Mango Bingsoo. It's shaved ice, big chunks of juicy mangos in I think mango puree and condensed milk topped off with pudding.

The staff guys were very nice. This is my new fav spot. I ordered their Mango Bingsoo. It's pretty big! Thank you guys!

Stopped by here after dinner. They have a real great selection of teas and drinks. We got a coco snow coffee and an egg coffee. All of it were really good. Nice place to study.

Cute little cafe serving up vietnamese coffee and matcha! I got a jasmine milk tea and I loved the tea flavor which was balanced well with the 30% sugar. Would love to come here to study sometime!

My boyfriend and I both stopped by because we were craving Vietnamese coffee and saw they sold some. Their coffee is really good! Staff is really friendly too, and it seems like a nice spot to study/work.

The wintermelon drink here is super refreshing and comes with three different toppings: basil seeds, grass jelly, and agar boba. The agar boba is definitely an interesting addition but I enjoyed it. The tea flavor here is also strong which I like. The foam is alright, there's not much to it other than a milky taste.

I just came here for the egg tart and it did not disappoint! After a recent trip to Portugal, I fell in love with pasteis de nata pastries. I wanted to find something that tasted similar to the Portuguese pastries and Tea Daddy popped up in my search! It's called an egg tart at this spot and delicious. Highly recommend. They have tons of tea that maybe I'll try next time I visit. But, for now, it's my go-to spot for egg tarts. ;)

Drinks are kinda expensive here but that's boba now I guess. I tried their popcorn chicken (mild spicy) and the hawaiian tea. Drink was good but pretty sweet, I liked the fresh fruit inside though. Popcorn chicken was fine very standard. Not too many plugs here for studying just fyi. Also who ever had their phone connected to the music had their notifications on and it was semi driving me insane.

This boba shop is located in a plaza with plenty of free parking available in the lot. It is clean, quiet, and seems like a good study spot. Although I did not interact with the barista because I ordered on the Chowbus POS, my drink was made quickly. The classic milk tea was decent.

ORDER Matcha Latte Lychee Tea I enjoyed the fruit teas more than the milk tea (at least for the Matcha Milk Tea). The Lychee tea had great flavor overall. It had a strong tea flavor with a hint of lychee that did not overpower the drink. The Matcha was alright, nothing special - just an average drink. Boba texture is very good. I like the chewiness of the boba and how it is not hard or starchy. VIBES This is a great place to study and hangout. There's booth seating, cushioned seats and wooden seats as well. Plenty of tables to study and nice cozy environment. Decor revolves around plants and cute green shades. I will say that when we went they were playing some Vietnamese Pop/Rap pretty loudly which could be distracting when studying but that's just something to note. SERVICE Service was good! Drinks came out quickly and people were nice.

Egg coffee ($6) Ube coffee ($6)

The drinks were amazing and very good for the price. 10/10 customer service- they were so nice! Definitely worth a visit!

Egg coffee - tastes like a crème brûlée coffee! It's so good

I love this place! I try to go whenever I'm in the area because I can't get egg coffee in my area. The egg tarts are REALLY good as well. Highly recommend! It's warm, flakey and the filling is a bit lighter but sweet. Service is fast and friendly :)

An absolute gem in Richardson -- we'll definitely be back!…read more La Casita Bakeshop completely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming, and our server Diana made the whole experience. She was knowledgeable, genuinely enthusiastic about the menu, and so pleasant to talk to -- exactly the kind of hospitality that turns a good meal into a great one. The food itself was outstanding. We ordered the French Toast and the Birria Brisket Croque Madame, and both were incredible -- beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The Croque Madame especially blew us away; it's the kind of dish you think about after you leave. The side hash rounded it all out perfectly. And then there are the pastries. We grabbed the Mango Sticky Rice Cream Puff and the Amaretto Cherry Basque Cheesecake Brownie from the Weekend Selections -- both were stunning, not just visually but in flavor. The cheesecake brownie topped with those cherry meringues looked almost too good to eat. Almost. Washed everything down with the Salted Honey Matcha and it was the perfect companion to the whole spread. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing -- the menu is so creative and well thought-out that we already have a list of things we want to try next time. And there will be a next time. La Casita has earned a regular customer. Highly, highly recommend.

Great food, but front-of-house operations and management are a total mess…read more My family and I finally visited La Casita Bakeshop over the weekend after seeing a lot of marketing for it. While the food itself was definitely good, the front-end operations were incredibly poor, and the service left a lot to be desired. The serving staff seemed completely untrained and lacked basic common sense, right down to knowing how to properly handle plates and utensils. To make matters worse, we encountered the shift manager, Jesus, on Sunday, May 24th. Not only was he arrogant, but he completely lacked Customer Service 101 skills. At one point, he told us the wait time would be an hour, yet there were four completely empty tables inside and servers were just standing around idle. He is clearly an inexperienced restaurant manager who does not know how to efficiently run a floor or manage a team. A major caution for potential guests ordering takeout: The staff has absolutely no clue how to properly pack food. They packed runny eggs into a standard cardboard box, which inevitably leaked right through the holes and made a massive mess everywhere (see attached picture). On top of that, for a bakery and coffee spot, they didn't even carry basic options like 2% or Lactaid milk. My humble suggestion to the owners is to invest some serious time and guidance into improving your front-of-house operations and management training. The kitchen is doing its part, but the front-end experience and sloppy packaging are dragging the whole establishment down.

This shop looks like it's seen better days, but they still have the same yummy egg tarts!…read more When I arrived, the door was locked and the shop was empty, even though it was during their opening hours. There's two phone numbers on the door. I called the top one (972-815-7560) which was written more clearly. A lady answered, and we spoke a mix of mediocre Mandarin and mediocre English. (The reviews say they speak Cantonese.) She said my order of a dozen would take 30-35 min, $35, cash only. I set an alarm and napped in the car. After 40 min, I stepped into the store and greeted Dragon Mak (who now appropriately looks decades older than his photo on the wall). As we waited for the egg tarts to finish baking, we chatted in broken Mandarin about how his wife passed away 6 months ago, how much it cost to bury her, how much it cost to purchase his nearby home decades ago, how he used to live in the Houston Chinatown and how affordable it was back in the day... Tl;dr - Scrumptious fresh egg tarts made to order Call to place order for pickup: 972-815-7560 Cash only, no $50 or $100 bills (something about a counterfeit bill scare??) As of 12/2024, $35 a dozen
