I was really looking forward to my order since I don't live in the area anymore I try to stop by when I am . I ordered at the drive through at 2:58. I sat there in line and paid at 3:12. I wait for exactly 20 mins for a girl who didn't take my order or my money to come to the window and tell me the order total for what I assume was the people behind me. I tell her I've already paid and she asks what did I order I tell her but for some reason she is having trouble pulling up my order so I just hand her my receipt. Then she comes back and says they are out of rice which is primarily all my sides. I tell her I have watched them bag up 3 different orders with rice while I've been sitting here and you're telling me none of them was my order? She then rudely tells me she's not the one who took my order and then starts to talking to someone else in Spanish about me. Which I know because I took several years of Spanish. The guy who took my order comes back over and asks what's going and tells her to leave the window. When she does I still hear her talking in Spanish to someone I can't see about me. By 3:36 I'm leaving with a receipt for a refund because rice would have been another 15 mins! This Taziki's is AMAZING! The portions are great and leaves you feeling fully satisfied. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. The service was prompt and very friendly as well. UPDATE- I have not been to this restaurant since my last review and I did not accept a meal from the operator of the restaurant. With the current pandemic, I was unsure how the restaurant had adapted and implemented safety standards into their place of business. It was not until I stopped by on Saturday midday during lunch hour. Drive thru was long but cars moved quickly, faster than the restaurant next door. My order came out quick. Of course, I did check my order annnndd I checked my salad in which I found myself pleasantly surprised to see that there was NO FLY! Only gave it 4 stars because drive thru speaker needs replacing-could barely hear the lady. I requested extra Taziki sauce but did not receive any, plus adding a second pita chip would be great. Do not want to be a KAREN buuuuuut employees were wearing masks just not properly. Thought this can be addressed because I would not want an employee to be harassed by customers for that reason as I too, know how difficult it is to have to wear one for long periods of time. I thought my last experience had left a taste aversion, but I had to return to fulfill my craving of a gyro. I wish I had enjoyed my gyro in a normal setting but the partial view of the Target across the street and the traffic that zoom past me would do. ********* Have been going to this place since they open last year, it's been great so far. Everything was just a bit off as if they're pretending to make mediterranean food without knowing exactly how it's done well. Like they looked it up on the internet. My chicken pita sandwich was ordinary. Served with potato chips? Like what? Boring. Raw carrots and cucumbers would be a better garnishment, not cheap potato chips. I also had a salmon salad, which was served undercooked, had to return it. I don't think the owners have ever eaten amazing Mediterranean food, otherwise, they would overhaul their menu. Just had a lunch here with my wife. This is their second day of being open. I had to add the business to Yelp. I've been to Germantown location and was excited when I heard Taziki's was adding a Bartlett location. They really were on the ball. The kitchen was packed with employees and they were really engaged and attentive. It was impressive to see. The service and food was exceptional. The restaurant looks great also with really pleasant natural light. We had the humus for an appetizer and I had the grilled pimento cheese and tomato basil soup. We tried several of the vegetarian options, hummus and pita, grilled veggie feast, grilled veggie gyro, tomato basil sandwich, grilled veggies quinoa bowl, and the kids grilled cheese. The vegetables were perfectly grilled. Most places overcook asparagus. There was more balsamic dressing in the quinoa bowl than I expected but that is a preference not a complaint. This restaurant is very popular where I work, since we're close, at least one person runs to get lunch there every week. Taziki's is consistent in its food quality and level of service, something that can make or break a business really fast. They have never messed up an order and the portion sizes are proportionate to the prices. read more

I visited Taziki's and my only complaint is that this is not real/authentic Mediterranean food. It's basically like Pei Wei and PF Chang's claim to be Chinese food, but it's entirely different. The food is decent, the restaurant and customer server is good; however, I don't consider it anything like real Mediterranean food. [EDIT] For clarity, the past year I frequently ordered a gyro with side #1 = soup and side #2 = fruit cup (instead of chips) using the app. The soup and fruit cup were both upcharges I gladly paid for a fulfilling meal that was a bit more healthy than what usually gets handed through a window. Recently Sneaky Taziki's stopped allowing us to do that. We now get no option at all to sub anything for side #2. Better like those chips! (I don't) Also, now when we sub side #1 for soup, we now also forfeit the handful of chips! At least according to the rather smug gentleman behind the counter the other day. Therefore, 1) Either the app needs to be updated because it is lying to customers by telling us as of 12/07/19 the soup substitutes only side #1 and thus we are still owed a pittance of potato chips (Check for yourself!) OR 2) The staff needs training on the new, stingier policy I hate Sneaky Taziki's appears to be struggling to the point they have to adopt this policy, I'd rather have paid a higher upcharge before it came to this. I hope this makes it clear that I am pointing out a legitimate concern and not trying to get, nor interested in, any freebies to make me happy. I just want the same meal I have paid for since the place opened. --------------------------------------------- I was a weekly visitor to Bartlett location, always ordered through app and paid upcharge to sub side #1 for soup and also sub fruit instead of chips. I was disappointed when they recently removed option in app to sub another side for chips, but then when I ordered, no chips. So I asked guy behind counter and he said policy is that I don't get chips when I sub for soup (even though there's already an upcharge to do that, and app shows it only subs for side #1!). I showed him the app and how it clearly does not reflect what he claimed, and he stood firm. He finally offered to give me an 'extra' side if 'that's what I want' and I simply walked out at that point before I made a scene. Best Greek food around. Never had a bad meal here. Love the weekend pasta special and you have to try the grilled salmon on it or on a salad. The salmon is huge and tastes amazing. So...I made the mistake of ordering the dinner for 4 meal in the drive thru with a fussy toddler. Once I pulled up, they informed me that it'd be a substantial wait. Feeling defeated, I was gonna just cancel the order then place one at the Sanderlin location over the phone, which was closer to home. The managers then came to the window. Once I explained the dilemma with an irritable baby in the back, they offered to let me pay at the window and just bring it to the car when ready. **Edit** Owner contacted me below via Yelp about wanting to make this right, as it seems he does for all the reviews. However, there are so many good restaurants around here with great service that I don't think I'll be going back. It's difficult as it is to get my kids into a restaurant and be able to eat and enjoy the experience, the chances of a repeat performance at this place is high and honestly I wouldn't even have gone in the first place had I known it was Greek fast food. When I go to the effort of getting out to a restaurant, I want the whole experience, not to be asked to tip up front for the pleasure of NO service other than bringing my food to the table. Wanted to like this place. It's clean but it's more of a Greek fast food place. Service was poor, not sure where all these glowing reviews are coming from. I stood at the counter for a while before one of the three girls behind the counter turned away from their conversation to see to me...the guest. The teenaged angst and general lack of professionalism is alive and well here just like any other fast food place except maybe Chick-fil-A. Not only that, I have a real problem tipping up front for the entire check when I have no idea what service I'll be getting, but they have the iPad pay system set up. That's frustrating. You feel like a grinch if you leave nothing and maybe I'm old school but I'll take the whole meal to evaluate how much I want to tip. Turns out I would've been extremely irritated if I had left a full tip BEFORE the meal. One of the counter girls brought our food and asked me how it was in a walk by 15 minutes later. Told her about the lack of feta (explained below) and there was no "Let me get you some" or "let me fix your gyro" or "I'm sorry". That is the sum total of the service I received. I asked for no onions, no tomato and add feta on my gyro. My gyro HAD onions and it was more like a stingy swipe of feta, a hint of feta rather than actually ADDING feta. I picked out the onions and added my hummus appetizer to the gyro. The lamb was spiced well so no complaints there. I had to go ASK for the drinks I ordered as well. This "service" alone was enough to keep me from returning. But wait...there's more. My boy had the kid feast and although he was excited about the fruit (and ate it all) the chicken cubes (yes, processed cubes) was as dry as the Sahara and after refusing that, he choked on the rice so bad (which was also dry) he threw up the fruit. Let me just add that each table has only enough napkins for the seats with the silverware inside it. No extra emergency napkins. Fun experience for a kid meal priced at $4.50. Overall, it was a complete disappointment and we won't be dining here again. Not sure why it has this many stars. read more

It was my first time eating here and had never heard of the place. I just happened to drive by some months ago before they opened. I went on a Saturday after a long day of work. I'm a new vegetarian and went in the hopes of finding some vegetarian options. Well to my surprise they had some interesting choices. This being my first visit I chose to eat inside. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly and hospitable, they checked on me periodically while I was eating. I ordered the grilled veggie gyro and an order of Taziki dip. The young lady who helped me order it was her birthday and she was so nice while I placed my order and she asked me if I wanted soft or baked pita chips with my dip, I was indecisive, but she quickly informed me that I could get both. I'm so glad she suggested that to me because I enjoyed both!!! When I say the food was amazing, OH MY GOODNESS!! I absolutely loved every bite of my food. I have been to some other places with Mediterranean food and had Taziki sauce, but this place Taziki's has topped every place I ever had this sauce. Taziki's dip is AMAZING!!!
