The service is excellent. The people are nice and everyone is friendly. The service to get your food is SLOW...be warned your boba will be done lickity split but the food takes forever. The snacks are tasty...and just fill you up enough. The boba is pretty good and it is my 2nd favorite...It's not exactly what I wanted but close enough. If the review was solely based on their food and boba I would give them 5 stars... Unfortunately, if you've ever tried to come here and sit and eat you will find it filled with young kids simply occupying space. One other review even noted how they sat for two hours and no one asked them to leave.... I have walked into this place and left for the last time tonight (which is the literally the third time). Great hangout spot in the valley! Lots of games and drinks! This is the only boba joint in the valley that actually serves food. Location is great! Lots of parking and table seating. My go-to drinks are their milk tea and fruity pebble drink w/boba. They have a great selection of topping like boba, crystal boba, rainbow jellies, and aloe. I would consider this my top spot for boba in the Northridge/Valley area. Their boba are perfectly cooked. I hate it when I get uncooked boba. My top favorite is their Taro boba and since I don't like my drinks too sweet I order it 25% sweet and it just perfect for me. Don't forget to try their fresh juice. On a hot day their watermelon juice is just perfect and refreshing and yourself a favor and order the large size because the small one won't be enough. On the food side I haven't really tried much except for their fried whole squid and popcorn chicken. Which both are really good. The staff their are really friendly too. They have some games to keep you entertained. Plus, plenty of parking. The down side is that the wait is a bit long for your order, but I can assure you that it's worth the wait. read more

It's not often that I go all the way to the valley for boba but when I do, I go to Bonbon. Of course, bonbon is extremely busy and can sometimes have a line out the door. On this particular fall day, I happened to park by Tea 'n Tea while doing some Black Friday shopping. Seeing all the positive reviews, I dropped by for my source of caffeine, milk tea. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and nice. The menu is pretty decent. So long as they had milk tea, I am pretty happy with it. The milk tea was delicious and the boba is just right, which reminds me of a lot of honey boba places from the SGV. There's also an assortment of snacks to choose from, but I have a one track mind and no hunger at this particular moment. My bf got a watermelon smoothie which actually tasted straight up like watermelon and it was quite impressive. I say Tea 'n Tea is a great little boba place on par with Bonbon in the valley. It's a bit more expensive, especially since Bonbon gives you free upgrades when you check in (I saw nowhere did it state that they do this at Tea 'n Tea), but at least it's another great boba place in the valley where only mediocrity has been dominant. read more

Came here for a late night boba after finishing up our escape room. Funny enough, we went to two places before ending up here, but the first two locations had lines out the DOOR. The have a pretty typical boba menu, teas, snows, slushies and all that. I have a vanilla cookie snow and my friend had a vanilla chai tea boba. Both were good. I actually chose the vanilla cookie per recommendation of the friendly cashier. I assumed it was a actual vanilla cookie, but was told it's like an oreo--I was sold. The name threw me off, but I'm glad I chose it because I was basically looking for the most junk-food esque drink and nothing says junk food like have an oreo milkshake and filling it with tapioca pearls. My friend's vanilla chai tea was good, very strong tea taste, which he enjoyed. I don't think I would have enjoyed an entire cup of it because it was really strong, but he liked it. They have the chubby cups which I absolutely hate unfortunately. They have and will always boggle my mind because they don't fit in cupholders and I ended up having a drink in between my thighs and one in between my ankles as we drove all the way back to Los Angeles. They were fun five years ago, now they just frustrate me. Boba consistency is decent, not my favorite, but still above average. Good visit with friendly service!
