The staff…read morehere are friendly, and while there isn't much space to sit and hang out, that's fairly typical of Yi Fang locations. It's more of a grab-and-go setup rather than somewhere you'd come to spend a lot of time. You can order ahead of time or place your order in the store using the self-service tablets, which makes the process pretty straightforward and efficient. One thing I like about Yi Fang is the consistency of their drinks, along with the variety of options available. There's something for different tastes and preferences, and you can customize things like ice and sweetness levels. They also have plenty of toppings to choose from. We ordered the Sugar Cane with Boba and the Multi-Floral Honey Mountain Tea with Aiyu Jelly. Both were delicious, refreshing, and different enough that I'd happily order them again. With so many drinks to choose from, it's also a place where you can keep coming back and try something new each time. Overall, a convenient spot when you're looking for a refreshing drink without a long or complicated ordering process.

Drinks are always consistent. Sweetness on point. Toppings on point. I massively appreciate this…read moreand hence the 4 stars. Can't give 5 stars because the time for preparation isn't correct (most of the time I stand there and it's already done yet they don't tell you/no longer call out numbers or name and then as I'm driving away, it tells me the drink is done and ready for pick up). Additionally, not much sitting area to the point nobody really stays and wants to chat or play games... I think uses canned goods such as the aiyu isn't natural but canned. (I understand natural aiyu is expensive and takes too much time to prepare.) Service: speaks both Mandarin Chinese and English Vibe: I feel like it's more of a pickup scene than a hey let's hang out here and chat. Would I come back? I always grab a drink when I'm going to Ping's Bistro, harharhar

I've been sleeping on Tocotea and now I can't believe I haven't tried this spot sooner, especially…read moresince boba options are limited in Union City and Hayward! My husband and I stopped by after dinner on a Friday evening and it was not too busy. I ordered the guava green tea with less sweetness and less ice, and he ordered the mango passion fruit oolong tea with half sweetness and half ice. Both drinks were really good and satisfied our cravings. We will definitely be back to try other items! They have a pretty large selection of teas and they even offer sugarcane juice. They also have lots of tables but it was a bit stuffy inside so I probably wouldn't hang out here on a warm day.

I had perused the menu ahead of time (as I always do), but sadly, what I wanted ( Three Heroes) but did not see it on the menu posted at the register. I chose the Thai Green Milk Tea ... also not offered anymore so I went with an oolong milk tea, no sugar, 25% ice (my standard ice/sugar selections), with boba, add grass jelly. The boba was good, well cooked. The tea itself didn't have much flavor and the drink seemed watered down. Maybe it just needed more mixing. The cups are the fancy kind with a real plastic lid, not sealed plastic. I like the sealed plastic cuz it allows you to shake the drink, and it's probably cheaper too. This was a convenient stop for my boba craving but then we also hit up the Krispy Kreme and Jollibee for some sweets (both are right across the way in the same plaza).
