We were walking around the neighborhood and needed a quick coffee stop. I looked on Google Maps and saw Tatte was nearby so we stopped by. Super cute coffee shop / bakery. Almost didn't even notice the shop when we were walking by but I was happy when we walked in. The food and pastries looked delicious! We just ate so we didnt order any food. I ordered a dirty chai with almond milk and it was delicious. Exactly what i needed for a little pick me up. Would love to return to Tatte to try some food next time i'm in the area. read more

Terrible online order experiences! It happened to me twice that my coffee was done but never put to the pick up place! And when I approached their coffee making area, where online coffee also made from, the woman staff there told me if it's online order then just wait at the pick up place and they won't even tell me if my coffee was done or not - this rule is so ridiculous! read more

I love Tatte. I was visiting on a business trip and breakfast wasn't until 8:30. I was famished after an early workout and placed an online order to pick up right when they opened. Matcha latte was super good and it truly was extra hot just as I requested. I love that Tatte has gluten free sandwiches and the bread they use is quite good. My breakfast sandwich was big, delicious and overall amazing. Staff are friendly. read more

TATTE is a coffee shop I would go back to time and time again. I went for the first time MDW and was so pleasantly surprised. There was a line going thru the door, but it moved fast. At Tatte there is always something new to try. We come here a lot. Sometimes just for a nice pastry and sometimes for a beautiful breakfast. Tatte is just a generally relaxing and pretty place. I love the black and white look! The Staff are super nice. They are always helping and just being super friendly in general. I definitely recommend Tatte for anyone who just wants to have a great start into the day. read more

Very poor service today. After waiting for 15 minutes for an order placed at the restaurant, they let me know my sandwich was given to someone else. I asked for my order to be cancelled and to issue a refund, so I could get back to work but then they disappeared to make a new sandwich. I waited over 30 minutes. Even speaking to the manager did not help. Lots of apologies. I appreciate that mistakes happen but for a $15 sandwich I would expect a higher level of service. read more

I had two breakfasts here as it was across the street from the Hyatt. A full coffee bar and a dozen breakfast choices that had a Greek/middle eastern flair. I had a lamb hash dish one day and a Greek mesa breakfast with an unusual bagel and three dips and a poached egg. Lovely bakery here, too. read more

Recently tried tatte for lunch on one of my days in office. This place is right across the street so easy choice. Ordering online was super easy. Loved that they had pictures of all items. I chose the grilled cheese and opted to add bacon. Pick up estimate was pretty accurate. My one complaint was there isn't a separate line for online orders. I had to stand in-line while others put in their orders. Back at office I unwrapped the largest grilled cheese I've seen. The flavors were fireworks in my mouth. The cheeses were so good w the sun dried tomatoes. But as you can see in picture one cheese slice wasn't truly melted. The bread was perfectly toasted. I wouldn't have minded a tiny hit of heat to break it up tho. I can't remember the drink I got but it was light and refreshing. Cost was on par for being in the city. I definitely will be back! read more

While in town for business, I joined a group of colleagues for a quick breakfast before our meetings. We arrived around 7:30am on a Thursday and there was no line. The place is beautiful and the bakery goods on display when you walk in will have you drooling before you even look at a menu. There were a lot of staff on hand and they were all friendly and helpful. I ordered their Muesli. I am a Greek yogurt snob but this was to die for! The honey yogurt combo with fresh fruit was a great way to start the day. I also got an Americano and, having lived in Portland OR for 15 years, it was great to see that they use Stumptown beans. My only regret was that I didn't go their for breakfast the day before! read more

Tatte is a Boston staple, and it's easy to see why. We stopped by to grab breakfast on a Monday morning, and found the place way less busy than expected (only one party in front of us in line). I ordered the Halloumi Sunny-Side Breakfast Sandwich, my boyfriend ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, and we both got Iced Matcha Lattes. We grabbed a little round table across from the barista, and our drinks were ready almost immediately. The sandwiches didn't take long either and both were absolutely delicious! I loved the bread especially - both my challah roll and his sourdough. The Matcha Lattes were excellent too and not sweet at all (perfect for me). Absolutely will be back the next time I'm in Boston! read more

When I lived in Boston, there was only one Tatte location. Glad to see they have expanded. The menu has multiple intriguing options. My short rib grilled cheese filled me up and the Kouign Amann gets two thumbs up. Cute spot! read more

Honestly, if I could give this place, more stars I would. It's such a cute little breakfast place/bakery. Thankfully, we made it in before the Saturday morning rush, but by the time we left, the line was out the door, and for good reason. The jelly, donut, whether you like them, or not, is an absolute must! Their actual cooked breakfast/brunch, options are phenomenal. Honestly, the only negative thing I can say about this Tatte Bakery location is that I couldn't move in and live in it. The service was great (and consistently so, since we returned here multiple times during our visit), prompt, and friendly. During these visits we tried many of the different foods and pastries and every single time they were simply amazing. We also enjoyed the delicious coffees each time. Of all the places we dined or drank in during our visit, Tatte Bakery was my favorite and I was lucky our hotel was across the street from them. This place is a MUST. read more

I LOVE this bakery cafe!!! We went twice and both the savory dishes (avocado tartine) as well as the pastries are delicious. They've got their workflow down because we went on a Sunday at 11am (prime brunch time) and despite being super busy, the quality of food and coffee and their efficiency between people ordering in, to go, and pick up was amazing. Wow. Wish we had such vibey, beautiful "chain" coffee shops like Tatte in our area. Shewwwww. Impressive and we felt so 5th Avenue Boca Rodeo Drive walking into the shop. But it wasn't just hype, smoke & mirrors and lipstick-on-a-pig type stuff. The lattes were the real deal and the fresh-daily handmade pastries and goodies were not only GORGEOUS AND I MEAN GORGEOUS but also tasty. Expect elevated pricing for anything you get here - not ridiculously so but I don't think I could afford this place on the daily but DEFINITELY IF YOU'RE A VISITOR TO THE CITY, I RECOMMEND A STOP-IN to any of the locations, if only to take in the beautiful decor and ambience - but do get a latte and one of the many many beautiful pastries on display. MY ONLY CAVEAT about Tatte is this (and this is simply MY personal philosophy): I refuse to wait in ridiculously long lines (no matter how fast they seem to move) for coffee - no way, no how - no matter how good it is. So - when we went to Tatte at this loc (Washington Street (near the State House and Boston Market)), it was a Sunday mid afternoon, around 330PM on a beautiful day.....and the place was literally EMPTY. My kinda place. :) That same Sunday morning around 10AM, we were gunnin' and psyched to start our morning at the Boylston / Tremont loc only to spot, a block away, a line out the door. Sad face for sure. On we pressed (to The Thinking Cup just a block North on Tremont - see my review - a decent substitute but a completely different vibe). But wow - we couldn't believe our luck arriving when we did (forewarning - they close on the early side every day - 4PM - see shop hours) to basically have the whole place to ourselves. Ahhhhhhhhhh. We ordered some hot lattes and split a couple pastries between the 3 of us - a cheesecake (in a cup) and a nut tarte. I really liked the cheesecake - rich thick and creamy but my friends thought it was TOO rich and tasted like a blob of cream cheese lol. The nut tarte was delicious! Like a pecan pie but way better. If you're a nut nut (ha!) you would like this. I liked the fact that it wasn't overly sweet (which is what I liked about Tatte's cheesecake and love about cheesecake in general). Friendly, knowledgeable staff, prompt service. Eat-off-the-floor, immaculate shop - clean, open, organized, beautifully appointed down to the last detail. Out of the pages of AD. We sat inside and enjoyed our snack and walking break. It was lovely. Truly lovely with the sunlight streaming through the large glass windows. A memorable way to cap off our trip - so glad we were able to try it out. You should too! ;) read more

Tatte was so good that my friends and I came here 3 days out of the 4 days we had in Boston! The first day I was here I got the Croque Madam. I liked it but personally I don't love a bunch of meat in my sandwiches, so I felt like the ham was a bit too thick and much. The desserts were super tasty though! I enjoyed the halva bomb but felt the lemon tart was a bit too sweet. I brought some pistachio and almond croissants back to the Bay Area, and those were super tasty! IMO, the almond was slightly better than the pistachio. Given the food scene at Boston isn't amazing, I feel like Tatte is a must try. There are quite a few locations scattered everywhere too! read more

Tatte Bakery is by far one the the best fast-casual branches/local franchises I've encountered thus far. Everything on their menu sounds delicious, healthy, fresh, and the coffee drinks aplenty. They also have their own line of juice where the empty bottle comes handy to refill later with water with its sleek size to carry around throughout the day. This location is near Government Center blue line so it's easily accessible and afterwards one can hop on the blue line to Wonderland in case you need to go directly to the airport afterwards. I needed something savory to hold me over for my flight back home and this savory French toast fit the bill. I appreciated the fresh side salad as well to get some greens amongst the decadent sesame challah (soaked in roasted garlic custard), egg, cheese, bacon, tomato jam. My friend got the sweet edition of the French toast and I wish I took a picture because it looked like a work of art with its ricotta mousse, raspberry jam, fresh berries, mint, almonds. No matter what you pick, it looks appetizing and tastes even better. The crew is quick and attentive and constantly on the lookout for folks with their number to ensure patrons get their food in a timely manner. Wish Tatte would come to Charleston, SC! What a lovely little afternoon treat we stumbled upon walking into this Arab-influenced bakery/café. Later we found out that it is a chain but, still behaves as if it is a mom and pop shop. THE Quick : they're all over Boston, the food is just okay, the line is crazy, and its a tad pricey... And yet I keep returning and loving this place. This location does have some indoor seating, but is a bit more limited than some of the other locations. They do have a lot of outdoor seating though. It's also a great area to walk around if you get your coffee and or pastry to go. It of course gets busy at peak times on weekends and morning during the week. Brunch is big at Tatte, and rightfully so. I don't think it's the best place to try to work, but you can bring a computer in do some work or study, but it can also get loud when there's lots of conversations being held. I've had great interactions with the staff at this location and even when it's busy, I haven't had to wait too long to get my order. I've been loving the pumpkin spice tahini latte this fall. Looking forward to my next stop in!
