The broth was reallygood! The owners were both working today and the service was wonderful. The owners were friendly and very appreciative of my business. He mentioned that they go to the market each morning to buy their produce each morning and they use the same resource as Erewhon. They use quality ingredients and once they're out if something, they're out for the day. The ambiance is casual and cozy. You can fit groups of people in there. I've been a regular here for almost two years now and I absolutely love it. I always get the pork ramen and I've switched it up between extra pork or added shrimp and it is just so delicious. It is so rich and full of flavor, I can't get enough. I tried the pho and although it was great, I was missing the richness and spice of the ramen. Another amazing dish I've tried is the yakisoba shrimp. It is so so so delicious and savory. I don't get desert often but the mango sorbet they have is so so good and it hits the spot after ramen. Service is always top tier, the owner makes conversation with you and the servers remember your face and make friendly small talk. The ambience is super nice as well, the door is always open so it doesn't feel awkward to take with whoever you're eating with and there is always nice instrumental playing. Updated Review: I originally visited this restaurant during a lunch break with my supervisor. I mistakenly ordered the wrong soup and immediately asked to switch it. The staff took it back and brought the correct soup -- but when I went to leave, I was told I needed to pay for both soups including the one they took back. I calmly asked if they could simply return the original soup or make an exception since the mistake was realized right away. Instead, I was met with condescension and zero willingness to resolve the issue professionally. To avoid a scene in front of my boss, I paid the fee and left. Later, I left an honest review reflecting this poor experience. Rather than acknowledging the mistake or the aggressive customer service, the owner responded by making personal attacks, falsely accusing me of being a "Karen" and even suggesting racial bias -- which was not only untrue, but deeply inappropriate. Instead of addressing my legitimate complaint, they deflected blame and escalated things further. What was most disturbing, however, is that the owner somehow identified my workplace (likely from my visible work badge during lunch) and contacted my executive director in an attempt to intimidate me into removing my review. That is completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Fortunately, my employer stood firm and made it clear that this was a personal consumer issue and not a work matter. They wouldn't stop the harassment and my employer had to ask the business owner to stop contacting them any further. I also disputed the charge with my bank and won. My financial institution sided with me, which should tell you something about the ethics of this business practice. This experience wasn't just about a soup -- it was about how a business handles mistakes, treats people, and reacts to honest feedback. Unfortunately, this business chose to double down on poor behavior rather than act with any integrity. The fact that some other customers have had good experiences doesn't negate what happened to me, nor does it excuse the owner's behavior. Let this review serve as a heads-up.
