It's not that far from my house, and they give you a complimentary donut, when you order a lunch combo. You'd think I'd frequent Tasty's, but I don't. The lunch service is horrendous, and the prices are steep, for what you get. My preference, for lunch is their chicken pesto panini, & a side salad. The side salad is the kind that comes from a bag, so nothing great. But the chicken pesto sandwich is decent. If a free donut can make up for sub-par food & service, Tasty's is the place to go. read more

I've read the reviews and think to myself "Did I go to the right place?" Yes I am in Kaysville. This place was filthy! I went around 1:30 pm for a donut and coffee. The floors and tables were all dirty. The bathroom was worse, no TP, trash can falling over with paper towels. The donut was dry, terrible taste like store bought boxed donuts. Hard to swallow with just water. They didn't have coffee made, the teenage boy asked,"do you want me to make a new pot?" I looked at him in disbelief, I am a customer, what does he think? But I said no! Him and the other kids behind the wall were having too much fun. Sad, this could be a great home town place. read more

Sign and Website say they are open till 7pm. I went in at 6:25pm and was told they aren't making sandwiches at this time because they are closing. Go elsewhere! If you can't make a sandwich a 1/2 hour before you close. I guess you really don't want to be in business read more

Sadly the reviews here are true. the donuts are pretty good, but the owner it seems, can't be troubled to get off her phone. I've been here 4 times and every time she was seated in the dining room on her phone talking on what was clearly a personal call. Tried to come here before a funeral. There workers were so painfully slow that we had to leave before even ordering. Saw multiple people walk out because they were taking too long. It shouldn't take this long to put donuts into boxes and check people out. You're losing business because people don't want to wait so either hire more help or train your employees to be faster read more

A quiet, out of the way place that offers wonderful potato flour (I think) doughnuts. A truly local business that makes wonderful food. Their "buns" are a hidden treasure. Whenever the traffic on SB I-15 is slow I make a point of hopping off the highway and pickup a wonderful breakfast bun (offered in different lengths, depending on your hunger level). Each such bun comes with a free doughnut. Trust me, patronizing this local business is not only the right thing to do, it will make you very popular at work when you stroll in with a dozen or more of their doughnuts (and a breakfast bun for yourself) :) read more

I grew up frequenting the old Tasty's on 2100 South in Sugarhouse and their spud donuts where some of the best around. Well they closed 10+ years ago so when I moved to South Davis I was excited to learn there was one left in Kaysville. Well it's a far cry from what they used to be. I went for lunch and at noon the maple bar I had was so dry that honestly I've had better from grocery store bakeries. Not to mention that if you buy a dozen donuts for $9 anything without a hole in it counts as 2 donuts. What a jip! If you're in the mood for a donut bypass this place and go south 1 mile down the road to Bowman's where they don't disappoint. Absolute best place in Davis Co to get sandwiches and fries. LOVE their fry sauce! Each combo order gets a free doughnut. Their doughnuts are HANDS DOWN better than any bakery in that area. Tasty's has always been a favorite of mine! I believe they have new owners now, and although it seems impossible the donuts are even better than before! The donuts are pretty average donuts. The maple donut, however, was delicious! I got donut holes, a maple donut, and a raspberry filled donut for about five dollars, so the pricing wasn't bad. I haven't tried the food. The place looks a little run down on the outside, but it is still a nice little place. The staff was helpful, albeit not overly cheerful. It's worth a try, though. If you like donuts, might as well go to Tasty's. read more
