I'm just going to keep this short, simple and 100% honest: This was the best tattoo session I've had since my first one in 2015. I've been to shops in Sacramento, Los Angeles, Hawaii, etc and I've never seen a tattoo artist have so much passion, empathy and determination as the one who just started the top half of Polynesian tribal sleeve. Not to mention, he learned more about the design I wanted after I sent him the one I found online and the story behind it. And he went home, created a badass interpretation and it turned out to be exactly how I had wanted it in my head. Huge shout out to OB and Johnny. Fiance and I went in on 3/15/2025 after 8 pm (sober by the way) to get a simple finger tattoo of a bamboo cocktail stirrer. The drawing looked good. But short. Artist chose to freehand it longer instead of reprinting the drawing. Fiance had gotten a tattoo with this artist before so we felt confident. Almost a week later now, there are gaps, inconsistencies, and areas where the lines don't connect. This tattoo concept is very sentimental to us and we are getting married this June. So this is a bummer. Fiancé's has similar issues as well. I will have to look into getting it removed, covered, or hopefully fixed if that is possible.:( read more

Huge thank you!!! I walked in at about midnight with no expectations. I wanted the artist, Chris, to do whatever he wanted on my leg. Black and white or color I left up to him. Design was up to him. I did pick the size which he kindly printed off a couple different ones to choose from. Safe to say I am so impressed with how it turned out! The colors are amazing! We were there until about 4am and he continued tatting until he was satisfied with the tattoo regardless of the shops closing time; I can't express how much I appreciate the effort he put in for me! PLS READ! this shop is NOT safe for women. i have a long list of why i do not recommend this shop. first happened tonight- after telling them it was messed up to verbally harass my best friend (an ex artist at the shop) OB called me a cunt amongst other insults and tried to jump at and attack me to the point the other artists had to intervene to get me to safety. when i went to the back of the shop to get away from him he proceeded to come out there to try to come at me again. he laughed and yelled at me when the other artists wouldn't let him come near me. i have also personally been sexually harassed by Kenny. i was getting a tattoo once that required my pants to be down and he asked me to take off the rest of my clothes and proceeded to say he was getting a boner from it. i cried and when he apologized his excuse was that he "forgot people were sensitive now" knowing past artists from the shop i can confidently tell you they are not up to proper health standards. they do not sanitize properly and cannot tattoo. they also have unlicensed people pierce because they can't keep a piercer long enough. they overcharge you on purpose and i have personally heard them laugh about it. they recently served alcohol in the shop for an event and will do drugs and drink at the shop which i have seen with my own eyes. they will tattoo and pierce minors as well. with that being said, when Mike worked there he was the only good thing the shop had. he did EVERYTHING and they abused their power to keep him there. he is an amazing tattooer and the only reason the shop was good. i HIGHLY recommend going to Rosie's two doors down. amazing artists and prices and you won't leave traumatized. read more

My friend and I both got our ears pierced on a random Sunday night a few weeks back. Our ears were fine and so we decided to head back to them for tattoos. They had a flash sale going on so my friend got something from the flash and I got a more custom small piece. Long story short, my friend's tattoo is severely infected and my lines are messy. I called the shop to try to speak with the owner but was told that he was not in. The original guy I spoke with was extremely apologetic. I was told that the owner would be calling me back. Well... he did call me back and called me a b*tch. He told me that I never got tattooed here and to "keep my nose out of it". I've never been spoken to like this before by a business owner. Do better. If you don't know how to speak to customers that received a bad service with respect, then don't be in the customer service industry. Side Note: I just found out today when getting my nose pierced from a legitimate piercer that the earrings that were put in originally were not the correct ones and that the backs were butterfly backs that breed bacteria. My friend also had to go and get her nose ring swapped out at another shop because they put a flat back on her nose piercing and not an L shape that is supposed to be put in. The artist that did all of this is a sweetheart and I'm not saying their name because I truly hope that they can improve. I have a wonky tattoo that I'm either going to have to have fixed/covered by my normal artist or I'm going to have to spend lots of money to remove it. The artist was very apologetic for what happened and I was offered free removal by them but unfortunately the trust is gone and because of the treatment from the owner I will not be returning. read more

I understand that there are risks to getting a tattoo but what the owners, Jessi and Kenny failed to realize that you should at least try and be helpful when there is a major eff up! I went in for my 23rd birthday (sober and now i wish i wasnt) with my friends for a silly tattoo. I often go to tattoo shops on Friday the 13th, I have a few bad tattoos. NEVER this bad. I made an appointment to get it removed the second I got home and could NOT stop crying. I believe her name was Shonda (not sure but she does piercings as well) I could tell from the beginning she seemed nervous but I had faith because this tattoo was simple. I don't know if she's just getting into tattooing or what but it's borderline insane to let people walk out of their shop like this.. on top of the fact it took her 45+ minutes to set up, i had to explain placement 4 times and it still wasn't done where it should've been. Im super disappointed and sad and can't wait to get it off. If my frontal lobe wasn't developing Id be trying all of the at home methods of removal that would leave me scarred. I hope she gets better but if she is the only option in the shop when you walk in, walk on out. Do not get pierced here. I got two helix piercings on one ear a year apart from each other, and both didn't heal properly due to the way they inserted the earring (hoops). I went back for each piercing when it was healed enough for a hoop and they didn't perfectly align the hoops therefore I developed two massive keloids and had to remove both earring, now I'm left with scar tissue and discomfort. So much money wasted and now my ear looks horrible. This review is being written years after being pierced because initially I loved this spot, but now I'm advising you to stay away or at least do not get hoops put on by any piercer at this shop. read more

Overall experience here felt off from the beginning. It wasn't my that got tattooed but I was there for the whole process. The artist made my friends tattoo slightly misshapen and, in my opinion, charged him way too much for a simple tattoo. We waited around for a good hour and a half just for the artist to get the design done and stenciled on. The actual tattoo took probably 20 minutes max. Me and my friends came here a few months ago to get piercings. It was a pretty late on a Friday night, and this was one of the only piercing/tattoo places that was still open. The lady who did our piercings was super friendly, and made us feel very comfortable. My friend got a belly piercing, and it was definitely more of a process than expected. It appeared that the piercer had some trouble getting the jewelry in. It bled, and looked pretty painful. From start to finish, it took 10 minutes for my friend to get her piercing. By this point, me and my other friend were questioning how professional this place was. We figured the woman just made a mistake, which is totally okay as we all mess up sometimes. Next up, I got my nose piercing. I was definitely nervous, but the piercing lady me feel at ease. She explained that it would be super fast. The pain wasn't too bad, but I started bleeding almost immediately. It was an excessive amount of blood, and didn't stop for 30 minutes. The piercing lady said that people bleed all the time when getting pierced. After asking several friends if they bled when getting pierced, they all said no. In the following days, my nose was healing nicely. I had absolutely no problems with the piercing, and loved the way it looked. But exactly a week later, I woke up in the middle of the night to my nose bleeding. A lot. It bled for 45 minutes. I slept flat on my back to make sure nothing rubbed against my face. So it literally started bleeding for no reason. I thought it was a one time thing, but the next night, it started bleeding again. For an hour this time. I took the piercing out and then the blood began shooting through the hole like a water fountain. It was insane. The next day, I bought a bioflex nose ring. It hasn't bled since I put that in. But it has been infected on and off since November. It's really frustrating, and I've debated taking it out multiple times. Multiple people have told me that my piercing experience was not normal or professional. Many people I know have gotten piercings and not bled at all, and never had to get it redone. I really liked the staff here, but I would not recommend this place. read more

This place was awesome! At an impromptu night we wanted to get small tats and walked in here. The girl at the counter was just the friendliest chick. She was laughing and smiling and it just brought such a sweet atmosphere to the whole place. She got us in real quick with Claire. We got these matching couple tattoos (I know, I know, make fun of us, whatever) and they turned out pretty sick. Claire was really really good, she was joking the entire time and just chatting us up. She's really only been tatting for a couple of years but I'm telling you, you would've not known. Her work really shows, and she also gets pumped after her pieces, which makes me pumped, (which I'm turn makes my mom pumped, and so on..). She was very thorough with her directions and would let you know when she was hitting certain spots that were more tender. I 100% recommend her if you come check out this spot. read more

SOOOOO much better talent and price wise. one of the employees reached out saying how i they didn't pick the design, but i did. i actually provided pictures of my cat and let the artist take it away. it looked nothing like how the stencil did. he said i can come in and get it fixed but this is more of a cover up situation at this point and it doesn't excuse the artist facetiming their kid mid session. read more

Thank you Keith for saving my ears :((( I recently got a double helix, conch, and cartilage piercing done in a shop in Corona. My double helix had been hurting/swelling for the last 4 days and I wanted to die. I came in with what I thought was just an infected double helix but turns out all the piercings that I got in Corona were infected. He switched out all my piercings with better quality jewelry and although it hurt so much, he was super fast and as gentle as he could have been (my ears were already so raw so no matter what it would've hurt). DO NOT come here looking for a fine line tattoo. I expressed my concerns after being deceived in the past and getting a non-delicate tattoo from an artist that I was told was very experienced w/ the style. Here they disregarded my concerns and reassured me that the lines would be delicate, but I ended up with a tattoo that is not fine line, nor does it have any intricacy or detail present in my reference. My artist was also visibly annoyed when I asked him to adjust the size after seeing the first stencil? Wish I could give zero stars. I went in with my friend to get a piercing done and watched my friend get a botched forward helix piercing. The piercer was inexperienced and after piercing and failing to put in jewelry properly they wouldn't let us leave because they knew they had messed up. The shop owner is unprofessional and blamed her for what happened. She confronted them for the mistake and they refused to give her her money back so she can exit the shop. It wasn't until after we left and went to another shop to get her ear cleaned up, and came back to the shop that they refunded her. As I am writing this, she received a call from the shop owner asking her to take down her negative review. This is a complete invasion of privacy as well as extremely unprofessional. I am very disappointed to see my friend have to deal with everything that happened with the shop today. I would not recommend this shop to anyone, be careful who you let pierce you. read more

I got a tattoo here with a couple of friends and it was the weirdest experience I've ever had at a tattoo shop. The receptionist and the new piercing girl were nice girls but were taking shots at the front desk in front of us. And they took a couple of shots, not just one or two. They were also smoking their jules the entire time. The piercing girl kept asking us if we wanted a piercing maybe 8 times (I think she was starting to get a little tipsy). Then I believe the manger or owner came out and asked the receptionist if she's been taking money from the shop because the bank statements are not adding up correctly. Which made my friends and I a little uncomfortable and wondered why he would ask that when clients are in the shop? Then we overheard the piercing girl say to her client "sorry I poked you somewhere else, you're bleeding but it should by fine" and then re-pierced his ear in the correct spot. Very odd overall vibe in that shop, kind of sketchy. On the bright side, my tattoo came out beautiful and was done by Summer. She was awesome and gave a great vibe. She looks like a rocker chick and was overall just respectful and made great conversation. The only reason I would comeback is to get my tattoo touched up from her and ONLY her. I was not sure how many starts to put for this review because of the experience so I give it a 3. The experience wasn't horrible but it was just weird. BUT, Summer is a 5 start rating tattoo artist.
