An overdue review but Tina is great to work with! This is my first time getting my brows done. I knew I wanted something natural, so I'm glad she started offering her feather nano brow service. This technique creates strokes that look like your eyebrow hairs! Tina was super communicative throughout the whole process, from the initial booking to the appointment to the touch ups. She made sure I was comfortable with every step in the process. There were moments when I felt like I was being scratched, but to be expected when getting a tattoo in a sensitive area. She answered all my questions in a timely manner and was proactive in checking in on how the healing was going. She really cares about her craft and it comes through with each stroke she takes. Expect ~4-5 hours depending on your service. This includes talking through what you want, mapping, preparing the ink/needle, tattooing, then any touch ups if necessary. There is a parking lot and it's easy to find her studio once inside the building. Before this procedure, I would say I have a lot of brows hairs but there's not much color to them - when I took pictures, it looked like I didn't have any brows. I casually drew in my brows just to add some color but I knew it was a half hearted job. After getting my brows done with Tina, I can't help but look at them in pictures and think, wow, they look so full! Life changing! Getting my brows done has polished my look and allows me to feel more put together on the daily. It was so easy to book with Tina. She's easy to communicate with through text and gives clear directions. The process was so simple. The initial brow mapping takes a while but it's important to be patient and give Tina time to get it just right. The actual process of tattooing the ombré brows was just a little uncomfortable, I wouldn't say it was painful. It feels like needle scratching the surface of your skin. I got used to it after a while and managed to fall asleep. I was surprised and was also embarrassed as a snore woke me up. The after-care was simple, I had kept my brows dry when instructed and applied ointment like my life depended on it. It also helps to calm the itch from healing. I've received so many compliments and I'm very happy with my brows and experience. I went back for touch up after 6 weeks and the process was similar but much quicker. This is a lengthy review but it's for all of yall who are curious but not sure if you should take the plunge! A little bit of background: I have naturally mismatched brows where one arch is higher than the other, sparse areas and short in length. I have no skills in drawing my brows and whatever I manage to draw on with a pencil, they don't last all day. I am also too scared to do procedures like microblading. After seeing a friend come back with amazing brows from her visit with TC Brows, I decided it's high time I invest in my brows. And I am SO glad I did! I went for the Ombre Powder Brows for the natural finished look. The studio was very easy to find and parking was ample in the adjoining lot. This is important for me because I find street parking tedious as I cannot to this day parallel park. What impressed me the most was Tina's knowledge and eye for what brow shape suits you because I didn't really know what I wanted. After hearing my brow woes, she examined and then suggested what shape would suit me the best before mapping out my brows. The mapping process takes a while but this is because Tina really takes the time to map and shape the brows to what would suit me the best. She showed me every tweak she made because it changed my overall appearance. You really get to see her intuition at work here. After agreeing on the final shape, she started the ombré powder process. I felt pretty much no pain, just very light vibrating scratches. I had one of those tv makeover revelation moments when I saw my finished brows! They are darker and more intense looking but I was assured they will lighten up as they heal and the color sets. I made sure to follow her aftercare instructions by the letter. It's been two weeks and she is right! The color settled and my brows look so natural! I love my brows every time I see my reflection! I just want to express my gratitude to Tina for taking care of this brow newbie throughout the whole process and really taking the time with each step to ensure that I will have the best outcome.
