I love love love when a Thai restaurant serves their Tom Kha in a festive dish. It was heated in style. They do have a different name for it here, coconut lemongrass soup. The taste was a bit more sweet than most Thai restaurants I've been to. Service was ok and probably needed another server then just one for a Friday afternoon. I liked the parking situation for this location. There was a few available street parking and they even have a parking lot next to them and close by. Entrance is on lot side as well but the main entrance is on the street side. I enjoyed the roti but curry sauce was a bit bitter than most other Thai locations. Pricing was reasonable. Definitely a great location for dates, friends and family for a delicious meal.

Great Thai restaurant in downtown Martinez. Food is tasty and fresh. The spicy basil chicken was outstanding! The pumpkin curry was also quite nice. Good service also

It's my first time here, and everything went well. The food, service, and ambiance. This restaurant just became my favorite restaurant in Downtown Martinez. I'll be coming back again!

Just along the main strip of town, this place is busy. We stopped by early morning just a little after they were opened. Even mid week and there was a massive line already forming. They must be good. There's two entrance, first being the main where the front door is. Patio seating available along the sidewalk. And then the back entrance where the majority of the seating is outside. It's like a secret garden with all the trees and plants. Somewhat a treehouse feel as well. They have 2 levels with tables. Beautiful spot sitting there under the tree having a nice cup of joes and a beautiful pastries. Indoor also has some seating along the front and I believe there's a second floor right above the entrance. There's mainly one line for everything. You wait to place your order if you wanted pastries and food. I think you could just order drinks at counter if you're not getting food but don't quote me on that. Everyone was waiting together. Once you reach the top, there's the counter of fresh baked pastries that's made daily. Things do sell out pretty fast. We literally arrived not long after they open and the ham and cheese croissant was already sold out. Besides pastries, there's fresh baked bread. Coffee drinks were pretty good too. After you pick what you want, the cashier is at the end and that's where you pay. There's a counter at the back where drinks are picked up. The whole place has an open kitchen feel where you could actually see all the workers preparing the sweets. In the back kitchen, you could walk by and see the pastries chef preparing and putting together the fresh sweets. It's like you're part of the kitchen. It's a cute place and it does get busy. The locals know about this place so it a hot spot. The holiday makers know which their names is getting out there and making a big splash for them. We've been a few times while in town and each time, alway busy and great. Amazing pastries and good drink. It is on the pricer side but that's pretty much everywhere you go these days.

Driving home from a pool day I was super hangry and needed tacos. Pulled up Yelp, sorted Mexican food restaurants by distance and found La Primavera. They were super busy at 5:30pm on Saturday night. It took about 20 minutes to get my take out order (my dog was in the car so I had to take out although I get a feeling they would not have minded if I brought her inside). Two tacos, one steak, one chicken, and a chicken enchilada with rice and beans. Ate the tacos when I got home and they were just so perfect. I can't even describe how delicious they were (and no, it was not just because I was hangry). I just ate the enchilada meal today for lunch and wow, just wow. So authentic, so on point. I'm in love. For the ambiance - it's set up like a diner inside with booths and counter seating. Not very big but the outdoor patio offers a lot of additional seating. Great price point for the quality of the food. I found my new favorite and I don't see myself eating Mexican anywhere else. Singing "Nothing Compares to You" to my enchilada, with my mouth full, as I devour it. And my dog is mad at me because I greedily would not give her a bite.

I met my friends Sarah and David for dinner here on 11/04/2025. We walked in at 5:30pm and were immediately greeted by the lone female server, who seated us at a table towards to back of the restaurant. The interior was very clean, and lighting was soft and warm. The giant restaurant logos on the walls were prominently displayed. Their menu featured a wide array of appetizers, soups, bibimbaps, cold and hot noodles, meat dishes, etc. We opted against their signature kalbijjim and instead got three entrée combos (L.A. galbi, spicy pork, and bulgogi). Each entrée came with our choice of tofu soup. Half a dozen banchans were brought to us before the arrival of the entrées. The buchu (chives) and baechu (Napa cabbage) kimchi were excellent. Our food took about 15 minutes to arrive. Portion wise, the tofu soups were of decent size, but the meat entrées were kind of stingy (they were served in small round skillets). I had the seafood tofu soup and it was very good. It was loaded clams, shrimp, and squid. We shared the entrées, and they all tasted great. The only gripe I had was a couple pieces of the galbi had very little meat on them. Service we received was great. Our server was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The total was somewhere around $130 (with a bottle of soju, a tangerine slushy, and a soda). Overall, we all thought the food was good. Return trip very likely. 4 stars.
