Probably by far, the highest quality custom car shop I've experienced. They don't cut corners, they…read morearen't what I'd call a high-volume shop, and their billing policy is fair. Essentially, you have to keep a $5K balance on account. I find that acceptable, as most of the initial risk is for the shop doing the work, so I'm cool with it. It limits the risk on both ends, and gives the shop a small initial advantage. Either side can divorce with only $5K of funds in contention. When you're talking large project dollars, that's maybe a week of work lost if either side thinks things aren't working out. Communication has been very good. I haven't had many opportunities to visit the shop, but I get detailed invoices and occasional shop photos of the work completed. None of it has been superfluous or just adding on goodies I don't need or are out of scope for the project. I get great questions about how far I want to go, and have dialed-back a few suggestions because I have a longer term plan for for the car. I don't feel oversold about anything. Shop is also very responsive if I want to communicate with Leonard or anyone else that has sent me questions. I, specifically, handed my car off to them and said, "I don't have a date I need it back." I've been very happy with the work they've done over the last two years, and we're very, very close to being done. Their work has been meticulous.

My boyfriend checked out a few places in Oakland and got some quotes, most were outrageous and the one that was the cheapest... was not legit.. saying they could repair a bumper that's clearly cracked and a piece pulled off. Like what? Y'all are trynna scam me. So glad I found Elite on Yelp! I called the number, send pictures of my damage. Randy immediately got back to me. Quoted me my price. Said when I'm ready I can pay him for parts, he'll order and then it'll take 2-3 days to fix. I said okay.. spoke to the person paying for damage, she gave me $. I then called Elite.. they said Zelle them the parts fee and I felt so scared and skeptical like how am I just gonna Zelle them and I don't get a receipt.. But they immediately texted me a picture of my receipt upon delivery of $. Which I appreciated. They texted me when part arrived on a Monday morning and even said they were gonna go ahead and paint it so when it's ready they can call me in to put it on and that way I don't have to be without a car for 2-3 days which I really appreciated as well! Saves me from having to get a rental!! They texted me a 3 days later on Friday saying part should be ready to install by Tuesday. They'd text me an update on Monday. UPDATE: They texted me to bring car in around 12:30pm but I had to pick my daughter up at 3:09pm, he said if I take it in now he'd be done before 3pm. I was a bit skeptical and didn't think they could, I arrived at 1:15pm and was gone by 2:15pm. Just in time to get my daughter not to mention I didn't have to be without a car for 2-3 days like they originally quoted. So I was very happy!!!!! Extremely pleased with the service.
