It's been a year since we found this amazing, dedicated gluten-free truck, and everyone remembered the cheese curds fondly. There was almost always someone in line or waiting for their order every time I passed Auntie M's food truck. I love the teal truck with a drawing of Auntie M and the clear signage advertising "Gluten Free". The staff knows their allergen information and are friendly even when it's busy. I've been hearing good things about this place, so I decided to make my way to Victory Memorial Parkway and give it a try. I was surprised to find that they're not on Yelp yet, as they have been selling out of sandwiches regularly! I ordered the bodega buddy, the potato salad, and a cream soda. The sandwich was much larger than I expected and extremely filling! This would be a great meal after a long hard day of work, or to stay fueled up over lunch! It was yummy and the hamburger meat was balanced out by the fresh toppings like pickle-relish, and raw sliced jalapeños. The potato salad was a creamy homestyle dish with a bright twist through the use of fresh dill! I washed it all down with a cold pop from Northern Soda Company! Gotta love local businesses supporting other local businesses! They post their menu and schedule on Instagram, so look there first for any updates. I ordered Shrimp Banh Boi and Bodega Buddy with potato salad. Both sandwiches were very tasty. I liked the Banh Boi slightly more because of shrimp in it. The potato salad was very good as well. Very satisfied with the quality, quantity, taste, price and service I received. I grabbed a Brown Butter Chocolate Cip Cookie for the ride home and that was awesome as well!

I ordered 2 burgers to check-out what PJ's is all about. First, I got the PJ Burger. It has to be good since it's named after the truck, right? It came with Pepper Jack Cheese, bacon, peanut butter, and last but not least, a sweet grape reduction. It was great. Second, I got the Reuben Burger. This one came with corned beef (on top of the beef patty) sauerkraut, Swiss Cheese, and 1000 Island Dressing. They were out of pretzel burger buns but it was still good. In the past, I've tried a ground beef burger with corned beef ground into the beef patty. But I've never had it on top. I think it's better on top because you can taste it better. This truck specializes in savory food options like a brisket sandwich, chili, beer mac & cheese, a turkey breast sandwich, and more (see menu board photo). While waiting for my food, I had a nice conversation with the owner. He's a trained chef and I'm not surprised after eating my food.
