iced matcha latte with oat milk
Melena S.

Cute cafe right by Seaport, the Financial District, and Chinatown! They serve beverages, pastries, and actual food! Big and small bites! I went in on a Monday around noon and there no wait and the service was quick! Happy to share that the hot and iced beverages are roughly the same price! At least for matcha lattes, which is what I got -- a small, iced matcha latte with oat milk. I didn't mention sweetener and I'm not sure if they put it in but it was yummy! $5.62 after tax for a small. It's been a personal goal to check out different cafes in Boston and this one was pretty good for what I got. Not sure if I'd dive into anything else but it's good to know that the matcha lattes are good :)

Sorelle on Congress in Boston

There are three Sorelle's in the vicinity, so be sure you're getting the right one. We stopped into the one on Congress near the Federal Reserve building for breakfast today. It's a small place and it was busy this morning! Ordering at the counter and our breakfast sandwiches were prepared to order. Mom and I both got salmon bagels, getting the last of their "everything." The bagels were okay, different than what I was expecting. These seemed more baked than boiled and baked as a bagel should be. Still tasty and the cream cheese, salmon, onion and tomato were good. Coffee was rich and extremely hot. Wowzer!

Cool little location nestled in the heart off the seaport. I had a bagel that had a little more to be desired but the overall quality was there. I did a full review specifically on the bagel if you want to check it out: https://youtu.be/tIRKtrndjQM

Stopped for a quick iced coffee after an ICA visit. Crew wasn't too sociable but coffee was good.

Prosciutto panini. Delish!

Upon arriving in Boston in the early afternoon, my two friends and I were looking for a cute little coffee shop that was relatively close to South Station. We ended up decided on Sorelle and made our way there with the superior mapping app: Google Maps. I ordered a caramel latte and a prosciutto panini. The panini was delicious, albeit the prosciutto was on the saltier side. Nevertheless, it still hit the spot. A lot of the reviews on here talk about how the service was really bad. It's strange because I had a great experience! The two young workers were chatty, funny, and quick to get things done. Maybe it's because we seemed to be around the same age as them (college student age), but there was not a single thing wrong with our experience there. Sorelle had wifi, outlets, and a clean and modern vibe to the place. The only thing I would suggest is to add larger tables with more seating so more than two people can sit together without feeling cramped.

We came here twice while in Boston. The guy behind the counter is By himself and is incredibly fast and on point. We had coffees and a breakfast sandwich. If you want a quick bite come here!

Bacon, egg and cheddar with veggies on country white, berry oat bar, and an iced tea.

It's a Saturday. Not much open around here for breakfast except for Panera up the road or this lovely place. My bff works next door and often says how good this place is. I was going to stroll to Panera but came here instead. Breakfast sandwiches are delicious. They have egg and cheddar, potato spinach fritatta wrap, Nutella and banana panini and some other scrumptious items. Lunch items look tasty too. I got a bacon, egg and cheddar on country white with arugula, caramelized onions and tomato. Yummy!! I was happy that I could customize it a little. Desserts and breakfast sweet things (oat bars, muffins etc) look and taste good. I tried the berry oat bar and it's pleasant. Not too sweet and very yummy. Service was good and staff were happy to answer my questions about random things. Tasty!!

Fantastic fresh sandwich. Both the roast beef and tuna are excellent. The iced London fog is fantastic. How was this only three stars???

Ingredients are super fresh and tasty. I LOVE the pressed juices, they are a bit up there in price but the bottles are reusuables and a good size. You can also have juices pressed to order which come out tasting so so good. The menu is expanssivee. So far, I am a huge fan of the pita, hummus, labneh, anything with meat (smash burgers and brisket breakfast sando), and they have pretty decent mac. I'm excited to continue eating my way through their options. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. The restaurant is bright and bubbling. The servers are very kind and always helpful with menu questions. It can get quite busy but service moves quick. I have ordered ahead and ordered in person and never had an issue. If you are in a rush around lunch definitely do yourself a favor and order ahead. If you have time, the wait is never usually more than 10-15 mins and goes by quick. It had a crunchy, sugary exterior with a soft, buttery center and a delicious streusel swirl throughout. The texture contrast was spot on -- crisp on the outside and tender in the middle. Definitely a pastry I'd order again. The iced pistachio latte, however, didn't meet expectations. Instead of a smooth pistachio flavor infused into the coffee, there were actual pieces of pistachio that settled at the bottom and repeatedly clogged my straw. It required more chewing than sipping, which wasn't what I anticipated. I was hoping for a pistachio syrup or sauce blended seamlessly into the drink for a smoother experience. Overall, the visit was okay. The pastry was a standout, but the latte fell short. Prices are on the higher side, though that's fairly expected for Boston.

It's a little bit of a European vibe with the small tables and I love that there is a big window into the kitchen so you can watch the pastries being made. I also tried an iced flat white but it wasn't as good.. something about the steamed milk with the perfectly pulled espresso was a stand out! The pastries are fine. Good but nothing special. We tried the pistachio croissant, banana bread, and chocolate croissant. Banana bread was fluffier and less moist than I would like. Both croissants were good, I liked that they weren't too sweet. Long line when I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. We took to go but even if we wanted to stay, there were no open seats. It is similar to Tatte and flour where you order at the counter and they give you a number to place on your table. Would 100% return for the lattes!
