Lots of fun and cool drinks. They still have seasonal drinks so my friend got a gingerbread chai...I think it was and she said it was delicious. I had the opt for something with no sugar and tried the roasted oolong, but that didn't taste great so they changed it for the Jasmine tea which was so much better and I got to enjoy that with my friend while we played Jenga and vibed out to the awesome playlist they were playing. There was one point where we both got up and started dancing a little bit... That was fun. Great service! We'll be back. The only downside is that there is no food or snack offered there what?!

I've been going here from time to time and usually get the matcha or jasmine tea. This time, my mom tried the strawberry matcha, but it wasn't as good. It tasted a bit more sour than sweet and the strawberry didn't really complement the matcha. The service was pretty fast since we were the only ones there and it's still a good place to go for boba in Palm Desert. It's also a fun place to hang out since they provide board games. Thank you!

I was craving a Taro boba milk tea and tried this place for the first time. Everything looked so good so I got 2 drinks (one Taro and one Strawberry Matcha). I wish they had options to sample before buying. The Taro milk tea was amazing and I love the honey boba on the bottom. The strawberry matcha was recommended by the worker with the strawberry popping boba and it was not good. I usually love matcha but didn't like the earthy flavor. Also, the popping boba was not the same as traditional boba. Overall, I would go again. The place was really cute! While we waited they had games to play which was awesome while waiting! I will probably stick to getting my usual. Hope this helps

When I'm in the desert visiting family I try and make a stop here. Tea be honest has been a favorite of mine for a while now. Service is awesome, staff is always warm and welcoming. I know they have opened up several new locations so it's nice to know they continue to grow! Their Thai tea is also delicious! Also their tea refreshments are always on point!

Great drinks, well balanced in sweetness and flavor and most importantly, soft chewy honey boba. This was my first time here and so I tried their taro hokaido blended with boba , taro blended and strawberry milk tea with strawberry boba. This place has a bit more variety in boba flavors which was a nice change as most boba places I go just has honey boba or brown sugar. Loved the sturdy containers with a straw cap. Decor of the place could use some warmth and color but it was clean. I will return to try more flavors.

The gal that helped us out was super sweet and friendly. It definitely felt inviting and I love the fact that the business shares its Asian owned so we were hopeful that the quality would be of great quality. The drinks were well made and I'm they did use fresh fruits for our drinks. The only reason I dinged them a star is the ambiance of the place. There were some displays of games, but no background music to bring up the atmosphere a bit. While waiting for our drinks, it just seemed a bit of a downer since there was nothing upbeat to the place. Other than that the boba was made fresh and quality was definitely there in the drinks

Tea Be Honest, I don't recommend this place. We were so disappointed!! We specifically came here to try out new boba spots we haven't been to since we're not from the area and this was one of the top ones. Reviews and ratings were high and convinced us to come! They even had cute cups... but really, they're just all cup. We got there pretty early since we had a big day ahead of us and wanted to grab something for our trip. I still needed my coffee for the morning and settled on some kind of salted caramel cold brew since they didn't have very many selections, coffee-wise, on the menu. My bf usually gets the Hokkaido milk tea but they only had some kind of blended one with taro? He asked the young lady working there and she said they could do it. He went for their large cup since it was just so "extra" and out of the norm. It's a very tall and slim cup that is way bigger than your average large. We sat down and waited for our drinks which came out in a few minutes. I snapped some pics in front of their cute little vine wall decor up front and then started drinking it. It tasted like it had gone bad? I don't even know how to describe it. It tasted like there was no coffee at all, pure sweetness, and just overall tasted off. I even ordered extra boba because that's how I like it. The boba had a nice texture, nothing crazy but that's about the only good thing about the drink. I ended up not even taking another sip and dumping it out. I bought an iced latte from another cafe and added the boba into it to try to salvage it. It wasn't perfect, still had that weird flavor lingering but at least I could have some boba in my drink. My bf drank a bit of his but even that was pure sweetness. No tea. It had NO TEA. I'm not sure what kind of brew they use for their drinks, we noticed some said dairy free and we avoided those specifically because we've had bad experiences from other places that offered that. Something just isn't right. Maybe that's how most boba places are around here and that's what everyone is used to? So sad!! Y'all need to get better boba places out here. We're from LA where there are a ton of different ones but they're good and at least drinkable. Sad to leave a 1 star on a boba place. I really wanted to find one out here that I would like so we can visit again next time.. but definitely not coming back to this spot. :( IG: @ammysalamii

I got a messy horchata at the palm desert location and it was probably the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted. It was super watered down and didn't even taste like horchata. Never going there again. I went to the other location in cathedral city right after and it doesn't even compare. 10/10 recommend that location in cathedral city instead. read more

TO BE HONEST... Tea Be Honest was not for me. I guess it could have been the two drinks that I chose (which is why I'm doing 3 stars instead of 2) so I will have to return and try other items; but this 3 stars is me being nice and reviewing on a first time try. Oh and don't try getting boba before 12pm; this boba spot does not have their honey boba until after 12pm and I came at 11am and was not about to wait just for that. They did, however, have their "crystal boba" and that tastes like plain jelly (if you've gone to other boba tea houses they have coffee jelly, grass jelly, etc). Ok on to the drinks! I had the iced dirty milk tea and the ice blended taro and Hokkaido milk both with crystal boba. Upon first sip, it was immensely sweet; like THEE sweetest boba I've ever drank ever. And I mean, if you're into liquid diabetes then these two drinks will do it for you, but I'm not really into that. I normally would order like an iced VN coffee but they didn't have that flavor. The milk tea was tolerable after my ice melted and somewhat watered down the drink. I still couldn't stomach the taro one. My 4 year old liked it, but I mean she enjoys anything sweet. The place itself is super cute and the menu looks like it has a lot of offerings. I can probably ask for half sweet next time or something? Also, I came and their was no one in front of me but it still took like 5-6min to order and 10min for my drink to come out. Hope y'all work out the kinks! Still hopeful for this place. read more

This is my favorite boba place! They have so many unique flavor options and their service is always really quick. I think they have some of the best tapioca pearls I have ever had. The boba pearls are never half-cooked or hard. I never leave here disappointed! My top favorite drinks are the Thai milk tea with boba and the Passionfruit green tea with boba! The passionfruit galaxy tea is also so delicious and a beautiful color too! The slushies are also a great option on a hot summer day! read more

First time visit and they had such a big menu and pricing is fair, I wasn't a fan of the iced matcha latte with boba or the blended melon with boba both had such a horrible after taste. Definitely wouldn't get again. I will have to visit again to try the Thai tea. read more

Do you like boba? Do you like milk tea? Come here! New place in town and a good sign was the waiting line. There were plenty of workers to handle all the orders, so even though we had to wait 10 minutes to place our order, the teas came quickly. There were many choices. This is not the typical Taiwanese tea where you can pick your sweetness level. You have more choices of already put together flavors and also ice blended teas. read more

I've been here about 30 times or so. Tea is good but very sweet. I usually get the Galaxy Mango tea and boba with 50% sweet. I like the option for the corn with cheese and lime. It tastes so good. Anyways, I like to stick to the Galaxy drinks since its on the lighter side and doesn't have milk in it. The Thai Tea is also a good option with boba. read more

I used to really love this spot, the drinks are good. But I've been running into this problem with the service. I always order a Lavender MT with boba and I like to add honey to make it a little extra sweet, but the new workers REFUSE to add honey because "there's no button on the register for it". I have consistently ordered the same drink and have been charged for the honey and had no issues. It's beyond frustrating and frankly annoying at this point. read more

This place is a nice refreshing break from the intense heat of the desert. Plenty of options for hot, cold, and blended teas.. All kinds of delicious tea options.. Not much else. There is a couple of cute photo op areas, but I wouldn't call it "Instagramable". I believe this is their first building, so I would only expect improvements as they earn more money, which I hope happens. It'd be nice to see more decor and some small healthy bites. read more

First impression: It's in a plaza so plenty of parking. I came in around noon on Monday and it was empty. The girl behind the counter was friendly and was quick to take my order. The place itself is v clean. They have my fav Thai tea but I wanted to try something new so I ordered the Hokkaido milk tea without boba (cus gross) and it was delicious! Preface: I typically get Taro as my baseline in bubble tea/boba places. So this review is just for taro. Review: It's good. I got regular everything and the consistency for the slush is not too watery or too thick and is perfectly drinkable right away. With that said the taste is very good. What you would expect of taro. I mean you would think, "how can they mess it up" but ive been to places that really disappointed me with their taro. I feel like this is a basic flavor that should be perfect and TBH really nailed it for me. Highly recommend read more

During my stay at Palm Springs I was in some serious need of a cold drink. Boba being my favorite I looked for all the boba shops in the area. This one stood out the most from the pictures and their menu. I ordered drinks for me and my whole family and everyone was very happy with what they got. The dirty milk tea was delicious as it was beautiful. The taro milk tea was the perfect blend of sweet and smooth. The fruit drinks were also very fresh and cold for the heat of the California summer dessert weather we were experiencing that day. We lived it so much we had to come back the next day for more. The service was fast and the employees were all very friendly and considerate of our orders. If I'm in the area I will be driving here again! read more

This place is amazing and their large size is huge! The flavors of the teas were good strong! I wish this place was closer. I would go everyday! We ordered TBH milk tea with grass jelly, dirty brown sugar Thai tea with and without boba, and jasmine green milk tea with grass jelly. You can adjust your ice and sugar levels as you wish. Give them a try if you're in the area. read more

Pretty decent. I Stop by every now and then and always get something different because I still can't find the right flavors that go together lol. The first few drinks I got were really sweet, then I learned you didn't have to get them like that. I have found "25% sweet" to be adequate. If you're like myself and you don't really have a sweet tooth then I'd recommend the 25% to you as well. The 8 other people i work with are In love with this place and always talk me into coming here. Ill still likely continue to come here, but im not blown away. The prices are fair and the cups are cool so thats a plus. read more

We've incorporated various traditional drinks and ingredients from places like Thailand (Thai Tea) to Japan (Hokkaido Tea), India (Masala Chai Tea), and more recently, from the Philippines (Uji Matcha Tea). Established in 2019.

On March 4, 2019, Tea Be Honest officially opened our first boba shop in Palm Desert. And with the generous support from our customers, we attracted the demand for a second location. We opened another shop in Moreno Valley in 2020 and soon after in Cathedral City in 2021.

Does anyone know what the galaxy's series drink have in to besides the flowering of your choose?

It's a jasmine green tea based mixed with your choice of flavoring with a splash of lemon. They add a layer of chia seeds and top it off with a butterfly pea herbal tea. You can also make the drink decaf if you'd like!

I opted for a breakfast burrito which was made with quality ingredients. The burrito tasted clean, non-greasy and filling. The new set up is self-service and they still offer a good size dining area and free wifi so you can enjoy a meal or beverage.

You need to put them back up on the wall. Or else have several of them so that people standing in line can see what they want to order before they get up to the order window. Why would you take down your menu off the wall and replace it with a tacky piece of paper with a three dollar menu stand? I don't know it just seems like it's an awful confusing mess right now. All these people in the photo are trying to take turns looking at that menu. Everybody's cutting in front of each other to try to see it. I can't believe your employees haven't said something. You seriously need to fix this.

Sadler I'm leaving this review considering I really like the owners but I have a big concern with the tall girl and then another who works with her -both times I've gone in she has gotten my order wrong and she is very rude and condescending when telling her she made the drink wrong. She literally basically yelled at me and says we have the right to refuse service after years of going there and tipping at least 30% every time they've lost my business I will be going to another place I really hope the owner teaches these girls to be kind and courteous to the customers I've been loyal since the beginning but from now on I will take my business somewhere else!! read more

I've been here a few times now and honestly am not that impressed. Drinks are mediocre at best but satisfy my sweet tooth when I'm in the area. The past three times I've come here, including today around noon, there was only one staff member working. Taking the orders, making the drinks, answering questions, phone calls and trying to clean up all at once. I felt so horrible for him as he was so behind on orders, but was doing amazing and still providing amazing customer service. Shame on the business owner and management for not stepping up and coming in to help this young man. Not a good look for business to be consistently understaffed. read more

This is truly a gem in the valley. Yes the lines are long but it is so worth it. Try to come in the mornings and usually there's less lines. I've been to so many boba shops since I used to live in the LA area and I can tell that their drinks are made with high quality ingredients. Some of the drinks are even better than the LA boba shops. My favorite so far is the Hokkaido Milk Tea. Make sure to ask for half sugar if u don't like it that that sweet. read more
