To start off, our hostess and server were great! Our server, J, was very kind, knew his way around…read morethe menu, and checked up on us often. Second, the decor was beautiful and the vibe was giving a tree house. And the reason why you're reading this, the food! Takoyaki 10/10: Very delicious and crispy takoyaki with mayo on the bottom. Seared Hotate: This was the appetizer that shook me and my friends. Wabi House has somehow turned scallops into steak. They were very delicious, tender, and juicy. Unfortunate that it only came with 4 pieces Very delicious ramen with chewy noodles! All of these noodles held their sauces and soups very well. Our only complaint with the general noodle dishes were that they had little meat or only one slice of meat. The slice was so delicious and tender, it fell apart when I bit into it! Unfortunately wish I had more. Shoyu Ramen 8/10: A very good savory standard ramen! Not sure how to describe the flavor but it is just a good salty soup when you want something heartful and salty. Spicy Miso 6/10: Not much to it but spice! It came with no meat and I could unfortunately only taste the spice. Dry Garlic 7/10: I did not actually expect for this to have no soup, I guess I should read better, but this was delicious! If you love garlic, this is for you! It helped with my cravings and was so filling. Didn't get to try any dessert but maybe next time!

We always get amazing service from Mindy, so attentive and so nice! We always opt for indoor seating but the outdoor bar is great too. Even though it is a large space, the ambiance is great and good place to yap and eat some good food.

the location is very small, with a capacity of 32 people. they do have a grade A sanitation level,…read moreand this was the cleanest i've felt at a restaurant. normally i find myself having to dust off crumbs or wipe my table, but here i did not. i saw the waitress constantly back and forth wiping down tables and making sure the place is spotless. even while she was busy she always made sure to stop by and make sure we were okay. they have two self ordering screens in the front with a large variety of foods to choose from. the ramen was good, but it did remind me a lot of instant noodles because the noodles were thin and the broth was a little bit salty. it did not satisfy my cravings the way i thought it would. especially for $17. the two slices of pork on top were tender and had a sweet taste to them, with a perfect amount of soft fat on the sides. the boiled eggs were very soft, with the yolk perfectly thick in the middle. the portion may not seem large, but i found that i could barely finish half of my order. it is very filling!

Kintaro Ramen in Arlington is one of those places that immediately makes you relax the second you…read morewalk in. The space feels intimate and welcoming, the kind of spot where the steam from the bowls fogs up the windows and time slows down just enough to enjoy your meal. The ramen is where Kintaro really shines. The broth is deeply flavored and comforting, rich without feeling heavy, and clearly simmered with care. Every sip feels intentional. The noodles have that perfect bite, springy and substantial, soaking up the broth without going soft. Toppings are generous and well balanced, especially the pork, which is tender and savory and melts into the broth in the best way. What really sells the experience is how everything works together. The warmth of the space, the aroma of the kitchen, and the layered flavors in the bowl create something that feels less like a quick meal and more like a small ritual. It's the kind of place you want to linger, finishing the last drops of broth even when you're already full. Kintaro isn't flashy or overhyped. It's just solid, soulful ramen served in a space that feels like a refuge. If you're craving something comforting and satisfying, this is absolutely the spot.

I heard of Hoshi Ramen, while looking for restaurants I might want to visit in the future…read more Today, was that day, that I went to Hoshi Ramen. The restaurant is very elegant, very neat, clean and well organized. I got there as they opened, and was promptly greeted by Ms. Lucy, hoste/waitress, who was soft spoken, very welcoming, with a very nice smile and beautiful personality, and was very efficient. She took my order, brought me a glass of water, and I ordered the Shoyu chicken ramen for $13.00 plus $2.00 added for a large. The Shouyu Chicken ramen was very delicious, the chicken broth was so good great flavor. Albeit, in my humble opinion the noodles, other toppings and chicken was very sparse for the price of the ramen. But, as far as taste goes it was one the best I have had so far. I also had the chicken fried rice bowl, for $10.00 $2.00 added for chicken, and gyoza (6pcs), for $7.00. to go for my daughter. The chicken fried rice was very flavorful, and daughter said the guys was very delicious. I will most definitely be coming here again the food was very satisfying, Ms. Lucy, is awesome and very kind. Please come on in and support this great ramfn restaurant. Hope to see you there. I highly recommend it.

Back from Japan and craving Ramen we started the hunt for a local spot today…read more The service was excellent and the restaurant itself had a nice ambiance. Gyoza to start that were nice and crispy, could have done with more than the teaspoonful of sauce we were given though. Maximum tea points, hot green tea that tasted delicious and was served in the cutest little pot I've seen in a while. It was a terrible pourer though, but the waiter warned me and put some napkins on the table to clean up. The ramen was quite disappointing, I know how spoiled I currently am with the memory of Ichibahn burned into my brain, but...these were quite pricey and not that good. The broth was lightly flavored with little depth, the beansprouts and corn (why are these in my ramen?) Moved the flavour profile even brighter and there was quite a lot of green onion. With a $5 add on for 2 small slices of extra pork that's a $20 bowl. So yes, 3 stars. They have bottled Kirin so I might be back, but I will be exploring the other menu items.
