My friend and I came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon around 2pm. It wasn't that busy and we had no problem getting a table. I had the halloumi and sunnyside sandwich, which I've had before and is delicious every time. I also tried an iced black sesame latte, which was delicious (although on the sweeter side). Came on a Sunday morning and it was busy busy! Tables seemed to turn quickly so we were able to snag a small table in the corner. We each got a basic breakfast and the sandwich was so delicious! Had a great experience here! While it was busy, even at 8am, we didn't have to wait too long for food. The pistachio croissant and the mozzarella sandwich were delicious! Really enjoyed our breakfast at Tatte. This location had plenty of seating, so it was easy to grab a table. We ordered coffee and our food at the counter and grabbed our seats. We both ordered drip coffee, which was great. The Traditional Shakshuka was hot & delicious and paired perfectly with their bread. My husband enjoyed the Egg in the Hole, which he had never had before. I enjoyed my experience so much, I stopped in a different location the next day and tried different items. Traveled to Boston roughly 2 months ago and almost forgot to leave a review for this gem! Food: I loved the shakshuka I ordered! The berries tasted fresh and the cream was lightly sweet! Drinks: I ordered the London fog. It tasted fine. There wasn't anything too special about it, but it kept me warm as it snowed outside. My sisters also thought their drinks, the matcha and coffee latte, were fine. It wasn't bad but also wasn't the greatest. Service: The line was long, but it moved rather quickly! The servers were very quick and efficient. No complaints! Overall: This was a gem traveling through Boston! All the foods tasted as good as they looked. Very fresh and warm. This is right along some good site in Boston, so it's convenient, but the prices are slightly higher than other locations. There are also very few outlets if you wanted to plug in. But the food options are great from meals to sweet treats to warm drinks. We did get the house platter and the oatmeal, which was a little watery but overall, both were good breakfast options. The almond croissant was the star. Despite the risks associated with powdered sugar, it was big, flaky, and filled with creamy, nutty goodness. The extra protein of almonds on top veer this into a possibly healthy pastry, so go for it. We were trying to see where we could have brunch for our last day in Boston and Tatte was such a good call. The lamb hash was so good. I really wasn't expecting much since Tatte felt like a "chain" but the hash so savory, perfectly seasoned. They have a separate bar for coffees but ordering is in one place which is beside the pastries. I ordered a flat white and a plain croissant, and they gave me a number. My order arrived quickly at my table which was great. The croissant was buttery and flaky, but I wish I'd asked them to toast it as it was a little on the cold side. The flat white was good, though I was hoping for some latte art based on the photos I'd seen online, so that was a bit of a letdown. I loved Tatte in DC so I was excited to find it here while visiting Boston. Sadly the experience fell very flat. The customer service was extremely poor. Everyone was extremely rude and unhelpful. I saw they had gluten free options and so when I went to order, I asked if the gluten free bread was also dairy free (I have an allergy to both dairy and gluten). The girl at the register said she didn't know and that the kitchen wouldn't know either because they don't make it here--which is pretty concerning for a food establishment to not know what is in their own food being served. Thankfully the girl next to her said they can check the packaging and told her to go ask. Well she came back and said it was not vegan--not what I asked! I told her egg was fine and that I am not vegan, just dairy free. She said well it's not dairy free and didn't try to clarify. So that removed most of my satisfying options. They were also out of a ton of stuff even though we got there at 9 in the morning--had no sausage. So I ended up just getting scrambled eggs and prosciutto without Parmesan and bread. Literally just eggs and prosciutto. I also got an iced vanilla latte half sweet. When i confirmed with the baristas they used gluten free oatmilk, I was met with extreme attitude. Well then the latte was sickeningly sweet so I made the mistake of asking them to fix it. They were obviously and aggressively unpleased and made me what was probably the worst latte I had ever had. I am almost certain they used espresso waste or something like that. My husband said "that tastes like a$$". So it was not just me being particular. Truly some of the rudest and most awful service I've ever experienced. Food was not worth the treatment and was also very overpriced. Genuinely shocked at the positive reviews, they must have had different employees or I guess I just get treated with ire for having allergies I can't control. I wish i didn't have them either! Came here for a quick warm drink in the early evening and it was relatively empty. Service was a bit flippant honestly and the drink took a long time to come out despite there being no other ordering customers which was a bit weird. The space felt relatively clean and similar to other Tattes so the brand remained strong in that aspect. The tea I got was pretty expensive for the size and quality, but that's Tatte. I came for a spot to sit while waiting for my next schedule so it was a solid experience in that aspect, but if I ever just need a drink, I'd probably go somewhere else for more reliable service and reasonable prices. read more

Tatte's food and coffee are amazing, but their prices have gotten really high. For lunch I like their chicken pita wrap (it's delicious and low calorie) and my go-to drink is a latte. Their food/drink rating for me is a 5+, however given how expensive everything is, especially downtown, I docked them a star. Probably not their fault as I know prices are going up everywhere. There is a lot of seating space which is nice (but fills up during peak hours). The service is friendly and they bring your order out based on your order number. They are quick and efficient and their pastries always look very tasty though I usually stick with my pita and latte! read more

We dined here out of pure convenience as it was located right next to our hotel -- and let me tell you, I am soooo happy we found this place. It is beyond delicious, convenient, and so cute!
