It's been several years since I finished my laser hair removal treatments there and my results are holding pretty well. I had literally no hair growing back on my shoulder and back. I added more areas since then and all worked amazingly well. I also did 2 more rounds of Sculpsure for body sculpting and stubborn fat reduction in belly and flanks. As a background, I am pretty fit and just needed some additional toning and the Sculpsure was a perfect touch and greatly helped. I have continued with the scalp treatment for male pattern hair loss prevention and treatment. I am alternating PRP with hair growth stem cell factor to maximize my results and I can confidently say that the treatment was effective in stopping the thinning and stimulating some hair regrowth. As for new treatments, I started doing Botox for my frown lines and lines on forehead at Amoderm around 2 years ago and have done it 3-4 times so far. The results typically last a good 3-5 months for me and I appreciate how I am still able to have full facial expression with natural look and avoid looking frozen while having the lines and wrinkles erased. Same great experience as other treatments I have done at Amoderm and well worth the money. Highly recommend as before!

I've had several moles removed throughout my life at different dermatologists, and I'd say that the…read moremoles removed by Dr. Shafa have produced the best results. The lady at the front desk is very kind and helpful with the check-in process, and the other lady that was assisting Dr. Shafa with my removals was also very kind. She provided me with extra bandages at the end of my visit which were nice to have because of my latex allergy. Dr. Shafa was also very kind, talked me through everything, and made me feel comfortable as she removed each mole. I followed her instructions and it's been roughly 2 weeks since I got my stitches removed. The areas that I had moles removed had been healing very nicely with very minimal discoloration in the area. I've been rotating between using the Aquaphor she recommended and silicone scar patches, and it's been healing very quickly. I have my 6 week check-in with her later this month, and I'm looking forward to seeing how much it fades by then. I also had a mole very close to my eye, and my mom had to ask me which eye I had my mole removed because it was done so well she couldn't see any scarring or discoloration. I'd say I wish I had gotten these removed earlier, but I'm thankful to have gotten them removed at Oc Med Derm with the skill and technology from Dr. Shafa. I was really nervous because the majority of my moles were on my face, but I'm satisfied with how well they were removed and how quick the recovery process has been.

We were able to do FaceTime consultations along with in-person appointments, which made planning everything so much easier. They also worked with me on financing, which I really appreciated. The office itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Every time I walked in, I felt comfortable and taken care of. The staff is incredibly kind and supportive, and you can tell they genuinely care about their patients. It's worth noting that he is a busy surgeon, so you do need to be patient with scheduling -- but in my opinion, that speaks to how in-demand and trusted he is. One thing that really stood out to me was the environment of the office. It has a strong faith-based presence, and while I'm not personally religious, I found it surprisingly comforting. I was told that during the building process, he would come in and write scripture within the structure of the office, which I thought was such a meaningful and intentional touch. On the day of surgery, I was understandably nervous, but the entire team made me feel at ease. The anesthesiologist was absolutely hilarious and helped lighten the mood right away. Right before surgery, the doctor asked if I would like him to pray with me. Even though I'm not religious, I said yes -- and it ended up being a really grounding, calming moment that I genuinely appreciated. Now, about 14 weeks post-op, I can honestly say I am so happy with my results. I feel confident, comfortable, and like I got exactly what I asked for. I'm still working on scar management, but overall, I love how everything looks. And coming from Las Vegas, I paid a fraction of what I would have locally, which made the experience even better. When I asked for photos of people with similar cases like mine he pretty much brushed me off & suggested I visit their website for photos. Why would I do that if you're literally right in front of me hahah. Show me photos educate me you're the surgeon who I may potentially pay thousands and thousands to perform this procedure.
