They even have these wide sized cups, perfect for people who need their soup sized boba drinks. Today I opted for a Matcha with Brûlée foam (added boba to it for an extra charge). The cashier let me know it's on the sweeter side so I went with 50% sugar. The matcha wasn't too strong and the little crunchies on top were a nice texture along with the honey boba. I was greeted by Russell, who was very excited, pleasant, and provided tremendous service. He recommended a hot chocolate milk tea that was delicious. It was very good. The issue I have is that the cup is always filled about 1/2" below the top and I have to order double boba to have enough boba given that this is a boba drink. as a comparison to Bounce, they fill up the cup to the very top and at least 1/3 of the cup is boba. It's located in an outdoor shopping center with a big parking lot so parking was ample and easy. The store was clean, modern and spacious. Decor was simple and modern with a few tables and four sofas, perfect for lounging. This is an order at the counter business with the menu posted above the counter. The menu contained options of Flavored Teas Milk Teas, Tea Lattes, Slushies, Coffees, Milk Smoothies, Snowy Milks and Yakuts. My daughter ordered a custom tea which was made quickly and exactly as ordered. She loved it! Service was outstanding. The two young men who assisted us were patient, friendly and helpful. Bon bon has been one of my favorite boba shops since high school. I wish they had this location when I was a high schooler, I would have been here like everyday if it was back then lol! My sister is a high schooler now and she comes here to hangs out with her friends. There is plenty of space to sit. This spot is pretty nice and busy since it is next to the school. The wait can be busy just like the reseda location. As for drinks, it is consistent like the other location which is good. This is a good location for Bon Bon to be. They added new beverages to the menu such as matcha that tastes better than what Starbucks sells. The strawberry matcha is what I get now. The coffee milk smoothie with boba tastes great too. The potstickers are delicious for a food item that they sell. Quick stop for a Jasmine Tea Milk w/ boba. Very clean and minimalist inside. All natural lighting during the daytime. Staff very friendly. Only one other party inside ordering. The menu was a little small to read but there was a menu on the counter. A few chip like snacks on the counter but nothing I think would go well with boba. They were more salty and I was looking for sweet options to split with my friend. There were three sizes: regular, large and a slap pack (1/2 gallon) with looked like about 6-8 servings. I can see that being fun for a road trip or a small gathering of friends who like the same drink. You can't get any boba with the slap pack which I think was $19. My milk tea was perfect. Sweet but not too sweet and the Jasmine was not too overpowering floral. Tip: They have a frequent shopper program using your email and phone number. Use it for credit towards future orders. Hardly any wait, quick service at the counter ( note it did get busier and louder as the night went on past 8:30pm) while I was there it was a mellow atmosphere, The lighting is dim but it's easy on the eyes, perfect to study or play a board game. We used to go to BonBon Northridge pretty often back in the day when it was one of the top boba spots AND had the cute, chunky cups! We stopped going because we moved a bit further and it wasn't as close but also wanted to continue trying new/other boba spots and it eventually fell off our top list. We were very excited to see this new location open and decided to pop by for their soft opening! We stopped by last week and wasn't excited about the boba pearls but the drinks were great. The boba was just way too soft with barely any chew to it. The young man seemed like the only worker that night and was juggling making drinks and taking orders but was very nice and customers were patient. We stopped by again last night to a whole new different staff, about the same time as the other time and looked like they had 3 people working that night which made the drinks and line go by faster. I went for a different type of drink, not my usual, felt a little adventurous, I used to always get a blended honeydew years ago but this time I went for a honeydew black tea which was great! Had the hint of honeydew but still that strong, bitter tea flavor and the boba pearls were PERFECT. Nice and chewy, just the way it should be. As many others, I love going to the Northridge branch to get some drinks. I was excited seeing a new branch open up and have it's soft opening here at Granada Hills. It's located in the vast parking lot of the Granada Hills plaza and is situated across from DIY Home Center. Upon walking to the entrance, you are able to see a view of the counter straight ahead to the back. I was able to come during a fairly empty time, but I can imagine how a busy line of people will definitely fill up the large space. I was immediately greeted by the staff and I ordered my usual-- a thai tea milk tea with light boba. Pretty happy to see that my phone number for points and rewards from the Northridge branch works here as well. After sitting down to wait for my order, I noted how peaceful it felt in here-- something anyone knows from the Northridge branch is rare, be it the sounds of machines, music blasting, and customers. The music is playing but not too loud. I savored that feeling and the drink I got. They had my drink ready very quickly and ths lady that made it was full of smiles. The thai tea was nicely flavored and distinctive. The boba was chewy but firm, which I enjoyed. All in all, the experience was great. I am excited to get more drinks from here! Great place, genuinely my #1 boba place nearby. Cups are huge (great for someone like me who loves boba ) and the drinks are incredible. I highly recommend the Matcha Smoothie! The service from the workers is always nice, and they are always willing to accommodate my needs. I often ride my bike (electric bike, almost a small motorcycle with its size and two seats) to Bon Bon and carry the drink back. Unfortunate location right next to busy street, as twice now I have either been hit by a car or almost hit (dropping my boba.) Not bon bon's fault at all, but can they please get a bike rack or lock installed out front so I can sit inside to enjoy my drinks knowing my bike won't be taken? Awesome. read more
