On July the 10th my wife and I went to the shop and all was okay but the vibe there wasn't a great experience at all. Our wait time was crazy and it was almost and hour before we even got started. The Tattoo artist that was helping us was just too slow but he was okay. The power went out in the middle of my wife tattoo session because of a rain storm and I was not okay with the tattoo artist finishing her work in the dark even with a little light on there head. We had allreafy paid for a full service from the artist so I asked the tattoo artist that was working on my wife's neck work could we get some kind of discount on her services because there was no lights and they were trying to fi ish her work half way in the dark. There were two other workers in the shop and things just went left they were very unprofessional they were getting in mine and my wife's business when i was only talking to the tattoo artist that was working on my wife's neck. The young lady that works at this establishment was on the phone with her boss and letting them know that I didn't want the tattoo artist too finish the work in the dark and that was cool then the other tattoo artist started to get nasty with me talking a bunch of smack and being very disrespectful too me and my wife saying that the artist has to get paid as qell for some of the work that he had done and i wasn't even arguing with that point but we also need to be compensated as well because my wife tattoo was not finished the police was called on us because they said that we as the clients were being rude and disrespectful too them and we need to leave the establishment now. I said that I wasn't going to leave until we go back some of our money back that the tattoo artist JAY said that he was going to give us. It really never had to go this far but when you get into someone else bussiness and have no idea what you or the tattoo artist has talked about the other workers should have stayed out of it. The out side tattoo artist said that he felt threatened by me a black woman and her black wife the other workers was a white female that was acting like a little girl because she needed to call the police and get them involved. The second no fator person was maybe a white male mixed with other nationalities. The Gastonia Police Officers that showed up was not far at all they never asked what was going on they didn't want to ask myself or my wife what happened how could we help to resolve the situation they came siding already with the white woman and never asked any questions. I would ever recommend this tattoo shop to anyone i know there. If I was you make sure that when you go there make sure that you ask questions about being compensated on ink work if the powet goes out how does that work and make sure when you are dealing with the tattoo artist that you keep other workers out of your bussiness with the person that's doing your work. I will never ever go back to this shop ever again. They will call the poilce on you just for standing for your rights. This place is not a good place too go. We are still waiting on our refund now they said that it should take 7-10 business days and when we were trying to call back and speak too the artist tuat was working on my wife's neck he didn't even want to talk to us either and he is a black man so don't think that they will have your back in any situation thathappens at this tatto shop. Until we get out money back I'll be on here every othe day bashing this shopand there workers. I'm going to show you all the unfinished work of JALN the tatto artist was supposed to be doing. This is by far the worst tattoo shop I've ever visited . I was inked by a guy named JC and he did it within 5 mins , once healed the tattoo lines were awful , he blew out one letter and many missing lines and faded . From my experience with other tattoos they shaved your arm and they wrapped your arm before you left he didn't . Staff is very unfriendly , they refuse to work on you unless the piercer takes the money for the tattoo and she ignores you until she's ready . Constantly high these tattoo artists are .. people toothless and coming into work in pajamas .. def defined Gastonia to a T . I'll stick with Charlotte and get this tattoo covered up read more

Went and got a tattoo 2 weeks ago, the tattoos are already fading. I got a ladybug shaded in red, that shading is almost gone. I got another tattoo on my arm and it's splotchy where the ink is coming out. Very disappointing and never coming back. Not to mention but the damn arm tattoo is crooked on my arm! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We came in to get nose piercings and the woman at the counter let us know she was the piercer and we had to sign the consent forms beforehand. As we are signing the forms online, the piercer continues to fall asleep and struggle to keep her eyes open and sit straight up at the jewelry bar. Needless to say, she was on SOMETHING and never in my life would I trust her to pierce my body. We left as she woke up and walked away to prep the room. We told the tattoo artist in the area behind us to please let the piercer know we were leaving because "she's on something and we don't want her to touch us" and he looked so offended and confused as to why we were leaving. The staff was under the influence of something and I will not be returning and I would not recommend at all. read more

I walked in on Sunday and I told them what I wanted and they had books for me to choose my letter style snd the type of ribbon I wanted. My grandmother survived breast cancer so I got it for her. Jared did my tattoo abs he made sure the stencil was on perfect before he started. He was really sweet and friendly. We talked and laughed. I had a great experience. This is was the best tattoo shop I've been to in a long time. Very satisfied with my tattoo. I'll be coming to Jared again for more later on. read more

Staff messed my piercings up bad and I still have damaged cartilage months later that I can't fix without taking the piercings out. super painful experience and when I went back to them a few weeks later to have them look at it, I had an even worse, more painful experience with them forcing jewelry they shouldn't have, damaging my cartilage more, and leaving blood all over the side of my face and neck. obviously didn't trust in their capabilities to improve it as a THIRD attempt and left a review to save other people the stress. the owner responded to my review calling me stupid. not a shop that respects its customers or has any integrity. whoever responds to the google reviews makes the entire shop look bad. I first went here two months ago to get my daith done... I absolutely love it!!!! Gary made us feel welcome and safe!!! Tonight me and my husband went back and got matching tattoos done by Brian he did amazing work. We had a very good time and definitely enjoyed ourselves. Walked in at 6:30 for a small custom. was told they could do it and even given a price. watched multiple people who came in after me get to go ahead. at 8:15 was finally called up to only be told they can't do customs. most of the staff does not care about you or how you want your art they just want to milk money. would never recommend this place read more

I love coming here to get piercings they're quick sometimes depending on the day but it's an easy in and the out way to go get a piercing!

They're just flat out a crappy business. They really are a "factory". They put out shitty work and dangerous piercings all just to say they have lots of business. They crank shit out without any type of care or concern for the quality of the work or the likelihood of damage. I have no respect for a shop that does snake and frog eye piercings, especially on previously unmodified individuals, a shop that tattoos hands and neck on individuals without previous ink. And unless a minor is there with parents to get work done on themselves, (like an ear or nose piercing) they shouldn't be in a shop. Minors also shouldn't be getting a face full of piercings that can and will scar when removed. You can take out the metal, but facial scars are permanent. And on some they cause nerve and tissue damage. Tattoo shops should not have children just hanging out. There are just some things that aren't favored in the community and they just don't give a shit. The owner is rude to his artists and literally tells the artists to get you in and out as quick as possible. read more

I recently took my 12-year-old daughter for her third time getting her ears pierced. The first 2 times Her ears were pierced by a gun, at a Claire's. Apparently her earlobes were too thick for what they were using but no one bothered to tell us. An earring actually had to be surgically removed. I read reviews on Google which were much better than Yelp. I spoke with the tattoo and piercing artist Danny and he knew exactly what gauge to use was very gentle and they look great. And since he used the correct material for a piercing the chance of getting an infection or having them close up or heal in properly are practically gone, even while she sleeps she says her ears don't hurt. The price was great I was very impressed with how Danny handled by 12-year-old daughter and I would highly recommend anyone taking their child 12 and older to see him. And he insured that I had her birth certificate and ID with her picture on it and my ID to verify that I was actually her mother, and that made me more happy. I hope to return myself to get a tattoo I've always wanted. read more

I just left completely upset. I can't say anything about the work they do, because i wasn't able to get my tattoo. We reached out to ask one of the individuals tattooing what the wait was. He replied that it would be "no more than an hour." also that the artists stop at "7:30" to pack up and leave, and "second shift starts at 8". I was very disappointed to see that they decided to stop at 7:05 after my waiting of almost two hours for a tattoo that would've taken 15 mins tops. It was very unprofessional behavior and i don't plan on visiting again. read more

Went in on a Saturday night, put our name on the wait list for 2 simple tattoos, there was only one artist there so we waited for 2.5 hours (which we understood since we didn't have an appointment), but after waiting 2.5 hours the artist told us she wasn't comfortable with doing words or letters yet (i wanted four words, simple font). If you're looking to get a tiny basic stencil tattoo, and don't want to pay the $80 minimum at these other shops for something small, then this is a good place for you. But if you want literally anything else, go to a different shop. read more

If i could give them 0 stars, I fucking would. First off, neither artist greeted us when we walked in. Secondly, NO ONE WAS WEARING MASKS!!! The only people that were wearing masks were my friend, their mom, and I. There were also four people crowded around one person getting tattooed which is extremely unprofessional in my opinion. You should only be bringing maximum one person to be with you and that was pre Covid. If you're thinking about going here, don't. A shitty 25 dollar tattoo isn't worth your life or the lives of your family and friends. There's a reason that they put signs on the road people. read more

The line work is inconsistent and patchy. This was overall a waste of money & time. They also insist on tipping before giving the tattoo which makes no sense.
