HORRIBLE SERVICE. CAUTION: YOU MAY CHOKE ON PLASTIC IN THE DRINKS. I would leave 0 stars if I could. The lids are faulty. When you poke the straw through the lid a piece of plastic goes into the drink. They say there is a sign "please poke slowly." We didn't even see the sign because they served us the drink at the front counter. To top it off, we went back in to ask them to re-make it and Jason refused. Now we have to worry about sucking up plastic and choking on it. This is a huge safety hazard and could kill you or a child. In addition, it took 15 minutes for them to even take my order and there was no one in front of me. We wanted to put our phone number in for the rewards points but they told us we had to put it in before ordering. How were we supposed to know to put in the number before ordering??? The boba is terrible. We are originally from Los Angeles and know what good boba is. This boba was over cooked and tasted like it was made 2 days ago. While the tea is decent, it's not worth risking your life drinking it. read more

One of the few options for tea around the area, but they don't disappoint! Our green milk tea and Thai iced tea were very comparable to other popular tea spots. Also, their large size came in a very tall cup, although thinner than normal. Don't know if it's the same amount as a normal large cup, but it certainly made it look like it had more. First and foremost I'd like to point out the good things that happened in my experience. The person at register was excellent in customer service and had answers to all my questions. The cups and the backdrop with the store name are also pretty cute so it's perfect for IG/social media posts. Now the downside, it shouldn't take 50+ minutes to order and get 3 different drinks. Also, drinks should always be made in order and and people who had ordered after me shouldn't get their drinks before me. Yes it's understandable that the execution of our drinks should be up to standards, but there were at least 5 people working. The Dirty Milk Tea with tiramisu foam also wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The foam was explained to me to be like salted cheese at Happy Lemon but it was milk foam with a hint of tiramisu. The drink itself was bland. The taro milk tea was too sweet, as I also noticed it was already premade so you can't really blame them because if teas are premade, you rely on the added milk + ice to make it less sweet. One last disappointment was the boba. I asked for a sample and it was C O L D. It was very foreign to me that the boba was cold and I was told that "if it's served warm it makes the drink warm and it's too soft" lol in most cases no, because from personal experience people prefer their boba to be soft and chewy and fresh consistency. The boba was the most disappointing to me. This place is worth a try, but because of quality and wait time, I'm not going to come back. Thank you for your service! read more

Went to Tea Be Honest late Friday night and they were poppin ! The line was literally out the door. Didn't mind the line because I really wanted to try this place out. After waiting a cool minute I finally got to order. The guy at the counter was very helpful personable. The menu had unique varieties reminiscent of the boba places in LA. They also have snacks which include karage and fries but the kitchen wasn't open yet bc it's still a soft opening. But I will surely be back to try it out again. I ordered three drinks; taro, milk tea, and this yummy chocolate milky ice drink. Everything was so yummy. The milk tea especially had a special flavor not like any I had before. I think it is the milk they use-Hokkaido I think. The boba also was subtly sweet- a nice surprise. So excited for this place in the Palm Springs area. Very hopeful for this business read more

For boba in Palm Springs, it's fine. We got their signature dirty milk tea drink and I thought it was just overly sweet. We adjusted the sugar level but it didn't help much. It was also really milky. Quaint and cute boba stop. Quite a bit of variety. I don't recommend the galaxy series unless you really like your sweets. It has a very distinct sugary syrup taste. If you like the more common flavors, you can't go wrong with their Thai tea or taro with hakaido milk. Steer clear of the taro and hakaido though if you're lactose intolerant. The Thai tea has a very good blend, the milk definitely helps make it creamy. The cup sizes are a good portion. I feel like you should always buy large because it's less than a dollar difference but you'll get more. The plastic is extremely durable, you don't have to worry about it while you're driving. They're y'all and thin cups, so your cup holders will be able to hold them. read more

A cute pop'n boba place. There menu is a bit intimidating but everything on there is bomb so you really can't go wrong. Be patient, there is always a line to order because there is only one register, however the drinks come out fast and delicious. The tea its self is not mixed all of the sugar is usually on the bottom so if you don't mix it you'll get a mouth full of suga. Keep that in mind. I recommend shaking the tea before you poke the straw through the hole. I work at Starbucks I have some experience when it comes to shaking/mixing teas. In my opinion the best way to mix it is to give it a couple swirls with just the flick of the wrist. Lolz. Then put the straw in and mix it with the straw. And thennnn take a sip. If you're feeling daring flip it upside down for a second or two before putting the straw in. read more

I hate writing reviews like this but I have to. I came here and min I walked in wasn't greated the girl in the front desk giant attitude. I ordered a vanilla chai with boba however it was so sweet it made my teeth hurt so I asked nicely for them to put more milk which the guy who made the drink told me to mix it up like that was going to do something. If anything it mixed in with the milk and made it more sweet. Even at Starbucks you pay 5 dollars average if you don't like it they will remake it for you. The customer service was lacking. I paid 5 dollars for a drink that was basically sugar. Never again will I return here. They need to treat customers better because at the end of the day if it wasn't for the customer who pays for the drinks they wouldn't be in business. Remember that! read more

This place is SO yummy! You CANT be in a hurry though because the wait just order your drink is no joke almost 15 minutes or more. It is always busy! But... well worth it IF you have the time. There is SO many drinks to choose from (I wish they did a tea of the week sample) so you can get familiar with there menu. People will be at the register still deciding what to order (guilty) They're still relatively new so hopefully when the buzz dies down things will go more smoothly. Tea Be Honest is the best boba spot in the desert! I visit TBH about once a week and they have yet to let me down. My go-to drinks are the Vanilla Chai & the Lavender Milk Tea, both of which are on the lighter side of sweetness. The last time I was here I ordered a Vanilla Chai with boba which I highly recommend if you prefer a drink that's not overwhelmingly sweet.The chai flavor is semi-subtle with an added sweetness that blends perfectly with the black tea. They also have some of the better boba I've tasted; the consistency is not too hard and not too soft and you can tell that it has been soaked in their honey syrup for a decent amount of time because it also has a slight honey flavor. In addition, they put your drink in a reusable plastic cup with a lid that has a tiny straw hole cover attached that works! I like to cover the straw hole whilst I mix my drink and there are no spills! As a local, I can attest this is the best place in the desert and though they're located on the opposite end of Palm Springs, it is 100% worth the drive every time. I am so happy a boba place opened up on this side of the Coachella Valley! I've had boba from here at least 4 or 5 different times since it opened and have not been disappointed! I have tried White Peach oolong with honey boba and it was DELICIOUS! I tried the Earl Grey Milk tea with crystal boba and it has become my new favorite. I also tried the Passionfruit Galaxy series with honey boba and the TBH Dirty Milk tea with crystal boba, which were both very good as well. The inside is also very cute and perfect for Instagram and selfies. They have a good amount of chairs and tables as well as FREE WIFI! The only downside is that the lines are long, they can vary between a couple people ahead of you to lines all the way out the door. You just have to go at the right time, usually before the schools are out which is around 2:45pm on weekdays. It would be nice if they could do mobile pick-up or something to avoid the long wait. read more
