LOVED the experience here when I decided to try a new place in the area. The man at the register was so nice as I picked out an amazing sourdough biscuit that was to die for! It was so fresh and with jam, perfect. I'm going to drop by again before I head home. The vibe here is as advertised, social and play. There are a few games available inside and some outside. There was a Mah Jong group that came in, made food and drink overs, and settled in upstairs for their game time. Parking in the lot behind and around is easy. There is also a wonderful water fountain outside you can sit near. Plenty of room for everyone. Many small groups for people similarly enjoying their treats and spending quality time chatting. There were also a few individuals there for a while like me so it was easy to feel welcome here. I really love it when there are unique places like this for everyone to enjoy.

Lumpia

Cute place. Saw it while driving by so i stopped. Banana Nutella latte was super yummy. Needed more ice but still good. The lumpia were ok. 4 super tiny pieces. Good snack but not worth the price. Staff was friendly. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor.

Yummy smoothie in a cute spot with fabulous art and a great patio near a fountain. Friendly efficient service too!

Stopped by on our way of Palm Springs and loved everything about it. The food and coffee were great. The atmosphere and outdoor seating were very nice. Staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

The Social Cafe and Lounge is a fantastic shop in Palm Springs. Bright and comfortable inside and classically open and fresh outside. I've had the pizza and tots and they were great. I really need to get back to have a sandwhich next. If you have an opportunity to attend an evening event you will be amazed that every seat is perfect. The staff is attentive and friendly and the owners are really dialed in to what makes this community special.

Visited this place since my friends and I were having a coffee craving and this place did not disappoint! First there is plenty of seating inside and outside (the outside has mists so it's not too hot). The decor is also amazing, I loved all the color and how vibrant everything is! Service is also great and everyone was very friendly! As for the drinks and pastries - all were very tasty and really loved the pumpkin cheesecake muffin! Highly recommend!

Iced Honey Lav Latte and berry parfait

This was my first time coming to this coffee shop. I always love to try new places and I always drove by here and wanted to check it out. Once I arrived I loved the outdoor and indoor seating was so nicely set up and spaced out. Only bad part about sitting outside was there was a thousand bees from all the flowers on the trees. I ordered my drink at the front like usual but it was very "transactional" experience. Just what can I get you and tap your card right here. I would like to come back here but since I was the only person in line I thought service would be more focused around friendliness. The person ringing me up also seemed sick which was off putting as I am a bit of a germophobe. I just got the berry parfait and iced honey lavender latte which both of which I enjoyed. A nice touch was the person who made my drink walked my coffee over to me with a smile, that was awesome to see from that employee.

Banana Nutella latte

Such a cute spot! Lots of games to play. Ordered the iced banana Nutella latte (something I would probably never go for) but it sounded so good at the moment and WOW. Not disappointed. It is SO yummy. So I glad I went out of my comfort zone!

I had my sister and her goddaughter visiting for 3 weeks from Tennessee. The goddaughter was 11 years old at this time. We went to Play Lounge and had a blast!!! We played multiple games, had sodas and ice cream, and enjoyed ourselves.. Service was friendly and fast. It was 117° outside on this day. It was nice to be inside with a/c pumping and a stimulating environment for our kiddo. I recommend PLAY LOUNGE to anyone seeking a friendly environment for kids that like to play board games.

Breakfast burrito

There are so many options out here but got this recommendation from a local. Dog friendly and lounge area is huge with a view of the mountains. I wasn't sure what to expect from a coffee shop and was thrilled with their food options. I ordered the breakfast burrito and I kid you not, the best I have had in years! Wait staff was ultra friendly, speedy when it came to getting my food, patrons were friendly and sociable.

Such a great little spot!! Wonderful coffee with full flavors and good bites. I had the Homemade egg bites and the in house made pico de gallo!! Such great flavours. For those looking for alternative milk options (coconut, almond, soy and oat), this place has it all and the lattes and cappuccinos are extremely well made. The indoor space is inviting and outdoor space is fantastic. You won't be disappointed!! Come check it out!!

We didn't have any issues around 10pm. Seating: An intimate lounge for the most part, bar seating, group seating, room for about 50 people total. Vibes: Downtown Palm Springs is an eventful place. Small enough that it's close to the type of vibe you need. As for the space itself, it has a dim lighting, a tv for sports or popular shows if you just want to zone out. You have your usual singers and a good ebb and flow of people trying to catch a song. Karaoke is definitely the heart of this place. Whether someone is absolutely crushing it or having fun with friends, it's a supportive place with good vibes all around. DRINKS Vodka Soda with Lime (Recommend) A simple drink that gets the job done. Cold, refreshing, and well balanced. Just a solid cocktail to help you relax and enjoy the vibes. CUSTOMER SERVICE Friendly, attentive, and easygoing. DJ is great and same as the servers. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. Good drinks, welcoming people, and one of those neighborhood bars that doesn't have to be expensive and flashy. Great space where people can laugh, sing, meet new friends, and enjoy a night out. Enjoy! TIPS * Karaoke is the main attraction--don't be afraid to sign up for a song. * Vibes will come in waves, sometimes it's poppin and sometimes its chill.

If you didn't know better you'd think you were in LA in the summer, excepty for the bocce ball. They have an excellent selection of spirits, cocktails. Maybe a little varied, but decently creative. The only thing that gets me is pricing. Sure you pay for everything for decor, glassware and not just spritis, but I recall wondering how they price their drinks becuase not everything is equal or standard mark up when some things aren't house made it's easy to cost out becuase you stop paying for creativity after a certain point. It feels like they took alot of Mr. Lyons business model and use that for pricing rather than a sole entity with their own margins. The service makes up for it, the ambiance makes up for it. The crowd makes up for it. Far less wrinkled and aging snowbirds and retirees circling the drain in their waning days. People dressing up and celebrating, genuine convivialness abounds with most guests. It's not somewhere else trying bring that vibe here, it's pretty authentic. Most people who wander between the 2 take pause and awe for a few seconds before their mood shifts to match the room. Not a place to get sloppy and party that way unless it's a closed event. It's a great, classic PS lounge for when you have 2 groups of friends who you can entertain, the steakhouse crowd for dinner and the loungers beforehand. AMBIANCE Parking: Street parking and plaza parking. You really shouldn't have any issues unless there's a major festival or something. Seating: Plenty of seating! I mainly saw inside seating from groups to bars. Vibes: You're pretty much in Downtown Palm Springs but also prime location for LGBTQ+ nightlife. The spot itself can be chill and not so chill depending on the events. Regardless, I felt welcomed and enjoyed the vibrant and fun energy. The drag brunch was great! The performers brought charisma, comedy, incredible costumes, with plenty of audience interaction. Whether it was your first drag brunch or your fiftieth, the energy made you feel included. DRINKS Mimosa (Recommend) Simple, refreshing, and exactly what you want during brunch. Light, bubbly, and easy to sip while cheering on the performers. CUSTOMER SERVICE Ongina was served as the MC and was great! The servers were pretty cool too. Good banter, pretty friendly and a good flow. TL;DR OVERALL 4.5 Stars. No complaints on vibe or service. But we need to talk about the furniture. I sat down on a booth that crackled like it was held together by a single roll of duct tape and sheer optimism. The patio chairs are in the same boat; wobbly stools held together by a prayer, and what looks like clearance-rack lawn furniture. This is Palm Springs, a town famous for its mid-century modern design, and the seating currently looks like it lost a fight with a garage sale. I'll absolutely keep coming back and recommending this place. The atmosphere and people are worth it, but the furniture needs an upgrade to match everything else this place has going for it. I have been to Zaldas nightclub years ago and it was a fun place. Anyway, looked up on Yelp and found this gem and my friend and I got excited, took an Uber and went straight to the club. We didn't have this much fun in a long time. David was very nice, kind and attentive. Since we had already eaten, we only ordered drinks. We both opted for Coconut Margarita (blended) didn't want to cross the line and get drunk. That is why we took the Uber down there. Smart idea right? Right! They have a dance floor, DJ, and live music. Also a cover charge for entrance. $10.00 which is not bad at all. Other places charge way more..Can't comment on the food, since we didn't eat there. The minute I came back from the restroom to my seat, this lovely elderly gentlemen invited me to dance. Since he was more like my friend's age, she thought that he was about to ask her to dance.. Place was very clean, David checked on us twice, and the feeling/vibe along with the atmosphere was just PERFECT!! The song that the band was playing was "Besame Mucho". I am sure most of you have heard of that song, if you haven't, it's never too late. If I happen to be in Palm Springs again, I will definitely go back to this club. You are never too old to have fun. One of the reasons I keep coming back is the availability of private dining rooms that are conveniently located near the main dining area. If you're planning a group dinner meeting, just be aware that the sliding doors don't completely block out the noise from the dining room, so conversations may not be as secluded as you'd expect. That said, the food is consistently outstanding. The heirloom tomato salad is an absolute must-order. The crème fraîche dressing is incredible. Pro tip: save some bread to soak up every last bit of it. For the main course, the mesquite-smoked carne asada is exceptional. The meat is cooked perfectly, and the combination of pinto beans, ranchera sauce, and slightly sweet corn pudding creates a balanced and memorable dish. The portions are thoughtfully sized! Satisfying without leaving you feeling overly full. And whatever you do, don't skip dessert. They're all worth trying, but the macchiato cake is the standout and the perfect way to end the meal. Whether you're meeting clients, celebrating a special occasion, or simply enjoying a night out, Eight4Nine delivers excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a dining experience that keeps me coming back.

A couple girls ordered the carne asada, and really enjoyed that as well. I'd say the biggest miss for our group was with the drinks. One gal ordered a vodka soda with lots of lemons. She recieved a literal glass of vodka, full, with a whole bottle of sparkling water on the side. This was so odd, but we're not the type to send things back so she went with it. Another lady ordered the manhattan and the server noticed immediately that it didn't look quite right, and had that fixed. It had come with an orange slice and no vermouth originally.
