This is a great place to go for relaxing, fast and friendly service. Please bear in mind that a lot of people give Mike a pretty bad review - spend some time with him and you'll realize it's likely just the language barrier that makes people think he's short with them, or "rude" but I assure you, he is not, and he is absolutely wonderful at pairing you with the right technician. This is essentially vital if you're getting french tips, as they don't paint them on, they use french tip gel to last longer and look more "bright white". There are maybe a handful of technicians with this stellar skillset. I got a gift certificate to this place right after we were allowed to go outside again after the pandemic. Had just a basic gel manicure and a pedicure and fell in love. They give you really nice massages and the atmosphere is relaxing. Again, they strive to have you in and out without having you feel rushed - because let's be honest, everyone's time is valuable. The facility is very clean, and they are sure to ask you all the questions you'd expect; nail length, shape, size - right down to double checking your color. It's important to note that they book up really fast, and very rarely have time for walk-ins because of this. I went to classy nails today for the first time. The nail attendant Coco was fantastic! She was meticulous about making sure all nails were the correct length and that my gel UV was universal. For the first time, I tried the magnetic nails and I love them. Coco did a great job! It's usually a little chaotic to check in, as they are always super busy when I go, but as soon as I'm in a chair, it becomes incredibly serene and relaxing. They have masseuses circle around and give shoulder massages while you get your nails done, or if your nails are drying at the counter. The manager was a complete jerk and very disrespectful to me and my sister. we made appointments for manicure (full set and regular gel) and pedicures (one regular and one spa). They took so long on our nails and proceeded to tell us that we didn't make an appointment for a spa pedicure and they don't have time for it because they are closing. he continued to argue me that I was wrong even though I know what I made an appointment for. he yelled at me, argued with me, then proceeded to kick my sister out of the chair and told us to leave because he didn't care. I'm not one to leave reviews but I had such a negative experience I needed to share. I called and booked a full set french manicure (dip). When I arrived they asked me to pick a color so I explained I wanted a french tip, the man at the counter was seemingly frustrated and was short with me. He said I'd have to wait because the service I wanted takes longer. After waiting a while I was finally seated and someone came to do my nails. The man doing my nails was rushing, they were busy but that's no excuse. He cut my cuticle and it started bleeding, he didn't clean it and just carried on! he even used the dip over the blood on my nail!!!!! so now there's blood in my nail.... I also showed them a photo and he proceeded to do the thickest french tip i've ever seen.... I was so frustrated I just didn't say anything because i wanted it to be over. I was so upset that I wound up going to a different nail place to get them fixed!!!! they also used nail extensions that didn't fit my fingers so they're crooked and popping up! will not be going back and i don't recommend ANYONE go here. I usually do not go out of my way to make a review. But this has rubbed me the wrong way and I feel the need to let others know. I frequent Classy Nails often. But the last 3 times I've been it feels rushed, like you're an inconvenience, and the owner was flat out rude. It is constantly busy and feels like a "sweat shop". My mom and I went in for pedicures that we scheduled days in advance to then be told we couldn't get the pedicure we wanted that they did not have enough time. So we could only pick the $55 one. Ok fine. We're getting the pedicures and the gentleman who was doing my mom's told her that he has extra time now and can do another 10 monies of massage my mom says yes. When we were both finished they charged my mom $75 and myself $55 when we got the SAME $55 pedicure. We explained we got the same thing and the owner came rushing up to the desk saying my mom got extra massage.... $20 more apparently... so instead of causing a scene we paid the fall amount and left. We feel ripped off and rushed out. I used to love coming to Classy Nails but in the last year they have really gone down hill and seem like they don't care very much about their customers but instead just about the money. read more

Had a spa pedicure this week. $55 for a super rushed job. They people in charge have timers set for the technicians with each client. Pedicure was average. Barely cleaned up nails and removed calluses. Top coat is definitely not name brand. Super dull. Technician wasn't friendly. 10 minute massage/reflexology after pedicure was ok. Overpriced. Crazy that they have someone other than technician who did your nails do the massage. That way you have to tip 2 different people. Not worth the money. I go to better places in Boston for $28. Left feeling super rushed. This place used to be decent. And pedicures would be one hour at the same price. Super crowded and just felt like a number. Don't recommend. read more

This was my first experience at Classy Nails & Spa. I am so disappointed and bummed to say it will be my last. Unfortunately my nail tech was very unfriendly and he exhibited zero customer service. I have lived all over the U.S., as well as overseas and I am shocking myself by saying this was the worst nail salon I have ever been too. When I went to adjust my right foot off the foot rest (THE FOOT HE WASN'T WORKING ON), he barked at me not to do that. No,.... "please," no "are you uncomfortable," absolutely nothing. I was hoping throughout my pedicure he would have a more amiable personality, but it never happened and his approach really made the whole experience uncomfortable. When I paid, I didn't complain; I just paid my bill and went on my way. When I got about 15 feet out the door, the man that worked the counter, actually opened the door and yelled at me from the door (in front of all the customers), "why didn't I tip?" I was very taken aback at the unprofessionalism. I've never been ANYWHERE and been confronted about tipping. I'm actually a very generous tipper when it is warranted, but I'm not going to go above and beyond with a tip when you are blatantly unkind and unfriendly to me. When I got home, I started reading their reviews and wished I had read them before going because there is so much truth in each of them. To be fair, I'm sure like every business, there are also wonderful and friendly nail techs at this facility. I might have given this place another chance by requesting a different tech, if it were not for the guy yelling from the door. He could've easily been a gentleman, walked up to me and asked me kindly and I would've given him the feedback. It makes me wonder if the owners get a cut of the tips even if it's strictly a cash tip. Another concern I have is the UV Nail Light they had me put my feet in. I've never put my feet in one that has a bottom. It was a metal bottom. My hope is that it is sanitized after each use. I cannot confirm they do or don't. I wish that I could give this place 0 stars. Where do I start. My gf went here to get her nails done and had the worst experience. She came home to me nearly in tears with how the staff had treated her. To be specific the male owner who is a skinny short man named Mike. He demeaned her in front of the entire place because she was 5 mins late to her appointment and then after leaving a 10 $ tip on a 90$ full set he yelled at her in front of everyone saying that if she wants to be cheap and not tip 20% not to come back. I went to this place about three times and loved it. Today it's NEVER AGAIN. I came in on what is my only day off. The owner took me even though I didn't have an appointment which is fine bc they take walk ins. He asked me what I wanted for my nails and I said a French gel fill. He said fine but next time make an appointment (as though it's my fault they take walk ins or I know their schedule). He proceeded to take off my nail polish and asked what shape and I told him stiletto. He said almond? I said no, stiletto and showed him a photo of the shape. He starts filing my nail and after one he starts yelling at me telling me he doesn't have time to do my nails. He f-ing filed ONE nail and then refused to work on my nails telling me he doesn't have time for a different shape. Then why tf did you file one?! Now they ALL have to be that shape! I have been going to Classy Nails for about 20 years, well before the current management. With the previous owner, you could request a nail tech that you preferred and that you had a rapport and connection with. This is just part of standard and good customer service in any establishment. Mike, who has been the owner for around 8 years or so, does not allow this. You get whoever he wants to assign to you. This is a problem because although there are some excellent nail techs there such as Grace, Jamie, and Mia, you could also get an untrained and inexperienced nail tech lacking an eye for detail. In those cases you need to tell them to polish the ends of your nail, clean up where they painted your finger, and even to trim your cuticles. Today I had one of those. When I pointed out to Mike that my pedicure needed to be cleaned up and that my toenails were inconsistently cut, he told me that I needed to, "Go, find a new place!" This man has never been a man with any personality or charm, but he has some good workers that carry him through and for the most part, deliver a pretty good product. His behavior today was just as the many other poor reviews state- "rude and disrespectful". I have spent thousands of dollars at this place over the years, and think it is important for people to know that their money is going to a man who is ungrateful, ill-mannered, and extremely disrespectful. read more

I have NEVER dealt with the level of unprofessionalism I encountered with the "Manager" of this business. I paid $300 for services in one day for manicures and pedicures for myself and my niece. I am also a regular customer (or at least was) and spend $100-$150 every several weeks in this same location. I was essentially berated into giving a 20 percent tip. The person identifying himself as the "Manager" had a temper tantrum; refused to stamp my card that is part of their promotion; and insisted he "gives good service." I had miscalculated the tip and was paying in cash. Instead of making a suggestion about this, he was verbally abusive. To such an extent that my niece left the building. He claimed I'd undertipped during a prior pedicure when I haven't had a pedicure in 6 months. No one has any right to strong arm customers into tips they prefer. The "good service" he claims they provide is average at best and includes an hour of silence because the staff prefer to talk with one another in a different language over engaging paying customers. Anyone else would have appreciated a $300 tab in one appointment. Not this place. For the record I ended up tipping nearly $60 because it was a miscalculation. I will not subject myself to such abuse and discourage anyone from going to this place as verbal abuse is not part of any good service I'm aware of. Spend your money in a location where people know how to interact professionally with customers and don't take paying customers for granted. This all took place in front of a full room of customers. Go to literally ANY other nail salon but this one unless you embrace being abused. read more

I have gone here a few times after becoming unsatisfied with modern nails. The first time I went the woman who started my toes barely cut them and put me in a massage chair that didn't work. I LOVE massage chairs. Luckily a man took over and fixed everything except the chair, and he did a great job and gave me an amazing massage. I decided to go back and have had a great experience ever since. Compared to modern they give a WAY better and WAY longer massage.
