My family had a fabulous dinner at this out-of-the way little restaurant in Windsor. The menu is lengthy with so many interesting choices. We chose the beef schwarma plate and the Sultan Combo to share. The former included rice, salad, and tzatziki sauce; the latter included gyro meat, chicken, falafel, rice, salad, baba ghanoush, hummus, and stuffed grape leaves. Foolishly, we had also ordered tabbouleh salad and creamed fava beans as appetizers. Both were huge in size. Way too much food for three of us, but we reveled in the scrumptious variety before us. Our beverages were mango lassi and mint lemonade. My wife swooned over the mint lemonade, so refreshing. Our dinner was made complete with an order of walnut baklava that was not overly covered in honey and was just delicious. Our server was quite helpful and friendly and we found the place to be comfortable with a welcoming nature. There are many more items to try on their menu, so we plan to be returning soon. read more

The falafel, the meats, all the food are so yummy! Cute little spot in a strip mall but has some of the best falafels I've had in awhile. Was in town to get a new to me vehicle and while they're getting the car ready we decided to stop by and check out this place. The falafel was fast, hot and tasty. We shared a 3-meats plate with chicken, kofta and beef. The food was a great amount to be shared between the 2 of us and the service was fast and nice. We walked in and were immediately greeted and told to take a seat. Staff was friendly, prompt, and informative. As for the cuisine... in hindsight sight I wish I had taken pictures. The food is colorful and visually appealing. We ordered the fried cauliflower which was flavorful and a good bite without being too soft or too crunchy. My lunch date who has been here 3 times previous, got the beef shawarma and says he is never disappointed. I chose to go with a dinner meal, the chicken shawarma New York style. I was not disappointed. Great flavor profile with chicken, peppers, onion, rice served with tzatziki and an incredibly creamy and smooth hummus with a slight tang of lemon, and flat bread. Love the serving dish for the dinner meal. The ambiance works with the various pictures of the Arabian region of the Mediterranean, and authentic music. My dish had plenty leftover and don't think it didn't come home with me. It would be a crime to leave it behind! The food was so good! Cozy place with authentic Middle Eastern food. For a starter, we ordered Arayes (grilled pita stuffed with seasoned meat) and it exceeded our expectations! Food is really good. The service was terrible the night we went. Very slow. Only one person covering the house and didn't seem to know what he was doing. Got our order wrong. Other patrons also upset. One told us it hadn't been that bad in prior visits so maybe this was an outlier. It is unfortunate given the quality of the food. read more

I was VERY disappointed for my first time with take out. I went on the website looking for a simple lamb gyro... What I got for 25 .00 was a thin sliced meat (very slaty) with rice and salad. I call ed " where's my Pita?". Oh that doesn't come with your plate " he said. . " If you come in we can explain. it to you". The food here is amazing and incredibly authentic. I love the tabouli apart from what we make it home. This is the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The Fatoosh salad is absolutely fabulous. The waiter came over after playing on his phone for 5-10 minutes ( we were there only people in the restaurant ) and took our order. Hummus and pitas were good. The pitas are the thinner and larger ones but good. The lamb kabobs and gyros plate came out and everything was very consistent with their sister restaurant in Fort Collins Petra grill. Unfortunately there were other consistencies as well. The seating is very uncomfortable like the one in Fort Collins... The wait service is nearly non existant as well which is fixable. I think the issues are two fold. You have a cultural difference... no smiles... not a welcoming vibe at all but also they just don't know how to wait on people.. once they bring you your food they never come back.. he didn't... they don't in fort collins either.. No refills... no how is it... no do you want a dessert which we wanted to try their pistachio baklava but I finally got up and went to the front and asked to pay just like at the petra grill in fort collins.. look... the food is ok.. it's worth making the effort but their hospitality is crap... teach your people how to serve here in America. We are not in Jordan and last time I checked this is NOT the middle east. We may or may not be back and it's not because of the food. read more

Not sure exactly when this place opened but it seems like they still have a lot of work to do. The ambiance is fun and ethnic but nearly everything is misspelled on the menu. There was actual permanent marker edits on nearly every page. I ordered the combo plate - one beef and one lamb kebab but I couldn't tell the difference in which meat was which. The portion of meat was small to what I'm used to. One of the kebabs was absolutely inedible while I enjoyed one of them but only mildly. The garlic sauce was way too spicy and had no essence of lemon or salt. Service was okay. I would really like a local kebab place but this just wasn't it. I will be back but not for a few months when hopefully they have worked out all the kinks. read more

This restaurant is AMAZING! The waiter was very kind and patient. The food was delicious. I got the Greek salad with gyros and it was really good. The only thing I will say is that there were chunks of lemon in the salad and I accidentally ate an entire chuck of lemon with the rind. The place itself was pretty calm. There wasn't any yelling coming from the kitchen and the music was just loud enough that you could hear it and you didn't have to yell across the table for your family members to hear you.
