    Chicken katsu sandwich
    Corrina Q.

Came here for a quick lunch and it did not disappoint! The chicken in my sandwich was cooked perfectly and had a great sauce on it. The milk bun as the bread was also a nice touch. Since I was in Boston, I definitely needed a slice of Boston creme pie. It was delicious! I would love to try their coffees and other pastries next time I come by :) Lines get long for lunch and things do sell out quickly so plan on either waiting or coming a bit earlier. There is seating upstairs and downstairs but it does get filled pretty quickly.

This was a great bakery shop that we tried. They had excellent baked goods and some really yummy breakfast and lunch items. Croissants, muffins, cakes, sandwiches, etc. We ordered online and the process was very smooth and easy. When I arrived, I looked for my bag on the "pick up" shelf and walked away with it. There are several of these around town...check them out...

Food: WOW. Best salad I have ever had. Everything was so fresh and flavorful! Service: Food was fast, despite being a busy Sunday afternoon. Ambiance: 2 floors of seating, it's nice and warm inside with natural lighting. So happy I stopped by while in the area.

Cinnamon bun and half a scone.

The bottom line: 4.5 stars for good coffee, quick service, and killer pastries (especially when warm). The cinnamon bun was soft, supple, and had just the right amount of cinnamon and glaze. Warmed, it was oh so tasty paired with the black house drip coffee. (Bit of a coffee snob and whatever beans they had were in point and well brewed.) The ham & cheese croissant had a delightful amount of crackle and sharp cheese flavor. The breakfast sandwich was good, with a pillowy brioche bun, but a bit too much dressing and the egg and other contents could use a flavor punch. Industrial chic atmosphere that seems to work and definitely would be back fire the chance.

Perfect location on Cambridge Street, busy In the morning. I waited in line for about 10 minutes, And the line moves slowly. Amazing selection of pastries And hot food. I got the breakfast cookie, which includes oats, nuts, fried fruits. Went for the healthy option, And frankly it was delicious! Highly recommend for a fiber-rich meal to start your morning. I also got a vanilla latte, And I could not taste the vanilla. It was okay. If you're looking for privacy, walk up the stairs and check out the extra seating, highly recommend Bar stools near the window, nice way to see the views And enjoy your breakfast with your friends.

chai TEA... not a latte BLT

the food and pastries were so worth the money!! they have cold pressed juices as well. i did make the mistake of ordering their chai, thinking it was a chai latte and not just a tea... my bad!! the coffee wasn't great and the wait time wasn't bad either. the place friendly staff and it made for a cute cozy brunch :)

    Chocolate cream pie
    Julia L.

The chocolate cream pie is very rich but not at all too sweet. I would recommend for those who like desserts that have depth and a darker/richer flavor. A bit more pricey than other options, but the quality of the chocolate tastes good. Tasting the crust on its own reveals it has a pleasant, mild flavor. Some bites of the crust had a sort of nutty flavor almost. The cream on top was a good balance to the richer flavor of the chocolate, although the richness is still very strong (almost to the point of being overpowering, but not quite). Also not sure but maybe they use some coffee to deepen the chocolate flavor?

I stopped in here for breakfast and to work for an hour. They were very busy on a Thursday morning. Excellent chai and pastries, and I used the wifi to get some work done while sitting at the window, people-watching.

    Spinach quiche
    Juanna F.

Wow. The pastries and quiche were amazing! I cannot wait to come back and try more when I visit again. I tried the sticky bun, brown sugar cinnamon roll, and vegan chocolate chip cherry muffin. Every bite was delicious especially with sips of hot coffee in between. I also had the spinach cheese quiche, which took a bit long to make but it was worth it- so yummy! They are pretty busy inside and I can see why. There are a few seats downstairs and upstairs. I enjoyed the view of the outside while sitting upstairs.

There is a reason why there is always a line at Flour. I think this might've been the best egg sandwich I've ever had. These fine folks know how to make a sandwich whether it's for breakfast or lunch. Super fresh ingredients with just the right portions and seasonings. They do have an app so that you can order ahead - which I recommend. You can choose the line to place an order with an actual human being or there are digital kiosks for ordering. Seating is limited, but there is space upstairs with additional tables available.

I went with two scoops, black raspberry and brownie chocolate, and the brownie was killer. Rich, chocolatey, and totally worth standing outside in 30 degree weather to eat it. I devoured it without hesitation. There were so many great flavor options, and my friends all found something they loved too. It felt like one of those classic, must-stop dessert spots. Cold, delicious, and just the right amount of chaotic fun... it was wicked good.

There was plenty of seating inside and we had no trouble finding an open spot to sit down and enjoy our ice cream. There also wasn't a line which was really nice! My boyfriend got the mint chip in a waffle cone, and I got the salted caramel cookies n creme in a cup with sprinkles on it. While I do usually prefer my ice cream order to my boyfriends....i do have to admit that I liked his more. Don't skip the waffle cone like I did. Definitely a great stop to add to your day in boston! The flavors are always great, and there's seasonal flavors which rotate that are always fun to try.

We weren't sure how to enter, so we started in the bookstore and found their convenient elevator downstairs! The restaurant is tiny but cozy, which is the perfect atmosphere for a book store! We sat outside in the little courtyard and it's a mix of magical and relaxing! There were only a few tables, so it wasn't overcrowded and with nice weather, it was perfect. I had a salad with salmon on the side which was delicious - and the ginger lemonade - wonderful! From buttered noodles to seafood, everything was executed well. The staff didn't rush us even though they were busy - and they had to give really long wait times to a number of others, but we still weren't rushed. I would highly recommend reservations, but even without we were treated very well. Pricing was in line with city pricing - and the food was extremely high quality and produce was lovely - not a shriveled lettuce leaf in sight. We then went upstairs to the bookstore and perused - each floor has something fun to see (including a tiny kids door - or is it a mouse door for the mouse who stars in the book about the store?!). 100% worth a visit - definitely stop in!

The place is so adorable and photogenic, no doubt! But beyond that?…read more I had hoped to come enjoy a book, but unfortunately, Instagram has turned this cute bookstore into a tourist site. Long loud tourist lines for the restroom make it hard to actually sit for a moment enjoying this beautiful space.
