Sweetheart cake for my sweet heart
Nicole A.

So all things sweet and good you gotta come here! I've been patronizing Taylor's Bakery ever since my oldest daughter's birthday which was in the late 90's and she's a Halloween baby to boo! So now it has come full circle now I went to pick up my granddaughters birthday cake.. it reminded me the days when I would go to pick up her mom's birthday cake! Their cakes are gorgeous and super moist.. and this was completed in 24 hours you can't beat that! It's a little pricey but it's going to be so worth seeing my granddaughter's face.. service there was great everyone was friendly and we had to take advantage of National Donut Day it was buy 6 get 6 free! I really like the Fishers location but I've been to the Allisonville Road location too! So if you're ever in the need for a quick sweet treat Taylor's Bakery is your place!

Taylor's is getting sloppy. I noticed it on the rush to service and get me out of the door a few weeks ago, but this may be the last straw for me. Is this a bakery cupcake I bought or did someone bring it from home? Barely frosted- and the frosting is hard

Nice crumb! Good frosting to cake ratio.

2 stars. In a word: disappointing. I was in the mood for a delicious piece of wedding cake, so I popped in a grabbed a cupcake. Then, added on a sugar cookie on a whim. Neither was outstanding. Definitely did not live up to the hype. The cake was moist and had a perfect crumb, but lacked that almond flavor that is expected. The frosting was perfectly smooth and proportional to the cake, but was so sugary it made my teeth ache - literally! The sugar cookie was a nice size and had a good texture. It was right between soft baked and crispy. But lacked flavor. It was really bland. No lemony or vanilla notes were detected. None. It was dough and sugar. Customer service was great. Store was bright with good merchandising. Location is convenient. Parking is ample. I'm deeply saddened to learn that this bakery just doesn't get these two confections correct. But, I'll go back and try something else. I hope I can provide an updated review in the future.

I've always known Taylor's bakery to have great cakes but now I've experienced their donuts! Such a variety of both cake and yeast donuts. Couldn't decide so I got one of both and threw in a cinnamon roll as well. So delicious and great icing to dough ratio. Dangerous to be living so close to such a delicious bakery! Very clean and nice inside.

I came in after being told by Kroger that a chocolate cake with white icing "isn't a thing." What? lol Taylor's had a huge selection of cakes of all different kinds, including the supposedly nonexistent chocolate cake with white icing. They also have adorable mini birthday cakes you can get to go! I opted for a single layer cake that was decorated with poinsettias. They offered to write a message on the cake for me and took it back and did it right away. My daughter LOVED her cake and we might have had some for breakfast today as well. Definitely worth paying just a little more (seriously, it's not that much more expensive than a grocery store cake!) for such a great product from a local business.

Great local bakery one of the best cakes in town. Several types of cookies and all the gotos for donuts and danish. You will also find popcorn. Carry out or order ahead Taylor's is conveniently located right off 116th in Fishers. Lots of parking,. You can also order ahead.

My son's Spiderman cake was awesome! Will certainly order again in the future. Thank you for making this event a success!

They have a pretty large selection of baked goodies and the prices are fair. I only tried donut holes and they were yummy!

This was the third stop on my personal donut challenge. I tried to stop in on Black Friday but it was closed that day :-(. They have various donuts there, it was almost too hard to resist the pecan roll, but I was craving a simple glazed donut along with some donut holes. The donuts are made at the 62nd street location and delivered to fishers store. The parking is ok at this location. The staff at the store is prompt and friendly. I bought my selections and almost started to eat in the car but resisted. I enjoyed the donut, but it wasn't as good as I had remembered. It didn't have that just made experience for me, even though it may have been made that morning. However, after I ate a few donut holes, none of that mattered. They are cake donut holes. The nice thing with them, you can buy a box and the ones you don't eat the first day are just as fresh and tasty the second day!!!

Thank goodness for thoughtful coworkers who bring you a dozen donuts (to share) on your birthday. I sampled a few of the donuts in our box - cinnamon twist, cinnamon roll and red velvet - and they were all really good. And I'm generally not a big donut person. If I find myself in the Fishers area hankering for donuts, I will stop in Taylor's for something sweet!

We stopped by Taylors bakery after my grandmas dentist appointment as she loves sweets. She bought 4 cupcakes and various other sweets. I personally only had a cupcake but it was fantastic.... She was not impressed with her other sweets.

S'mores cupcake to round out summertime: really yummy and moist!

My drive to visit my cousin in Fishers is a straight-shot down 116th Street. I take the single road from Carmel to Fishers with the music blasted, mostly because there isn't anything to see. Well, wasn't, actually. Fishers has blossomed and transformed in a multitude of ways over the last few years- much more than I could have EVER imagined. New restaurants and breweries have sprung up like freshly-bloomed flowers, and places like TopGolf draw the attention of Indy residents from all over town! Taylor's Bakery has been around for quite a while- it's a favorite of many Fishers locals and if you ever visit the bakery, it doesn't take much to guess why. Craft-made chocolates, sweet treats, snacks and desserts line the pastry case and stud the store: you have MORE than enogh to choose from. Wee just picked up a few seasonal goodies on this specific occasion and that was enough too tell me I'll be going back soon.

Shopping for a family reunion cake. Loving the samples.

The donuts are flavorful and moist. I thoroughly enjoyed the red velvet cake donut. I don't even like donuts, but these were fabulous.

Both are on the expensive side, however the price is commiserate with the quality. Fluffy, perfectly risen, and the flavor is throughout, not just on top like the flavored rolls at other stores. I recommend ordering ahead for a quick in/out and to make sure what you want is in stock. I've seen the line quite long, but you can get lucky with no line on a weekday. The inside is cute but there is no seating inside. You're going to get a little messy eating your cinnamon roll and want to be in the privacy of your own home anyway. My one very minor piece of feedback is I wish some rolls were sweet rolls (i.e. skip the cinnamon). Fruity Pebble is a little overpowered by cinnamon but I'd still get it. Cookie Monster is the #1 flavor for me and I can't wait to catch Pineapple Upsidedown in stock.

Yes, these are quite a bit pricer that's for sure. People were buying one of everything in line. I was like wow! Some Items the combinations of flavors didn't appeal to me. I love tiramisu and pecan pie so I got them both. One suggestion I would have is to have utensils and napkins at the table for people to use. The pastries I bought are really temperature sensitive and need to be kept cold. Both had a cream - mousse inside. They wouldn't last long only a day or to the next. I loved the pecan item I ordered. It was great! The tiramisu one I wouldn't order again. The bottom flakey part was so bitter. I love coffee and expresso and tiramisu. But, the whole thing just wasn't what I thought it would taste like. Now I know. :-( Creamy, sweet, smooth, with a kick of coffee all come together to make a great tiramisu. This is what most people love about it. I don't know if they are planning on opening a store or not. The pop ups are doing well it seems. I will try other items whenever I can get to one of the pop ups.

What went from ordering 1 pastry each turned into 8 total.. and we regret nothing. The Tiramisu Danish was exactly as I had hoped for! The bitter taste of espresso paired with the sweet mascarpone cream filling reminded me of the holidays when I would watch my mom make tiramisu for our family. While a lot of people prefer a sweeter espresso, I thought this was perfect and very true to a traditional tiramisu taste The Pear Kouglof reminded me of a fresh yeast donut that's been tossed in sugar This was a very kid-friendly pastry in taste and while I wasn't too blown away by it, it did make me wonder if I would have preferred it with a stronger, more potent, fruit. The Cherry Basque Cheesecake -- this pastry was the house favorite. The texture of this cheesecake was creamy, but somehow still spongey.. cakey, but more like pudding. Mix that with the juiciest sour cherries and the crunch of a biscoff crust.. mind blown was an understatement. We're looking forward to what Beurre Sec has planned for their next pop-up

Every sip hits the same, and it just keeps pulling you back in. The whipped cream on top melts right into it and adds a little extra sweetness without taking away from the chocolate. That could not be more true. We both did Pick Two: I got a chicken salad sandwich and my mother got a turkey and cheese both with the soup of the day which was butternut squash. Soup was OK, sandwiches were OK. I got a side of chips (not made in-house) for $3. My daughter was upset when we arrived bc she was napping in the car and she proceeded to cry for about the first 10 minutes so, I walked around with her to calm her before I sat down since it's so cramped to try not to disturb everyone else. She was not happy the entire time so we were trying to calm her and feed her. Cake slices and cheesecake are $17-20 each. They're large but other reviews say dry and taste old. That's pricey. We skipped dessert at those prices based on the quality of the rest of our meal... I got an $8 peppermint mocha which was good but, served in the smallest teacup imaginable. It's extremely small inside. Like, uncomfortable. Granted, I had a lot of items with my baby and her and we were seated at a table for two with her in my lap but it was close quarters and the waitresses were squeezing between the chairs to walk around. They have about 6 tables inside with a small event private room in back. Our waitress was kind but, the manager or owner was off-putting. She went to every single table seated except ours to ask how their meal was and experience and, when time to pay, she wanted to personally ring me up to ensure we left in a hurry. I get it, some places are not meant for babies, but, since it's billed specifically to kids, I thought this was. Nope, I was wrong. (She's 19 months - so, too young for this bougie of an establishment clearly) I would not come back at all unless it was for my, older daughter to have a birthday cake experience and get a couple cute pics. As far as instagram-worthy goes, they know what they're doing. As far as quality of food. It's like a 2.5 stars. I wish we'd waited and walked into the larger one in Carmel and just shopped and got some cookies to go!
