The entire appointment was rushed and the nail tech by the name of Cindy was unpleasant. After 24 hours the gel polish on my nails started to peal revealing wet paint underneath (wet paint can cause contact dermatitis) but they didn't care about that. I emailed the salon with no response so proceeded to call them and explain the situation. The response was they needed to see my nails before issuing a refund. I went to the salon and spoke to the woman who did my nails and another nail tech that said "it happens at our salon if you don't like our service I suggest not coming back" like no actually I don't love my nails ALL pealing after 24 hours of them being done. Anyways take this information as you will!

I really wanted to like this spot as it was my first time but I've NEVER paid that amount for a basic pedi with gel including an acrylic overlay on the big toes (must I add, I've done this at multiple other locations). This was not worth $73 and I will not be returning. Edit 5/18/24 10:43am: I'd like to add- the business just responded as we all see below and stated I messaged them previously. The only contact I made with them prior to my appointment was a phone call earlier in the day to set up the appointment for the pedi. From there, the only price "breakdown" given, was when they gave me a laminated sheet at the foot bath showing me the different pedicure price options. There was no communication regarding the additional $20 to add the acrylic overlay to 2 toes. The response to my review is also the first time I'm hearing of this $20 charge for the acrylic. Which, might I add, $20 for two toes is absurd. Now in regards to the "elementary" math. That is very degrading for a business to say to a customer who has willingly paid with no fight to avoid a confrontation. Along with the fact this just proves the service you'd be giving your future customers. It is an unfortunate response as these reviews are for the businesses personal use to improve any quality errors wherever those errors are made.while I respect the services and prices varies from place to place, I do not respect a place of business degrading, insulting, lying and not communicating to their customers. That's where the call ended. Once again- this business proves my point of being unprofessional. Instead of going back and forth with someone who has willingly paid you and If you guys read and comprehend what this complaint was about, you'd notice this was about the lack of communication, and that the price doesn't match the work after an error was made on your behalf. She took the time to understand what I wanted and even gave helpful suggestions based on my nail shape, instead of just rushing through the service. The final result turned out even better than I imagined -- the details were beautifully done, the lines were clean, and the color matched exactly what I had in mind. Out of 10 nails, 5 were chipped within just 7 days. That's unacceptable for a powder dip, especially when I've had this same service done with the previous owners. Mid you i left a $10 even after she handed me off to her husband whom was huffing and puffing as well as doing whatever HE wanted to do. When I came back to speak with them about getting it fixed, the same tech who messed it up in the first place raised her voice at me -- not sure what she said, but it was unprofessional and uncomfortable. The man who attempted to help me kept asking questions that had nothing to do with my actual complaint and repeated himself multiple times, confusing the issue even more. His excuse for the chipping? That they "only do two passes because it's clear." That's nonsense -- I've been getting clear powder dip for years, and that is simply not standard practice. It felt like I was being gaslit the entire time. To the new owners (7 months in): customer service and quality matter. If this is how you handle feedback, good luck -- you're going to need it. Upon walking in, I was nervous because there were only 2 technicians. One doing feet & one doing hands. I thought there was going to be a long wait, but these 2 women were fast & efficient without losing quality. Both women would ask for your approval, making sure expectations were met. Both women were gentle as well. I showed the designs, shape, including colors I wanted & they were matched to the T. A couple of my nails grow downward for some reason & she was also to fix them without using fake nails. The 2 kids were assisting with prepping, applying the final touches, ringing customers out & scheduling. I made sure to make another appointment before I left. Multiple people came in & called in asking for appointments & they were booked.
