The spot is small but it's clean and the staff was friendly. I was very happy that I was greeted as soon as I went in. I did not know what I was ordering. No clue. The cashier was super helpful. I got the galaxy drink and it was amazing. It's not a 5 star review because I wasn't explained the way you can adjust the sweetness levels. Mine was too sweet. The other downside was the poppy boba. It's ok. The texture was great. But the syrup in it was thick and extremely sweet. I tossed it once the tea was gone. Half the cup was ice and boba. The boba was the major turn off. Syrup galore. Everything just comes out super sweet. I'm a Thai tea fanatic and I thought I would give this a shot. But I would much rather go to a Thai restaurant and get Thai tea that way. Today I got a brown sugar milk tea here. I was taste only milk flavor. I was very disappointed for the price over $6. I rather go Walmart get one gallon whole milk. And the boba was so hard. This is second time come to this little boba shop. First time I ordered matcha latte w/ cheese foam it was taste just like water and the boba was so hard too. I cannot believe how they still have her as a staff representing this nice tea shop. If they ever put anybody on training they should also check their attitude. Heads up, they have a slightly different menu from the Palm Desert location and staff will NOT make any substitutions or adjustments to your drink. If you want them to recreate your favorite drink from PD location, you're out of luck. That's not the reason for low stars though. Management should train staff on customer service (ex: greet customers and respond to thank you's), on top of making drinks. The female employee that was working there today around 130pm was a bit clueless and careless with the POS system. How did management let someone like that work the register? Guess times really are rough, must be hard to find decent employees. read more

i visited the cat city location, and unlike most of the people here, i had no problem with the service! i came during a relatively uncrowded time, but i got my drinks amazingly quick! i love the reusable cup the drink comes in, and the music and energy in the shop is super fun! as for the drink itself; (i ordered a dirty milk tea with boba) it was super good!! the boba was clearly freshly made and the brown sugar made it just the right amount of sweet! i'd consider myself a boba milk tea connoisseur, and this place definitely made it to the top of the list! read more

Bad drinks, come to Los Angeles, San Jose, or Westminster. It's a boba place for people who don't know boba. Trust me. I've had enough.

Breaking it down, I would give 3 for customer service, but 7 for the product...and after all I go for the drinks. The PD store always drove nuts for the same reason - awful treatment of customers but darn it, I just kept going back. The one issue I had today was the music was like a Hello Kitty Acid Rock and so loud that I could not hear what the order taker was saying. While I waited I had to use noise canceling earbuds and play something pleasant to drown it out. Errrrr... but they put that taro tea and strawberry boba in my hand and everything was good.
