Tazza Kitchen was a lovely choice for Valentine's Day. The atmosphere struck a great balance between elevated and relaxed. Special enough for the occasion without feeling overly formal. It was my first visit, and I was genuinely impressed with the ambiance, service, and overall quality of the meal. The menu offers a nice variety of food and cocktails. I ordered the espresso martini, which was smooth and well balanced, and my boyfriend had the Vieux Carré, which he really enjoyed. We started with the cast iron goat cheese, and it was rich, layered in flavor, and paired with bread that was delicious on it's own. For my entrée, I chose the margherita pizza, and it was one of the best I've had. The sauce was perfect, and the crust had an ideal texture and flavor. My boyfriend ordered the spicy sausage & black pepper honey pizza. While neither of us found it particularly spicy, it was still bold and very flavorful. Service was friendly and efficient throughout the evening. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I'm looking forward to returning.

Tazza Kitchen has everything a stellar restaurant should: excellent and unique food offerings, speedy and polite service, an inviting atmosphere, and apparently even great happy hour deals for those who want to swing by after work. I am definitely the kind of guy who likes to plan ahead, and thankfully I remembered to do so for Valentine's Day. This place is very conveniently located on the outskirts of Short Pump and isn't hard to find, parking is plentiful as well. Went in through the interesting front door (which was HUGE, you can't miss it) and was politely greeted by the two hostesses who quickly led us to our table. I couldn't help but notice the fresh flowers and real candles that adorned every table, that is strong attention to detail right there and speaks to their quality. The menus revealed an impressive selection of items: outstanding pizzas, delicious appetizers like the goat cheese dip, and many other pasta, bowl, and steak options as well. The dip was amazing, and it was nice of them to bring more bread by for us (free of charge) even though that wasn't a listed element of the appetizer on the menu. We had to kept a little of the dip for our pizzas too, which turned out to be a good call! The spicy sausage pizza was my choice and I did not regret it one bit, and my girlfriend's margherita pizza was flavorful and excellent. Drink selection was similarly strong and I opted for a Vieux Carre and my girlfriend for an Espresso Martini. Both were well-crafted, attractive, and made a lasting impression. Their happy hour deals appear to be strong so we are hoping to return here again for those, particularly since many of our local happy hour favorites have been jacking up prices like crazy lately. Our server was excellent and made frequent callbacks, and pre-bussing was on point as well. We never felt crowded by plates, or indeed crowded at all thanks to intelligent table spacing and noise control elements within the restaurant. While this place is a bit on the pricey side, that is literally the only drawback, and even that can be mitigated by the happy hour deals if you go early enough. This place is a strong 5.0 stars, to be sure, and a strong choice for any occasion. Overall: 5.0 stars --- Pros: - Excellent meal offerings. - Top-notch service. - High-quality atmosphere makes it great for dates or commemorating special occasions. - Great drink menu with upscale ingredients and strong attention to detail. - Good location with enough parking to serve their guests. Cons: - A bit pricey during non-happy hour but their quality justifies those prices.

Classy industrial modern restaurant. Great cocktails no issues. Nice affordable good eats. Would definitely come back.

Hip Trendy Restaurant in Short Pump VA While on a trip to Richmond, my friend and I were having a blast enjoying new restaurants. She's an adventurous eater like me, and we both are always excited and eager to try new things and new places. This restaurant had a rustic atmosphere, with lots of exposed brick and fireplaces. My friend has a toddler and the restaurant got a plate of fries quickly to keep her son busy, while we were enjoying our drinks. Fries are an excellent distraction for busy and energetic children. The food was savory and tasty, the drinks were fantastic and the wait staff friendly and quick. The restaurant had a beautiful location and setting. If you visit Short Pump, Virginia look them up, for a quality meal.

Mocktails - both refreshing but probably wouldn't order again..

Food is always good here. We got the queso and it was delicioussssss. Then, shared a Caesar salad and a pizza. It was your typical goodness, but nothing to write home about. This inside is like a fun & lively restaurant vibe - not a bar/dive. Our server was nice but I had to ask for more water a few times (which docks points for me, personally). Still, I always enjoy visiting here and parking is pretty easy too, so that's a plus!

This bowl with shrimp was 10/10!! The ambiance is sophisticated and comfortable. Service was fast even when packed. The vegetables perfectly complemented the flavors of the shrimp and the Taziki sauce.

Perfect week night dinner spot or casual date night! The wedge salad was amazing with fresh and unique toppings. The crab cake was so flavorful and filled with large crab lumps. The salmon was a seasonal dish with a beautiful warm fennel salad and broccolini, and it was light but didn't leave you still hungry. The only slight let down was the cast iron goat cheese because there was basically no goat cheese just maybe a spoonful mixed into the tomato sauce. The food came quickly and the wait staff was attentive.

Service is great and the ambiance and food are good too. Good place for a birthday dinner. The bowl I got was yummy with tuna

Reserved our patio table online with ease. It was cozy and comfortable. There were a few dogs hanging out with their families enjoying the breeze. Our waitress served up smiles and good service all evening. We chose one seasonal drink, "Chill, Babe," and one beer. Our wood-fired (customized) pizza was so good! Just enough burn on the top. We also had the Mediterranean bowl which was hearty and flavorful. The roasted beets did not make my list of faves....I like beets and I like peanuts... but I don't like them together.

We dined here for a birthday celebration. It was my first time but pleased to say it will not be my last. The food was fresh, prepared timely and the service was prompt. Our waitress was thorough with orders and nothing came out incorrect or missing. She even asked about food allergies which was a + for me. It was dinner time so it was crowded. Good music was playing but we had a large party beside us and they were a loud bunch. Overall, it was a great experience! Looking forward to returning- this week! Cheers~

The food was good, but it was not as great as I was expecting it to be. There were a lot of food options that had nuts in them or nuts in the sauce that came with the meal. Luckily, I asked the waiter what one of the sauces were that came with the cauliflower and they include nuts in it because I'm allergic to nuts. It was not something that I could get and I noticed a lot of other foods on the menu included that same sauce so it would be helpful to me and many other people who I think are allergic to nutsto include maybe what that sauce has in it so that you don't have to ask or mention it on the menu that that item includes nuts. Other than that, the service was great. The atmosphere was great. We sat outside. It was a nice evening and the food that we did have was very good. We ended up being moved because we were initially sat in the corner outside, and there was no type of Breeze, but they did allow us to move to a different table in the open that had fans in the area so it was a nice evening.

There doesn't appear to be any real concrete theme which makes going to each hole exciting as you don't know what to expect. Everyone I interacted with was really nice and walked my friend and I through how to play. We ended up also eating upstairs and the food offerings were really yummy. We shared the soft pretzels as a starter which came with a delicious mustard sauce. I ended up getting their chicken sandwich as my main, I found the sandwich itself to be fried a bit too hard so I can't reccomend that but their fries appeared to be hand cut and those were absolutely delicious. Overall this place is a great spot for families, friends or I could even see this being a fun date spot. Its really a one stop shop with their restaurant and activities being in the same place. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: I'm updating my original one-star review to five stars…read more Our first visit was unfortunately a mess. Service on the rooftop was extremely slow, several menu items were unavailable, our order was incorrect, and the overall experience fell far short of expectations. To their credit, management reached out, listened to the feedback, and invited our group back to give them another chance. I'm very glad we did. This time we dined in the downstairs dining room, which has a beautiful moody-chic library atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a great meal. Our server, Sophie, was friendly, attentive, efficient, and everything service should be. The cocktails were all scrumptious and served in beautiful glassware. We started with the short rib and mac-and-cheese egg rolls, which were delicious. For entrees, our group ordered the Greek grain bowl, shrimp and grits, banh mi, Cobb salad, and Caesar salad. The Greek grain bowl was enormous--I gave it my best effort and still took home nearly a third of it. More importantly, every dish was excellent. No notes to give. Everything was top-notch. What impressed me most wasn't that the restaurant had a bad night the first time around. Every restaurant can have an off day. What impressed me was how seriously the feedback was taken and how dramatically different the second experience was. Manager Charlie Illes stopped by our table during the visit and played a major role in turning things around for us. The difference between our first and second visits was night and day. Harry's earned this revised review through accountability, hospitality, and execution. I'll absolutely be back based on this experience.

Parking is always a challenge here but on a nice summer evening the walk is not too For cocktails we got a watermelon basil margarita and an upper east side. I really enjoyed the margarita but not sure I tasted much watermelon . No complaints about the upper east side- a solid bourbon drink. We always get the shrimp oreganata for an appetizer and it was very good, but the bread did not seem very fresh and there was certainly not enough of it. We were told we would get more, but we never got it. I did enjoy my apricot spinach salad with salmon, but my husband and my friend weren't super impressed with garlic and thyme, butter salmon. Just not enough flavor.
