We were super excited to eat this place. We started checking the menu several days before going and watched videos of reviews. The place is spacious abd there is ample space between tables. Well lit and it even smells clean. (I have very bad experience with hot pot places that offer sea food. ) We did make a reservation because there were 12 of us. We were quickly accomoodated and seated. The servers were really nice and quick to respond to requests. My daughter ordered the lamb pot, my son-the miso pot, my husband is the beef and I ordered lobster seafood pot with Thai flavor. The lamb and beef were served in smaller bowls. The miso and lobster slightly bigger. The soup bases all tasted different and they all taste very good.( i tried the broth each of my family member's broth) I ordered mine with Thai style broth. The amount of food on each pot looked bountiful. Mine had the lobster on top since I got the sea food one. The soup tasted like tom yum soup. There was a lotnof vegetables and unfortunately, not too many of the seafood. It had one mussel, 4-5 clams, 2 shrimp. I know I paid for the lobster buf. There were barely any seafood. A little disappointed but I also kind of expected that. I still liked the flavor and nearly finished all the veggies. I enjoyed it immensely. My family also enjoyed their orders. All their pots were finished. My son wasn't able to finish his on aacount of the broth being too hot. I think he regilator on hisnpot was broken and was on full blast all the time. This is by far my favorite location. It's clean, lots of seating with comfortable lounge seating, and a friendly & attentive staff. The QR menu worked great and works perfectly. My husband and I came here right when they first opened at 11:00am. Shortly after, it was got super busy! Maybe within 30 minutes of opening. It was our first time and I remember my sister was telling me about how good tastypot was and I'm glad it' opened in the Concord area. The menu was QR based so we were able to order everything we wanted & boba just using our phones! I let our server know it was our first time so she gave us a physical menu just to look at pictures. I ordered the beef pot which taste amazing! The only down fall was the clam shells at the bottom... I was scooping my broth and I can feel the shells in my mouth... super uncomfortable so I stopped sipping my broth. That damn near called it the end of my meal. My husband however had the spicy soup and he was unable to finish it. He let me know it taste amazing but he definitely took breaks in between. MY FAVORITE HOT POT SPOT -- finally, Tasty Pot opened a location in my area! This location is brand new to the Park & Shop Center and I have been waiting for it to open since they announced it. I used to visit the Dublin location frequently because that used to be the nearest location, but now Concord has their own Tasty Pot! Food is always good here and every time I visit, I get beef hot soup medium spicy with vermicelli. This is always a classic for me and it tastes delicious as these colder months come by. Service was fantastic. The staff does check for vaccination cards then seats you shortly after. So far, I've only eaten here on the weekdays, so I can't say how it is on the weekends if/when there are crowds but service here is very friendly and fast! read more

My family loves Hotpot. We regularly have hotpot for dinner at home. While it is always so much better to prepare all my favorite ingredients myself and eat at home, sometimes I just wanna eatout so I can skip all the preparations. We decided to try this place for dinner one day long ago, and my husband, my two kids and I liked their food. We went back for another dinner within a week because the food was that good. The third time, we took my mother in law and sister in law and they liked it too. Soon, I took my mom there too and she liked it so much too. And again, I took my daughter's boyfriend and he liked it too. The ordering process is very very easy. You just scan their QR code on the table with your smartphone and the menu page pops up. You just choose items on the menu and click to order. You don't even have to talk with anybody to order your food. It is cool. You can choose the levels of spiciness in 4 different levels. I think they are none, mild, spicy, flaming spicy something like that. I love spicy food and I can enjoy the famous Korean fire chicken noodles. If you know the fire chicken noodles, the spiciest level here is little bit less than the regular fire chicken noodles. Another good thing is that you get points every time you order. I don't even care how the point system works, but the points add up and I can redeem at least one drink every I go there. I haven't been there lately because it's been so hot. Tried this place this weekend and there was a small wait, but not bad. We got seated and I ordered the kimchi individual hotpot with no spice..next time, I'll get the mild just for a little kick. Everything was yummy and fresh inside. After about 15 minutes, my pot started to boil and discovered there is a lever on the pot that you can turn it down or shut off. Wish someone told us but luckily we just discovered it. What is also great about this place is that they have boba too. Always appreciate a one stop shop to get hotpot with boba. I am so excited to have a tasty pot near me. My husband and I used to go to Tasty pot at least once a month when we lived in SoCal. I love Taiwanese food especially stinky tofu (stinker the better!). We had to wait a bit on Saturday during lunch time but once we got our table and ordered through the app, it didn't take too long. The restaurant is open and clean. Food and service was good. Had high hopes for this place & expectations that it would be simlar to the establishment in Dublin but it was not. The broth wasnt as flavorful & it was a let down. It was super hot heat wise & spicy level was on point but the broth was watery. The boba tea drinks were okay too. I got 3 drinks, all were just okay. I would rather drink water. Also they do not have the side sauces which i love. I probably wont come back tbh & make the extra drive to the other location. If sitting in front of a bowl full of somewhat unidentifiable ingredients does not appeal to you then this is probably not the restaurant for you. Having said that, I ordered the beef soup. My husband ordered the pork soup and we both thoroughly enjoyed the portions, plus they were huge for the price. My only complaint was I was supposed to have some mushrooms in mine, if there were mushrooms in mine, I couldn't identify them although my husband could. So it just felt to me like if you're totally unfamiliar with hot pots, which we wer, then maybe this is not your first try. First time here. I have actually never had hot pot that was not homemade so was really excited. I wasn't even sure what to expect. The place was very packed but i guess it's because I went during dinner time. We ordered our food and it arrived shortly after. I did get medium spice level and I know spicy is subjective but it really tasted bland. Thankfully I was able to get spicy sauce on the side to give it a little kick. Tasty Pot is amazing. The service is quick and easy. You order on your phone through a QR code so it's super easy to order more dishes or additional beverages. The hot pot is an experience in it own. I love how I get to cook my own egg and noodles while enjoying a crazy flavorful bowl. I highly recommend the kimchi bowl but all the bowls are good! Oh, and you have to order a boba to go with your meal. All of the flavors are good but the mango is my favorite. It's usually busy inside but that is to be expected because the food is so tasty. The environment is so fun and you can see that everyone around the restaurant is enjoying their experience. 4.5 rounded up. I had the lamb hot pot. Broth is really flavorful, lamb is very lean and sliced very thin, zero gamey taste. A very good variety of stuff in the bowl, like cabbage, blood cake, meatball, clams, noodles. For portion size, I thought it was sufficient, but maybe a touch more meat would have been good. Its not like I left hungry, but I wasn't stuffed. After I ate, I wasn't super thirsty like I sometimes feel after hotpot. I did also taste the beef hot pot, and I thought the meat was a little bland. There's dipping sauce that is good. I felt like the lamb didn't need the dipping sauce, but the beef did. It was hard to control the heat level. There's a lever on the side that I think controls the flame, but it seemed to only work on mine. We couldn't get my parent's flames to turn off, so the food was too hot and they had to eat really slow. We came on a Tuesday at noon, and the place was about half full, filled up a little bit more by the time we left but no line. Overall, if you feel like having a variety, its a good choice. If you want more quantity, then go to AYCE places like Shabuya. They are priced similarly for lunch, with Tasty Pot being very slightly cheaper. read more

I discovered this place two months ago and have been back 3x already. The beef hot soup is by far my favorite and the broth is so full of flavor, and love that there are so many different ingredients in the "hot pot". The soup ingredients are all cooked so no need to worry about under- or over-cooking anything. The fried appetizers (gyoza, basil chicken) are also good, but nothing beats the beef hot soup with instant noodle! Service is also excellent compared to other nearby locations - they always give extra plates and bowls, refill the soup when it starts to run low, and even give free iced green tea. I also appreciate they seal the water and tea cups to avoid spills when I'm here with my kids. We always try to come early because it gets really busy, especially on the weekends. Newer much needed Taiwanese restaurant in a big shopping center with a lot of parking. Came in on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. Make sure you check in on their device sitting at the counter - it's not directly in front so placement isn't very good. We waited 10-15 minutes so not terrible. Staff wasn't overly welcoming but the person that checked us out was friendly. Sichuan hot pot - my husband really liked this. He got it medium and it was already a perfect spice for him. He has a high tolerance for spice. Flavorful with a lot of various fish ball type items he likes. 10/10 Thai hot pot - the broth itself was good with a lot of variety of items. I personally don't care for fish balls. It came with mussels and clams which were fine but ask came with half a blue crab that i couldn't eat. It also came with shrimp which were really good and not hard to peel surprisingly. 7/10 Lamb slices - if you like lamb flavor, these are super lamby in taste. It came already cooked, i expected them to come raw. Pretty generous amount as well. 8/10 Chicken skins - i was pretty excited for these but they weren't as crispy as i had hoped for. There was an initial crunch but was slightly chewy after the first bite. Flavor was good but i got these for the texture/crunch mostly and it wasn't there. 4/10 Winter melon tea with foam and boba - this foam? Hands down the best I've had. Very full, very creamy. Not overly sweet and had just a slight salt flavor. The boba was meh, it was chewy but borderline mushy. The tea itself was too sweet even if i asked for it with 0% sugar. Next time I'd swap this out for black tea and grass jelly. 7/10 Overall, I'd for sure come back. I will say i do not like the idea of not being able to customize what does/does not come in the pot. To be fair, this is a different style of hot pot (not AYCE where you choose items you to cook on your own) so not being able to fully customize is not something I'm used to. read more
