Chicken Tenders ordered as add-on for Quinoa Bowl
    Petra E.

Love this place! We've eaten in before, and it's a great space, but this Tuesday was take-out. We were inspired by their 20% discount on Tuesdays (via a code on the website that you enter when ordering). We had the quinoa bowl which was both healthy and delicious as well as an old favorite, the Chicken Bayou pasta. We added chicken tenders to the quinoa bowl which were a great match. Amazing flavors. Ordering online is easy - just remember to enter that discount code if ordering on Tuesdays (I nearly forgot!). If eating in, there is a ton of parking, plus it's near a nice path you can walk after lunch (cross the footbridge). All around a good experience every time.

The Solstice cocktail - solid 4/5

While we were moving, we didn't have a lot of time to do groceries and cook and we ended up getting Tavern in the Square 3 times in one week! It's a chain American restaurant but the food is overall good quality with some standout dishes. Our top favorite dishes from our recent binge were: Korean Crispy Chicken sandwich - Absolutely bursting with flavor, perfectly cooked, 10/10, as someone who NEVER orders the same things twice, we got it all three times XD Chicken dumplings - This was a special they are trying out, I hope they keep in on the menu! Super tasty Bang bang broccoli - I'll eat any veggie if you slather it in bang bang sauce and this is no exception. I got The Solstice cocktail which was good, not a top ten cocktail but solid. Prices are around $10 for starters, $15-25 for entrees. The Lowell location has lots of parking. Overall would recommend and would go back.

I walked in to Tavern in the square Because I Believe FATHER GOD was showing Me to Go there. In the entry way there is a sign for the Graduates That says The hard work is done let Tsq handle the celebration. The Young Lady that was bringing Customers to their seats was Nice and Kind, I went to My table of Four right away. The place had a lot of Customers. The Young Lady that was My server is an Angel She brought Me a glass of Lemon Water then after a while She brought Me A Large Glass bottle and written on it is blue drop. I ordered the Bayou chicken pasta with jalapeños, corn, red onions and pieces of bacon. When she brought My bowl there was A lot. The amount of pasta was enough to feed A FAMILY OF Four. The chicken jalapeño was very seasoned and flavorful. The ambiance was the type of college atmosphere. I ate and FATHER GOD Showed Me THE KIND OF FAVOR THAT IS JUST A BLESSING FROM THE HIGHEST. I'm appreciative HE IS TRUE TO HIS Promises UPON My Life. CHRIST BLESS THAT Place and their Employees AMIN.

Had a wonderful experience with service and food at Tavern in the Square. Our server, Alie, was amazing! So informative and friendly! She has a smile on her face the entire time. It creates such a positive experience. The chicken avocado sandwich was generous and tasty. The highlight was the incredible macaroni and cheese. This is perhaps one of the best macaroni and cheese dishes in the area. So rich and cheesy. The steak tips were perfectly cooked at medium rare with a generous portion of mashed potatoes and broccoli. we were so pleased with the meal. The restaurant is modern and clean with great views of the Red Sox playing in multiple screens.

We came for football and enjoyed a great brunch at a high top by the bar. Our server, Armani, was very nice and helpful. The restaurant was clean, lots of space, and enjoyable. Plenty of beers on tap and specialty drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Would we come back, yeah for sure.

A wonderful experience all around! Our waiter, Tyler K, was extremely personable and answered all our menu questions. Modifications were easy to make, and he provided specific answers about various menu items. Overall, very kind and he refilled my soft drink when he saw it was low. The food itself was also stellar. Everything, from the mac and cheese to the side of mashed potatoes, looked and tasted amazing. It's a bit on the pricer side, but the portions are very big. We all got different items and all had leftovers at the end. The inside is cozy and clean. There's a full bar, but it never got super loud or anything. They have TVs to watch the football game, so no matter what you're looking for (a hangout or a family meal), this would be a good place to come.

Food was good but the kitchen and the waiter messed up so 2 of us had to wait while one of us ate. Food was good though. The tv's all over the place are good for mood if I were to offer advice if I were a server, once the person delivers the food the server should be either with him or 1 minute after because I needed something with it they did not include to go on the burger so I waited 5 minutes to eat til he came around.

The place is large has outdoor seating and indoor seating. The food was good. Service was fine. My real issue is price who charges $16 for Nachos and then another $6 to add chicken, Jalapeños and guacamole, $22 for nachos for maybe 2 people. Also who charges $11 for kids Mac and cheese that's clearly from a box.

Yikes. Food and drinks were terrible. We were ignored by the bartenders for a good 5 minutes. Do better!

Used to be my family's favorite restaurant before they changed the menu. They took away almost all of our favorite foods. So upsetting.

Does anyone have a photo or a link to the brunch menu?

When I went there was no brunch menu it was just rows of food that were labeled at the time. From what I remember they had dessert, waffle bar, salad bar, chicken pie, fish and chips, eggplant sliders,a bunch of different types of eggs Benedict…

Our waitress was very friendly and accounted for our need to leave in time to get our tickets and still have a relaxing dinner. We arrived at 5:45 and were able to leave about an hour later, in part because we chose menu items that were slightly easier to prepare. We had the Mushroom Swiss Burger, the Double Smash Burger, the Volcano Burger, and Bangers and Mash. All four dishes were great, and the chef followed the doneness orders to perfection. We all chose to drink a glass of Josh Cabernet (offered at $11/glass, not available by the bottle). Given the price of the glass, and the relatively low price of Josh, I was a bit disappointed in the size of the pour, which seemed minimal. However, the wine was good. Each burger was well described on the menu: the mushrooms were crispy and generous, the onion rings on the volcano were ample and delicious, the smash burger came with cole slaw at the diner's request, and the bangers and mash were very good. This is a traditional Irish Pub, and there was a lot that we did not choose (but will in another visit). The bar is quite noisy, and we were somewhat protected by some privacy barriers. On the whole, a great experience and enjoyable.

Review will come later. 5.)Egg Roll, add on for $3. Very tasty, good flavor, good amount of pork with cabbage, crispy wrapper, maybe could be a little fatter. 7 out 10 6.)Chicken Finger , add on $3 for 3 of them good value. Nice golden batter very tasty with perfect meat to batter ratio. 8 out of 10. Overall a nice experience for takeout, $21.95 not bad for the amount of food I received, very friendly person at register, food was fresh and hot. Would have loved to have given a 4 star review but the Rice needs to get better and the boneless ribs were very dry. It's a solid 3-1/2 stars. Will definitely eat here again.
