarians. read more

Figured I'd update my review since they recently made some menu changes. (Our waitress told us they changed a food product supplier or something). I was kind of sad that's the poutine is gone now, but we tried the new oyster mushrooms and they were fantastic. They also started using a fake-chicken patty instead of seitan on the Nashville chxn sandwich which I think was a good swap as the shape of the patty fits the bun a little better and is easier to eat! When a non vegan friend says where do you want to go eat and will still enjoy it, this is the place! We both had 1/2 sandwich and soup lunch specials. Reuben, Brisket and pumpkin soup were our choices. Quite tasty! I prefer the soup a little more puréed but that's just my preference. We also tried some fancy and beautiful non alcoholic drinks-Peace Blossom and The Drink That Makes You Never Have Bad Thoughts-both were supreme! Always incredible! Whatever you order, food, drink or both! I have never been disappointed. As someone with dietary restrictions, this place is somewhere I can eat guilt-free and worry-free. And I don't have to sacrifice flavor or quality for a healthy, allergen-minded meal. Not only is the atmosphere casual and the decor comfortable and lively (but not overwhelming) it feels so welcoming! The plant life everywhere keeps it fresh and brings just a bit of nature indoors, which is super great during cold weather. The wait staff are always kind, super helpful with recommendations and just overall great people - love talking to them! There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, each so artfully crafted and delicious! The cocktails are so fun and I'm always thrilled to see hard-kombucha on the menu - it's like a tipsy probiotic, haha. But the food is my favorite! I go for the Buffalo Mac 'n' cheeze, with salty greens and battered cauliflower 'meatballs' smothered in buffalo sauce. When we stop in for drinks we split some of the nachos or poutine. It's always crazy to think I'm eating nachos or poutine without dairy. My hubbs is a huge fan of the Nashville Chxn sandwich, but he really enjoys the burgers, too. Even if you aren't vegan/vegetarian or have dietary restrictions, you need to try this place ASAP! The Kentucky Fried Freedom is delicious! My girlfriend is from Atlanta and loved having food reminiscent of home. The fried "chicken" is seitan with a properly moist and fatty interior that plays perfectly against the crispy exterior. The mashed potatoes were the star of the show. Get those as a side with whatever you order! The lemon lavender cake is even better. The service was also great. Our waitress knew a lot about the menu and was excited to tell us about all the vegan desserts. I've never seen so many vegan dessert options at any restaurant even in much larger cities. There were probably 8 cake/pie options plus more cupcakes and cookies. We left absolutely stuffed and super satisfied. This was my first time having vegan food for dinner. A friend sent me the link to this place so I took a look at the menu. I am allergic to gluten and lactose intolerant, so I'm always on the look-out for those options and variety at restaurants. It was really great to see that most of the options here fit my needs. When I arrived I was immediately greeted and seated. There are different types of seats, booths, and tables. We were immediately given some water to sip on at the table. The menu has appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, Mexican dishes, soup and sides. The other side of the menu has smoothies, tea, juices, cocktails, wine, and beer. There are also specials available; see my attached pictures. I ordered the nachos, which comes with cheese and veggie toppings. I also ordered the "giddy up" burger with gluten free bread and no pickle. Love that name, lol. Maybe because horses are awesome. The nachos were shared by me an my friend. We really enjoyed it because of the cashew cheese, the veggie toppings, and especially the sweet heat of the jalapeños. That plate was wiped clean. The nachos were delivered very quickly; about 5 minutes after we ordered. The giddy up burger came with a vegan burger patty made mostly of black beans and brown rice. The giddy up burger tasted good for a vegan burger. I noticed the flavor of the beans, rice, onions, and especially the "special sauce", which reminded me of a spicy mayo. I also got a side of fries with my burger. Fries tasted great. I kept dipping them in the special sauce on my plate that was dripping off of my burger. Our food came after about 15-20 minutes, which was perfect timing, because we had just finished the nachos about 5 minutes before the food came. Our waitress was very nice, and seemed very cheerful and happy, as service in restaurants should be. What I liked about this restaurant: The gluten free and lactose free options. Lots of variety, the food quality is good, tastes good, is creative, and I can certainly feel the owner's passion for the food here. I completely ate everything that came out, was full, and felt fine the rest of the night. I didn't get a chance to have any deserts, but next time I am hanging out in the area, I might just have to stop by with my friends to get a piece of gluten and lactose free pie to-go. Minor improvements that could be made: Again, I like this place, but these are just some polite suggestions that could be used to tweak things for the better. My burger came with gluten free sliced bread as a bun. It was delicious, and I would eat it again, but it would be great to have a bigger and thicker gluten free bun. It would be great to laminate the menus so that they could be easily wiped off and a laminated menu for all of the yummy deserts. It would be great if there was some hard ciders available to drink. The stem ciders chili-guava is my favorite, as an idea, just sayin. And lastly, the pricing for the appetizers could be lowered a little. Not many people have the means to spend coming-up on $20 for an appetizer before dinner. Just saying. The price for most appetizers should be priced below $10. Lastly, I see that there are mostly fine wines available. They seem pretty costly for the average person and it would be great to have a cheaper sweet red and a cheaper sweet white on-tap for $5 a glass. For example, a Pinot Noir and Pinot Grigio available. Anything above $5 dollars a glass is costly for the average person. Overall, as a food and business critic, this place has my approval and I believe that it is one of the most dedicated vegan food restaurants in the Fort Collins area. Nice job! Keep the passion! Super excited this place is vegan/vegetarian. So many options! I got the Reuben with mashed potatoes, and my friend got the giddy up burger. The Reuben was on nicely grilled marble rye and had good flavor with the sauerkraut and cashew cheese. The sauerkraut could be more tart, and the hunk of tempeh was a bit much toward the end - overall a solid sandwich though! I'd love to go back and try the Cesar salad and desserts! read more

I have been to Tasty Harmony a number of times over the years. It's also allowed me over that period of time to experience other vegan restaurants within Fort Collins, Colorado, and around the country. On that level, Tasty Harmony is a good option but still not as amazing as other experiences that I've had. Their seitan wings are enjoyable enough but I've experienced better at other vegan restaurants. I've had their burger, reuben, philly, etc. Enjoyable but some of their items are just too salty. What's my point? In the end, Tasty Harmony is good and so that's why I'd put it at 4 stars. I've never had an experience that would lead me to drop it to 3 but comparatively to other vegan restaurants it just isn't on the same level to me. The experience dining in is nice as it is an enjoyable environment and I've been able to have good conversations there while eating. It's not overly bustling or unnecessarily loud. All in all, I still have positive feelings towards Tasty Harmony but, as I mentioned, it just doesn't rank at the top of the vegan experiences and I feel like if I was really yearning for a vegan experience I might even go to a different restaurant in Fort Collins for what I was looking for. read more

I LOVE this place! The vibe is light, open and casual with really friendly servers and the food is fresh, high quality, cruelty free and satisfying. On our most recent visit our family had the Burrito Blanco with a side salad, the Big Boy Burger with a side salad and a Daily Bowl with mashed potatoes, gravy, steamed greens, steamed veggies and tempeh. On past visits we've had the Black and Blue Burger with steamed veggies, the Reuben with mashed potatoes and gravy, and the Kentucky Fried Freedom plate. Everything we've tried has been good! Second time stopping in and switching things up a bit to try the menu variations out. So the cocktails are always the starting point and we tried a few different drinks. I really like the coconut drink. Even though it has chili vodka don't be scared off it's bite isn't as much as you would think. tried the Kentucky Fried Freedom... and yum liked it a lot. Love coming here! It's such a great vegetarian/vegan restaurant in Fort Collins. Brought a friend who is the kind of person who is picky if there's no meat options, but he absolutely loved it here. Their food is so full of flavor, and there are so many options. We have never left here unsatisfied. Our favorite here is the Black and Bleu burger with avocado, and the poutine! They also give you teapots full of your choice of tea. You really cannot go wrong with any of the food they have to offer. There are lots of cake and cupcake options, gluten free as well. I was leaving CO and heading to SD, where research indicated I'd be SOL in regards to vegan food. So I decided to stop here, cooler in tow, and grab some things for the road. The menu looked very promising, so much so that I had to talk myself out of over-ordering. I settled on a few things and called in my order. SEITAN HOT WINGS - ordered with buffalo sauce. They looked great but they didn't taste amazing. They were just ok. I would not order them again. KENTUCKY FRIED FREEDOM - Woo doggy! I was excited about this one! Deep fried seitan, taters n' gravy, black-eyed peas, and "garlicky greens!" This was bound to be a deep fried southern country classic! But just hold them dog-on horses...somewhere along the way the freedom train took a wrong turn and I ended up with a derailed yankee remake. I'm convinced that I'm just not a fan of their seitan, so that must just be my taste buds/personal preference. Can't blame anyone for that. However, those black-eyed peas and "greens" were a travesty and needed to be enslaved back in the pot and anointed with some seasoning and soul before they're set free again. They really should just say "salad" for those nearly raw "greens," cause ain't nobody's granny making greens like that in KY or any other southern or bible belt state. We're just gonna pray for those black-eyed peas, cause, whew chile! The blandness! The mashed potatoes and gravy were really good though. BLACK AND BLUE BURGER - This right here was the champ! Their house-made burger is blackened and seasoned to the core with cajun spices (THIS IS HOW YOU SEASON!), adding onion rings, roasted jalapeño, lettuce, pickles, and a vegan 1000 island and steak sauce. (I omitted the cheese and tomatoes, which also come with it.) This burger was PHENOMENAL!! It packed the perfect spicy punch. I did ask for extra sauces, which I didn't receive, but because it was so divinely seasoned, I was able to carry on and still enjoy this redeeming, 5-star meal. DESSERTS: I got a slice of VERY BERRY CAKE and a STRAWBERRY LIMEADE CUPCAKE. The cupcake was delicious and the cake was pretty good too. Their icing is excellent. I really wanted more stars for them, but some things were just not ok and I ended up throwing the wings and KY plate away, thus wasting money. I have a whole attitude about that. Nonetheless, I would 100% return. I have a rendezvous with that Black & Blue Burger, and I'm willing to give some of their other menu options a twirl in hopes of a more favorable overall experience. read more

An expensive disappointment~ This restaurant serves slender portions for inflated prices~ The Golden Cow drink tasted like it was blended with too much ice, watered down & very bland~ no real flavor yet boasting 'honey, ginger, black pepper'.... It was 46 degrees outside, and also very cold in restaurant on the window side- hard to relax or enjoy bc space uncomfortable ~ benches are hard & freezing... The food took forever as we waited so hungry & cold! the broccoli 'cheez' soup was also bland & def not 'tasty harmony'- i wld have left hungry for $20 if my friend hadn't fed me from his Samurai bowl, which was very good but under portioned for the price. Tasty Harmony is a vegetarians dream. The food they serve is very flavorful and can be enjoyed by non vegetarians too without ever being questioned for the lack of integrity put into the food. I came in with a friend and it was both of our first times at Tasty Harmony. We both decided on the lunch special where you can order either the half sandwich + soup or half sandwich + house or Cesar salad). I ordered the Bbq jackfruit sandwich with their soup of the day. It was my first time ever trying jackfruit and I have to say it was quite the experience. The protein is suppose to mimic pulled meat but the texture of the jackfruit was less tough than actual meat. I have to say the sandwich met my expectations and that bbq sauce is very yummy. You're not going to fool an omnivore at this restaurant but the food is really tasty so it's worth a try. read more

As I was fumbling through my usual Vegan Restaurant internet search while traveling through Fort Collins, CO, Tasty Harmony popped up, and what a wonderful find. They were happy to prepare my meal exactly the way I wanted it, and it was really terrific. Everyone was really nice, and the food came fairly quickly. Loved the food here so much. My date and I shared the poutine appetizer which was delicious! For entrees, I ordered the Kentucky Fried Freedom and the lady had the jackfruit BBQ sandwich. Both were incredibly flavorful, portions were huge, and so needless to say, we had to ask for a couple of boxes. I love to try new vegan restaurants and this place is a winner. The burgers are huge...a tip would be to ask for extra sauce as if you are a sauce lover like me, you will want more. The Ricky Bobby is yummy..a little spicy but worth the fire. And the rueben is also a winner...Inlove vegan rubans and this one did not disappoint. A surprising winner was the coconut curry...quite tasty with many Good veggies but needed more rice to balance it out. This restaraunt like many others in FOCO is overhyped, overpriced and not great tasting. They could use a menu overhaul and better trained staff. The owner seems to prioritize hiring pretty young girls with no restaraunt experience. Personally I'd prefer to interact with someone who has experience managing food allergies or with better communication. read more

What an amazing and delicious meal we had here. We started with the eggplant peanut soup, and then shared the linguini Alfredo and the curry dish. All of them were out of this world good. The raw strawberry cheesecake took us over the top. Yum all around. And our server was so sweet and attentive. I highly recommend this place for a great and wholesome meal. read more

This place was freaking awesome!!!! I just Popped in with my family for lunch. The decorations were super cool, unique and inviting. The music was awesome. The food was fantastic! We tried a bunch of different dishes and they were all bomb. The bleu cheese burger, harmony wrap, soup of the day (mung bean masala) Ruben, fries, and the peanut butter bar all get 5 stars in my book. Louisa was the wonderful human helping us. Our first impression was good based on the bright blue color of the booths alone. It also smelled really good. My friend ordered the mushroom poutine. She enjoyed it, but had to ask for salt, which is not on the table. My cashew cheese nachos arrived looking beautiful, but after the initial few chips from the top layer were gone, the amount of chips that were completely void of any topping seemed pretty high for the price. read more

I've been coming to TH for years. Was so sad and disappointed to see how bad it's gotten. I ordered Buffalo and Korean BBQ cauliflower wings. Gross. Cauliflower was raw on the inside. They've lost their touch. Celery was old dry and nasty. Caesar was meh with some dark rotten wilted bits. the lavender lemon cake was good though. Great restaurant for vegetarian/vegan option. I was doing a cleanse for a short while by not eating meat and sticking with plantation food. So, I decided to check this place out as I needed to branch out from same old menus of my cooking. First impression walking inside was wow there are a lot more people loving vegetarian food that I would expect. The restaurant was busy and turnovers were great at the time we were there. With that, service was a bit slow but bearable. No filling water but you just needed to ask for it to get attention. I could tell that they understaffed as all the servers ran around and so busy. Our server was very polite and informative on the food. He made sure all questions on the menu were answered properly. If he wasn't sure, he went finding answers for us so we really very appreciated that. The food was tasty and made us learn that vegetarian food wasn't boring as ones would think. The food was creative and delicious. We got the lettuce wrap and the Western bowl (didn't remember the whole name sorry). The wrap was my favorite as I felt all nutrients were there.
