Two times in as many weeks they are out of menu items. Called ahead this time to ensure they have the deep fried mushrooms, a popular item. After placing my entire order and waiting I am informed that they're out of mushrooms...again. One would think that management would have better inventory for popular items. This was on a Thursday about 6pm and hardly anyone in the restaurant. I see another business going under. Tried it after reading mixed reviews and glad we did. Got breakfast sandwiches which were both yummy. Crispy hash browns (as described on the menu) were not crispy, but they were good. Great cup of diner coffee, food service and value. read more

Just left there very annoyed. We waited at least 20 minutes with absolutely no recognition that we were there from the four waitresses walking around. About 15 minutes after we walked in, two other groups of people came in. One immediately got their drinks put in and brought out and the other table talked to two of the waitresses they seemed to know. A third waitress even looked at my 9 month old and told the table in front of us he was a cute baby. They weren't busy but even if they were they could've at least acknowledged us and let us know it would be one moment or at least take our drink order. Probably won't be back. read more

Breakfast potatoes are gross and bacon is far overcooked. The staff are friendly but breakfast needs some serious work. The burgers are ok.

This place isn't the same now that's it's under new owners. The food portions are smaller, the prices are more expensive and the customer service has gone down as well. My family ate here for lunch on Saturday and the cashier at checkout was very rude. We will not be going back. The food isn't that good to be treated rudely. read more

Went on Saturday morning for breakfast, new owner standing at counter. Did not even greet us left and got someone else to sit us. After several minutes no one coming to help take orders or drinks. And given lunch menus for breakfast, walked out. Shame hopefully just a bad day for them, usually great food and service. read more

Food is either unseasoned or over-seasoned. Burgers and steaks rarely cooked correctly. To top it all off the service is terribly slow even when the place has few people in it. Avoid and go to waffle house instead. read more

When we first went to TC's Grill, we had crispy fries, a great well-cooked burger, and we enjoyed it. Always seems crowded around lunch. We have eaten here about 4-5 times. On a recent visit, we arrived about 4 pm......ordered cheeseburgers and were really looking forward to some great fries.....Boy, were we ever disappointed!! What we got was a pile of grease-soaked fried potato "pieces", little dark pieces that looked like they had been warmed over, or recycled from lunch. I complained to the waitress, and she was nice, apologetic, and brought us a small plate of "more of the same". We left them uneaten. Also, we ordered our burgers cooked Medium....and they were cooked Rare......and we ate only parts of them. The salad was okay, blue cheese dressing made it better. Upon paying with the cashier, we asked if there was a new cook. A man behind the counter who appeared managerial [but didn't introduce himself] turned and replied.....no, Michael has been here 3 years......but he didn't inquire of us if we had any complaints or compliments.......we found that enlightening and were surprised he seemed so disinterested in his customers' dining experience. We won't be eager to return here, and that's too bad, because we really did enjoy it on some of our visits. read more

This was by far the most disgusting food I've ever eaten. ( the 2 bites anyway ). Everything was old, cold, putrid, as well as extremely over-priced. Will never, ever go back and as I'm writing this, I feel nauseous all over again. Canned dog food would've been a much better choice. Food poisoning is probable and welcomed just so you could throw that garbage up. If you haven't been here save yourself the money and Doctor visit because you will definitely need antibiotics. By far the absolute worst "restaurant" I've ever eaten in my entire life. DONT DO IT!!!! read more

This is a great local place! I've been several times now and haven't been disappointed yet. Breakfast features everything from pancakes to breakfast biscuit sandwiches to some great specials. All are reasonably priced, fresh, and yummy. Lunch time at TC's features an awesome weekday lunch special for $5, which includes the entree and a side. Not many places left where you can get a quality lunch for $5! Of course, you can also order off the regular menu, too. We've had the breakfast specials, pancakes, breakfast biscuits, burgers, Shirley's salad, kids hot dogs, grilled cheese, the lunch chicken tender special--all have been good. In fact, I think TC's has some of the best chicken tenders and fries around! (And I am picky about both.) Plus, we've generally encountered friendly, helpful staff and good service--the one time we didn't, they comped our meal. TC's is a place where they make you feel like a valued regular--whether you've been there many times or its your first time. read more

I'm a local and had previously stopped eating at this establishment due to poor quality of food. I've been told by several friends that I need to go back and give it another try because the food is fantastic now. They were right! I had one of the most amazing cheeseburgers of my life! So happy you made a change in wherever you buy your meat. The old kind (my last time dining previously was 2015) was nasty and was like chewing rubber. No taste at all. No one in my family liked their food. This was even after several dining experiences and we decided we wouldn't be back BUT I am back as a loyal customer as long as you keep it up! Whatever changes you made were right! We had great service also. I was a little nervous after reading other reviews saying it was bad recently but it makes me wonder if they even ate there.... ?!? I'm thankful for my honest friends encouraging me to give you another try. I hope people will take this into consideration and try it themselves. They won't regret it!! read more
