There are only 2 boba spots in near me. They had good reviews and more variety. I was so happy that they carry wintermelon tea and it's new. I got wintermelon tea with half sugar and boba. The tea itself was pretty good and I was expecting it to be mediocre. I came around 11am and they open at 10.. boba was so hard and disgusting. It felt like yesterday's boba. Disappointed in that. I would expect fresh chewy boba when you just opened. I would come back again bc of the variety. Hopefully the boba is better. read more

I was expecting great flavors and the sweetness on point, but i didn't..Maybe because I've enjoyed the boba loca in Burbank or the it's Boba Time in Newhall the drinks are nicely sweet but no overwhelming. I got a Taro smoothie here at TeaBox and Boyyyyy! It's very sweet too much for someone like me to drink and I like sweet stuff. The wife and I came in to eat some lunch. The environment is cute. I liked the colors of the walls and tables and chairs. We ordered two Meal C's (which consists of a drink, fries, and pho.) It took about ten minutes for the food to come out. The fries were pretty good. Cooked just enough, but could have been better seasoned. I ordered the strawberry lemonade which it was pretty good. Though the pho was pretty suspicious. If you're looking for pho don't come here. Their meat looks weird, and the rice noodles look like linguini and don't even taste like rice noodles. Doesn't even taste close to what pho is supposed to taste like. The portion would have been substantial but I couldn't even bare to make a dent in the bowl. First timer here and first thought walking in was wow they have a lot of options. I was surprised cause the AV has few boba places with basic flavors. I LOVE boba and have had them from many places so my expectations are high. To be honest this place didn't hit my expectations. I got a almond milk tea w/ taro egg pudding so gross tasted like medicine or a circo amaretto . My fiancé got Hong Kong milk tea w/ passion fruit boba and it was just ok. Sister got golden milk tea which was way better then mine but still just ok. Bro in law got a taro smoothie not sure how that tasted. The service was very friendly but it was only one girl by herself and during making our order she had to stop to place someone else's order. Felt bad for her. Might give another try not sure. I love this place! They make everything fresh, using real tea, and you can customize sweetness and flavors unlike other boba places where it's just a gross powder base. I had the Almond coconut milk tea with boba in a regular size. It was very delicious and creamy. The boba was at a right texture not too hard and not too soggy. The place is looks and smells clean. As my first tine going there it was a good experience regarding service, drink, and location. Since it was my first time I was not familiar with the pricing. The facilities are pleasantly decorated and clean. I ordered the pho and a smoothie for takeout. The service was friendly and attentive, though there were only three of us while I was there. The pho was not the best, but was good and packaged with the requisite sides, with the notable exception of basil (wherefor art thou, my sweet basil?) The only selection was beef, where I usually get chicken at other establishments since I try to limit my red meat consumption. This is the first time I have had meatballs in pho, and I could have definitely lived without those, they were chewy and unpleasant. They seem like they are prepackaged/frozen, and just low quality. I am sure I will be back at some point because of the convenience of the location, but I will definitely put a hold on those meatballs. Another customer made a comment about their eggrolls being cold in the middle, which also suggests it was a frozen food. They have such a small menu, it would be easy to provide freshly made, rather than prepackaged/frozen foods, and that would make a huge difference (I am looking at you, nasty meatballls). My smoothie was fun and a delicious treat. I sampled some of the golden milk tea while I was there, and it was amazing. If you are coming for the drinks alone, definitely a 5 star. read more
